Daily coffee, the best coffee in Hereford

Marked down because of the infuriating new screens you have to stare at until the part of the menu you're interested in appears. Then you have a matter of seconds to make a decision before the screen changes again. (Re. kiosks, part of the reason I go out for coffee is that I enjoy interacting with people. It's an escape from screens.)

Ordered off the TooGoodToGo for collection at 6pm, went to collect and they told me to come back at 6.30pm. When I collected the bag, goods were supposed to be a value of £12. I had 2 paninis which were reduced to £3 each and a croissant. NOT £12 worth. Cooked them and put them straight in the bin! They tasted so fishy, they weren’t right.

Good coffee, but expensive. When busy they seem to always have miscommunication and miss my order and do everyone behind me, so you ask and they act so angry towards you fit asking but they do it. I now avoid when busy.

Great place to relax while the wife goes clothes shopping 🛍 ☺️

Delicious Cappucino with whipped cream. I recommend it while walking.

Used to love going here, sitting outdide in the fresh air winter and summer, somewhere different However now it is all enclosed, tables grubby, floor dirty and the only ouside area is full of smokers. Such a shame

We used to come here when ever in the City but its gone down hill, dirty tables and seats, and the new enclosed seating area is a case of 'its been improved worse'. Something has gone wrong - please get back to how it used to be.

I love this place and I always come here over other coffee places, but it says it closes at 7pm and yesterday they were closing at 6pm, which I didn’t really like bc I couldn’t have anything… maybe change the closing times

Will never return as just been this evening and after the very obnoxious lady served the person in front of me she said, I’m not serving anyone else and just closed the shutter as it was 6pm

Coffee was just ok, sandwich just ok, customer service not great. Will find somewhere else when back in town.

Decent service, good range of 'fry up' nosh and hot n cold drinks

Nice coffee. But zero customer service. She was chatting away to staff, not even looking at me and just held out her hand waiting for me to put money in it. I handed her the money and she put it in the till not saying one word to me and not even looking at me. I asked if she was going to thank me, she just looked at me and laughed. I'll never go here again! 17th of May 2022 in the afternoon

Unfortunately not that great… Me and my partner went yesterday to get an ice cream each. I asked for 2 mint choc ice creams, in waffle cones. The lady behind the counter looked almost irritated? Said they were waiting on waffle cones, so did I want anything else. I said we could have 2 chocolate cones instead. She proceeded to give me one cone with 2 scoops of mint, which was not what I ordered. With a line behind me I didn’t argue. That one ice cream cost me £6.70 which is insane. Service and price really really lets it down

Always fantastic coffee and great selections of pastries and cakes. Personally the almond croissant is the best I've ever had. Great seating area along with the other selection of ice creams and lunch able food they do too.

Incredibly busy as always popped in to get my unwell dad a small cup of tea and the queue was really long. Good tea though and done fast once ordered

Ordered 2 cappuccinos and what I got can only be described as lukewarm milk with a hint of coffee.

Very busy with christmas shoppers but service was fast. My mum is quite particular about her cuppa, but they were more than happy to accomodate. Good value and appreciated that the 'smokers' tables were the other side of the hut than the non smoking outdoor ones.

Very dirty tables! Why can’t the staff clean up outside - not a single table without piles of used cups and plates!!

No clean tables anywhere. Littered with used drinks containers. No attempt to clean in between customers. Drinks not hot enough despite asking for extra hot

We had the banoffee shake and watermelon granita. Both were fantastic. Staff were friendly and great separation of smokers and non smokers, huge well done for that.

Top class coffee, amazing flavour options and other drinks available. Really great food and desserts on offer too. Unbeatable gelato ice cream/shakes. Staff are always lovely and super helpful. Shop and seating area has always been pretty good but even better now with the upgrades.

Charges for any alternative milk, charges for cream on a hot chocolate, charges for a flake, 5er for a choc chip milkshake that took 30 seconds to make. Sort of business to charge you to put out a fire, then tell you it's coz they need water.

Lovely atmosphere, great coffee. Can be busy in the middle of the day, we tend to visit before 9am. Food is great but I’ve only tried Welsh cakes, croissants & WAFFLES with ICE CREAM!

Opens early at 7am so a great place for breakfast... which was hot and delicious like the coffee. And happy friendly service too.

Very covid aware with outside seating well spaced. Hot chocolate was very tasty on a chilly evening late night shopping. The smells from the food kiosk were very inviting and looked good too. Those that tried it gave it the double thumbs up. Reasonably priced and very popular. We come back time after time to enjoy a beverage or two.

Lovely little coffee place in the New Market. Stopped to treat the family to Icecream which was delicious! They cater for Dairy free and Gluten Free too which is great. The staff were helpful and friendly plus they were very good with cleaning regimes to combat covid.

Appalling service asked for a black coffee and two other drinks first ones came mine was 5 mins later sat down opened it and it was white took it back for the black coffee I had asked for waited another 5 mins and low and behold white again how hard is it to make BLACK coffee

Paid for two cups coffee, got in queue to collect them but ten people who were behind me who ordered after me were served first, I asked the two staff if they had overlooked my order, they didn't even reply or apologise just said I will do them now. shame as great coffee but very poor service

Lovely little spit fir a coffee

It was so messy, all the tables were not cleared up for the hour we were there. The food trays inside were all minging, the waiting area and coffee area was a bit gross, sticky and over crowded, there wasn't even a lid on the chocolate sprinkle and just rubbish and old spoons etc not cleaned up. Cigarette butts all over the floor around the tables in the outside dining areas, the table service was non existent, despite being given a table number and told the food would be brought out. Food wise, the pre-made baguettes tasted nice, quite light on the filling for the price. The coffee on the other hand was really nice, even though i was given something else to what I thought I had ordered. This was after i was handed my food, rather than before and then having food brought to the table, so I didn't want to wait for something else, as food was getting cold. I have been here a couple of times before when it wasn't too busy, seemed a bit better then, but honestly today was not nice, wouldn't probably go back after this experience. It has the potential to be such a nice place, but like a lot of places around there, they get busy and then get trashy.

The drinks are never consistent (the ‘hot drinks’ are lukewarm). As for the cold drinks, on one occasion the frappe ordered was served as coffee & poured milk with floating ice cubes (bitter tasting) and on another occasion it was blended to a slushy consistency with syrup. I’ve also had incomplete drinks where they’ve forgotten to add cream (as requested at the till & displayed on the menu). The staff are more interested in each other than customers. The outside space is what saves this place (hence the extra star).

No China mugs available. Didn't want a take away cup Jensen eating in.

Great service, great coffee and great toastie... What more can I say! Just the start I need to the day. I will be definitely choosing the delightful local coffee house over the large chains in the future.
