Everything was so well-thought out in this gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent, the presentation of each dish was so clever and creative, and the team was knowledgeable and unstuffy. All in all, a real delight.

One of the best 1-mich meals I've had in a while, and very unique. Starting with the gorgeous tiny Victoria mews house and cosy ground floor bar area for pre-prandials (we had a lot...), I loved the intimacy of the place. The restaurant itself is tiny - I hadn't realised it's only 23 covers, but it makes it a very special experience. Particularly with Tom actively involved. Full tasting menu and wine pairing recommended.

A pretty very hidden little gem of a restaurant. Look for the doormat! Nice decor and fairly comfortable seating. Food well prepared & presented although very small in size. Don’t bother with the extra £35!langoustine course. Lucky if you get 3 mouthfuls. Service good although hard to hear the commentary they spoke so fast and quietly. Wine pairing really poor in my opinion. Wines nothing special with very small 100ml pours. One large glass bigger than the whole wine pairing put together. Nice touches around the food with pop up menus etc, but was not as good as I expected I’m afraid. Would not return.

Wow wow wow Key board warriors step aside! This has to be a 2 star right? Where in London do you get one of our most talented British Chefs that cooks for you at your table! Can’t speak high enough, this guys is a god and should be given a MBE OBE and Knighthood for services to culinary greatness and flying the uk British food map! A fabulous dining experience, the 10 course taster menu was packed with flavour bombs. As you would expect from a top-end restaurant the innovative dishes were ably adjusted to my need to avoid dairy and gluten without spoiling the experience at all, something others fail to accomplish. We were fortunate that we have a large corner booth, others at the tables for two didn't seem so comfortable and definitely lack table top space

Nice restaurant but very small tables are not far from touching each other. If is noisy its not a nice place to be.

Let’s start with the positive, the food, which to be honest is why you visit restaurants, was overall good with some expectational dishes. The 10 course tasting was both delicious, innovative, using some of our favourite ingredients from around the UK. The langoustine has to be our favourite and loved their take on the classic prawn on toast. Sadly that’s where the positive ends. The restaurant is within a traditional muse, so small and compact, which made for a very chaotic evening. The seating has to be some of the worst we have had to endure, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. How can you seat a party of 4 with the table coming right up to your chest is beyond us. The place is very warm, so beware. We also felt ignored by the front of house staff, who frankly let us down with their slow, chaotic and sometime ignored service. We noticed the party of 5 at the next table appear to have the attention you come to expect from a Michelin star restaurants. We had to ask the staff twice if they would bring our pairing after the dish was serviced, after our first pairing was service 15 mins before. The sommelier lack the knowledge and rush her explanation of the wine, and failed to give any reason why it was paired with the dish. This is sommelier 101. At the end of the evening the guests are given a small care package. We were given one per couple after seeing that same party of 5 given one each. All guests should be treated equally. Sadly the poor experience, mean I had given it only 2 stars and sits at the bottom of the list of 12 Michelin restaurants we have visited in 2023.

Really exceptional food, the most astonishing attention to detail. High-end dining with best of British flavours and modern takes on classic combinations. I'm surprised this place has just the one star.

Had a lovely night here. We were seated at bar on 1st floor with great view of kitchen. Amazingly organised and tidy despite being small. Staff great and friendly, food delicious and different. I have never had parsnip as a dessert before and loved it! Take home box of goodies was a lovely touch and the Portuguese tart in it was best ever! Pleased we booked and loved it.

Small intimate restaurant with exceptional quality food and service. We visited for a friends birthday and sat upstairs at the counter. The staff and chefs were so attentive and produced stunning food. The 6-course tasting with wine flight is perfect for lunch.

Muse is a fabulous dining experience, with about 10 creative and delicious courses that are all inspired by the chef's personal experiences. The restaurant is small and cozy, with only a few tables and a small bar area. Service was top-tier, and we really enjoyed our dinner here.

Tucked away in a residential street just behind Buckingham Palace, Muse is an intimate restaurant that delivers on all levels. We were lucky to sit at the counter and were able to watch the team of chefs skillfully prepare each dish, Each course of the tasting menu is derived from Toms childhood memories. All courses were excellent with the absolute standouts being the scallop with truffle and broccoli as well as the duck with cherry. Both dishes carefully prepared on the BBQ in the small kitchen. We opted for the wine pairing which offered some unusual wines which is always a real plus and offered good value. Otherwise the wine list has a good choice to suit most budgets and offers some less well known wines from around the world. Service is superb. Warm and friendly and always attentive - amazing considering the space they have to work in, with a number of the dishes being served by the chefs themselves. As the dining room is small, it has a good ambience and this adds to the overall experience. To sum up, Muse should definitely be on your list, especially if you want a more intimate dining experience.

Muse has the perfect combination of food, atmosphere, and staff. The food was a mix of combos you'd love, such as duck and cherry. And then other courses that were out there and a bit different, like peach and beans for a middle of the tasting course, which as you'd expect in a place like this worked so well it really took your breath away how good it was. I have eaten approximately a billion scollops and Muse had a standout scollop course, scollop, broccoli and just a small amount of truffle that did not over power it at all. I can’t fault it. The decor feels like entering a different world, lots of stone, but rounded and friendly. The staff were absolutely fantastic, sometimes in restaurants you feel like you’ve been placed on a machine and someone has pressed play, however here the staff here were extremely friendly and I really appreciate that. The plot of the menu was sort of friendly sea side childhood nostalgia - the interior and the delightful attitude of the staff all played into that so well. My one request would be, and I’m not going to classify this as a criticism, but just a request, would be more non-alcoholic options. Perhaps some zero percent beers, or even a 0% sparkling wine (if it’s possible to find a rare good one). I can’t recommend Muse enough, it’s a special gem of a restaurant that you do not get very often. The food is great, but you’ll go away and remember it too, it won’t fade into other places.

Really love the ambiance and the attention to detail. This is clearly a Michelin Star experience. Unfortunately the actual food, specially the seafood courses were too "fish forward" for our liking. That takes nothing away from the quality of the food itself, just not our thing. The service was something we've missed since the pandemic. Personal, with the right amount of focus. Never overbearing. So it was a like for the food, love for the experience.

This is one of the very best restaurant experiences we have ever had in London. The food, service and ambience were excellent from start to finish. What is unique in our experience is the creation of an intimate and very relaxed space, serving exquisite food. The kitchen ( without Tom Aikens there !) was outstanding , acting also partly as expert servers, and the head waiter and Julian , somellier, were superb. They also dealt painstakingly with my and my daughter's dietary requirements. We had the 10 course tasting menu at lunch. Each course was expertly explained, extraordinarily delicious and served with grace. With many fine dining restaurants becoming almost homogeneous, this restaurant stands out for all the right reasons. Whilst expensive, it is worth every penny and we'll return soon. I cannot recommend it and its staff highly enough.

A long planned visit to Muse and we were not disappointed. The intimate setting and the personal stories behind each dish makes this an unforgettable and unique experience. I would also add that allergies are extremely well catered for. The homemade bread was probably the best I have had and the other courses did not disappoint and were well complimented by the wine flight. We will definitely come back.

Service was excellent. The ambience was great - the place was cosy and personal. Food was creative but we felt some of the main courses could be slightly larger.

This is a very personal experience and all the better for it. The presentation in every respect is given considerable thought. The food is interesting and of the highest quality. We have used Muse lunchtimes only , I am not too sure if it is an evening venue , I guess we will have to find out one day ! In the meantime go for the intimacy and experience , you will not be disappointed.

Excellent evening. Well paced service with delicious food. The small number of diners makes it a unique experience. Tom was there cooking and serving. The food was £155 per person and we chose reasonably priced wines with drinks before and our total bill was £220 per person , so don’t be put off by the review earlier at £700 for 2.
