music room in South Lanarkshire

We last visited The Music Room 5 years ago for a light lunch and decided to revisit the other day because we enjoyed ourselves the last time. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Alison or SuperAlly as we quickly realised. She was managing to run the bar very efficiently and make lunches in between. 👏 My wife had chips and a chicken and cheese toastie. I had home made lentil soup and a roll. Couldn’t believe it was only £2 for mine, it was lovely. We will certainly go back to The Music Room the next time we’re in Larkhall 👍

Was in music room for a drink with family and friend and owner Gordon very aggressive towards customers pointing finger in customers face not a good place to be for a drink at the weekend stay away from this place

Popped in for lunch and a pint, great service, very friendly staff and the food was excellent, as big Arny says, I will be back, Very clean pub with a good atmosphere and a stones throw from the railway station

This is a place my gran used to go to for lunch. We have eaten here in passing twice. It’s just typical pub food, nothing out of the ordinary on the menu. It always smells amazing when you walk in though, homemade soup and steak pie always being served too. This is not somewhere I would choose to eat normally but my wife is a plain eater and likes this type of food so we compromise.

I was hit with a broom off the bar staff, then told I had a fat head off another member of staff. I wont sleep tonight

We were recommended by a few people to try the Music Room when we were visiting Larkhall. They said the price of drink was reasonable and the food was good. How right they were! The staff were super friendly as well and it was no bother for them to phone a taxi for us as well after we had eaten. We will certainly visit the Music Room again the next time we visit Larkhall.

Live this place. Food is amazing people are so friendly and there is something for everyone. A variety of drinks available too kids menu is great and adult even better

Went for birthday lunch had good food & it came quick & was beautiful have eaten here a few times & always been good

Traditional home cooked food,you will not be disappointed! Huge combo for 2 people,followed with lasagna and steak and sausage pie! I love this place! Friendly staff.

Went in for a lunch and will not be back staff were not nice , food was cold wish it had never changed owners

Nipped in for a wee meal when in the area. Chicken balmoral, steak pie and a kids macaroni. Also had prawn cocktail and battered mushrooms for starters. Friendly staff and no complaints about the food. Have been here before and will be back again.

I always enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere in this local pub. The staff are great to get on with and have good witty banter. It's ideal for a pub lunch and a drink out-of 10 I'll give the Music Room an 8. Hope.you enjoy your food should you visit.

Great place to eat lunch or have dinner and few drinks ..staff are friendly and not too noisy when busy .

Today I visited the music room bought chicken tikka which was sour never ate foodwhen I paid for meals I mentioned to staff that food was off.did not want or ask for refund as i did not want to cause a fuss.and the staff give you a look as if you are to blame.Been before on a few occasions was never great but was always ok but sorry until staff are given some customer service training we will not be back

first time visited yes defiantly be the last time overall service poor staff didn't appear happy in their job !!! food was fish and chips something out of the freezer shop no napkins . Place wasn't to clean ......

We have been eating and drinking in the music room for more than ten years now. The food is always delicious and the portions are large. Our daughter is always made tonfeel beeu welcome and loces getting to make jer own ice cream sundae. Staff are welcoming and service is excellent. Prices are so reasonable for what you get. We will reurn time and time again. One little thing that would make our visits easier is being able to pay by card :-)

Visited this place for a pub lunch yesterday 13th July and was blown away by the excellent value for money.The food was brilliant, I had a lentil soup and steak pie and mash for less than a tenner!The staff are all very friendly and cheerful, I'll definitely be back.

great prices and a lots of choices ,family run pub ,you could get a different meal every day for a month or more, quick service from the cheery bar staff

The staff, food and atmosphere are great in this pub. Meals are very large portions for about £6.00 per head for a main course. Children are made very welcome as is everybody. Kids menu is really good too.

We had a lovely lunch...ladies from Aqua fit....good pub grub..very friendly staff ,very festive atmosphere and could stay as long as we wanted..enjoyed it very much,for the 4th year I might add

Terrific wee pub on main thoroughfare of Larkhall.Great lunches and special deals if you're a pensioner. Terrific for Saturday or Sunday lunches.The Cullen family who run it take pride in ensuring your meal is freshly prepared and great value.

cant believe bad comments have always found it very good owners and staff greatgreat value and always excellent service

70 ur old disabled mum and my sister go in every thur for 10 plus yrs, they take teenage twins in for treat before going back to school, no service as all they wanted was a drink and pudding! Which incidentally cost more than the meal, licensing laws , what a joke, needless to say they won't be back

I have been here many times for a meal with friends and family, the service is always excellent and the food is delicious and if you don't want to leave they have various entertainment on at night.

Was in the music room the other day the food is terrible better off buying a frozen meal from farm foods plus the prices are shockingly high

Visit the Music Room, good value and fresh food and lots of taste, my sister and I had. The seniors menu soup, selection of main courses and ice cream to finish, lovely, is popular, as there were several tables reserved, lots of parking available at the park and ride car park.

Usually wander down on a Thursday night for few "Refreshments" and to play in the pub quiz.Pub has a nice friendly atmosphere, and nice cold lager :-)

Attend cat show at leisure centre once a year and have to say the staff in this place are very helpful and friendly. Lovely lunch and will certainly return.

I was on the train and I heard people raving about the food in this pub so I had to try it for myself. I'm so glad that I did! The food was delicious. It was so fresh and the staff were really nice and friendly. I have told everyone about this place because it is so tasty and reasonably priced.

Excellent choice for Sunday lunch. great value 2 & 3 course menus as well as a la carte.
