Muzzy’s Turquoise Cafe in Charnwood

Ordered a full English which my husband said was piping hot & tasted nice. My salad however was disappointing. It was at least 95% lettuce leaves. The other 5% was the tiniest bits of beetroot, walnuts & feta cheese sprinkled on top. I was hungry an hour later. Where were the tomatoes, cucumber etc etc etc? Don’t think we will bother going again, so many other cafes in Loughborough to choose from.

Turkish breakfast is sooooo delicious and filling and the staff are very friendly and down to earth. George and Dionne xxx

First time in this wonderful little cafe. Quick friendly service. Great coffee. Sausage and egg cob and toasted tea cake arrived in no time at all, hot and delicious! Will be back!

I visited with my granddaughter for lunch. We don’t live locally and always visit this fabulous cafe when we are in Loughborough. We were not disappointed. A very warm welcome. The cafe is very clean and the decor is bright and welcoming. We were quickly attended to by staff and our order taken. I have a food intolerance and Muzzy told me he could adapt most items on the menu, which he would tailor to my need. I chose the jacket potato. Served with tuna and a rainbow salad with coleslaw it was outstanding. Beautifully presented. No waste on my plate! We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to Muzzy and his he’d working team.

What a fabulous find -had a late breakfast each-one was the vegetarian breakfast -lots of interesting ingredients and beautifully presents and cooked. Other breakfast was the granola and smoothie -generous serving and full of flavour. Well priced and prompt service with friendly staff

Really welcoming and cozy cafe. And to add to the welcoming vibe the staff especially the main man Muzzy himself is a super hard working gentleman who did everything to ensure everyone is happy as they walk through the door till they leave. The food was very nice and the menu had a great selection for a cafe. Not very often i give a place 10/10 but i have to say this Turquoise café certainly deserves that title.

Muzzy’s makes the best omelettes in town, with a great team of staff as well. It’s served with a nice side of coleslaw which is well packed with veg and flavoursome seeds. That goes nicely with a nice cup of coffee, which is made from actual beans - quite refreshing. Small piece of brownie that usually comes with the coffee makes it miles better. Bottom of the line is, if you are after a nutritious breakfast or brunch, this is absolutely the place to be.

There was a lovely atmosphere in this cafe and both the coffee and the food were delicious. Good choice on the menu and great value All of the staff were friendly and Scarlett very helpful.

Visited with disabled mum using mobility scooter and aunt using mobility rollator . Managed to get a seat out side so could pull mobility scooter up close to where we were sitting .There is a large opening at at the front and there's one step into the cafe and room to get through the tables to the serving area and if we had have sat inside there would have been room for the mobility rollator/walker too. We were served at our table by a young man and lady who were both polite an attentive. The chairs were not suitable for one of our party due to mobility problems and I switched it with another from inside which was more suitable . The table was slightly too small for the plates which were very nice but due to oblong shape 3 were a-little tight on the tiny table. We all ordered a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and individual requirements like no butter or dressing on salads we're happily sorted by staff .The sandwich was delicious just by adding little touches like nice thick crusty bread seeds and sweet corn on the salad made an everyday dish a-little different . The coffee was lovely too we didn't feel rushed as we sat and chatted . Loughbrough was busy as it was a market day and so many places are not accessible for the disabled it was just nice to sit and chat . The board outside had a Greek term written on it (see photo ) this totally sums up the impression I got from the place I don't visit loughbrough that often but would defiantly go back .Thanks (Cannot comment on access to toilet as didn't use it )

Had gorgeous Greek salad, fresh and delicious. Sandwich also excellent quality and great service. Delighted with our lunch choice.

One of my favourite cafés in Loughborough! Friendly staff, the snickers milkshake and the smoothie were both very nice(will definitely return to try different flavours). Clean and a relaxed atmosphere, would 100% recommend. Only critique would be the use of plastic straws

Without doubt this is the best cafe in the centre of Loughborough. Coffee, chocolate, breakfast, sandwiches, they're all superb. We've tried most things on the menu and it has always been first class. Friendly atmosphere and great service. Excellent prices and discounts for seniors.

Stopped here for breakfast, friendly staff. Good selection of dishes for all meals. We had a full English, good sized portions. Finished off with a nice cup of Turkish tea! Good value for money .

Love this cafe... staff are excellent, food is great value and great quality. Recommend the cheese on toast, french toast especially! Hot drinks are good too, tea pots are generous and keep nice and hot!

bright cheerful friendly place. i had turkish breakfast. 1 step at entrance and 1 step to toilet which was very clean. definate for return visit.

We have had a couple of fabulous breakfasts - delicious and great value of money. Standout dishes were the full English and the 3 egg omelette. Great coffee and good to try Turkish tea. Friendly, efficient service well worth a visit.
