I visited here with a friend recently ,all i can say is .what a incredible bar /restaurant. Frome the moment you walk through the door the vibe is relaxed and the interior is incredible with its rooftop level and outside orangery with retracting roof in summer is awesome.The bar has a great choice of alcholic and non -alchoholic drinks and the cocktail list is immense .The food menu is exotic and the choices of dishes always cooled to perfection, In all muse is a great venue for a family meal ,couple meal or even just a drink. Part of the muse complex is the ANNEX which is a private function venue available for private hire which really does have the wow factor .In summary the friendly staff amd managment combined with the beautifull tasty food amd interior design is a credit to saddleworth .recommended .

The place to go for a really great cocktail . Fresh / Eastern/ fusion food on the menu, sushi available , menu not too vast so found is easy to pick instead of trawling through pages and pages.Background house music playing . Young atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible.

Recommend crispy beef, it was lovely, also the honey chicken skewers, 50% off on Thursday's was also good for watching the pennies.

Door man are useless aggressive and have no information about what drinks are available. Won't try or come again.

What a fun experience! Everything from the music to the customer service and food - delightful! This is a quaint little village that packs a punch. I really really enjoyed everything about Muse from the atmosphere to the food to the customer service. As Arnold once said « I’ll be back « I absolutely loved the steak and it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking at trying this space.

Great food, but bar staff don’t serve in order you come to the bar.

Really enjoyed it! Brilliant menu options, with tons of different and intriguing dishes spoiled for choice! Me and my girlfriend are looking for date night places and this definitely wins 😄 plus on Thursday they have a special offer on food! We had the hosin duck loaded fries with belly pork and halluomi with sticky rice 🍚 Would visit again!

Staff are fantastic. Food was very good and large portions. Like the fact you can see the chefs at work in an open kitchen. We came for fathers day and they had specials on for the occasion. We had a choice of so many nice starters and every one of them delicious. I chose Sunday roast for my main and can honestly say its one of the nicest I've had in a long time. Beef was cooked to perfection and yorkshire puds were spot on. Will definitely be back. Compliments to the chefs and staff for a lovely afternoon.

Disappointing, questionable cliental.

Service was great. But the food was a huge disappointment. I’ve eaten here before and it’s always been great but don’t bother ordering the tuna melt you’ll get a better one from Tesco at 1/4 of the price. £10 for a thin spread of tuna, mostly cheese on a hardly cooked baguette.. just not the one.

My wife and I had lunch there today for the first time. The experience was excellent , the food and atmosphere were first class and front of house Smiffy made it extra special. Highly recommended.

Cannot fault this place, we love it. Great food, atmosphere and staff.

This was our first time at Muse and really enjoyed our meal.I had the Korean chicken and my wife had the duck and they were both excellent. Add that to the friendly staff. We will be going back.

Group of twelve people celebrating 🍾 a milestone birthday. Peoper looked after by the waiting on staff, nothing was too much trouble, lovely food, great atmosphere, nice background music. Would dine at Muse again.

Spot on food and lovely staff helped us out when the wrong item came and replaced with the main we ordered within minutes, will be back

Booked here for 7 for Boxing Day x booked easily… great warm welcome, service was perfect, food was amazing! All had different, including kids meal that still filled our 10 year old x burgers were amazing! Can’t fault it! Will defo be back x

Brilliant food and hospitality at Muse Uppermill bar/restaurant.

Not from the area, but came here for food after doing the Santa dash. Booked for 7 people, got a lovely table, lovely food and drink. Quick service, and friendly staff! 'Smithy' served us and was brilliant. Probably won't be in the area again, but if I am, I will definitely be coming back here!

Great place and amazing old soul music being played but spoilt as the red wine was stone cold ! Served in nice glasses serving staff very good too but please red wine needs to be room temperature not chilled !

We came in a few months ago for a girly meet up. The food, drinks and service was fantastic. We were throwing a baby shower for our friend that was with us and she asked if we could arrange it for there. The managers were super helpful with information. On the day the manager in charge was super helpful, and the buffet was delicious! Nothing was too much trouble with the manager checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Staff and chefs an asset to the business, the atmosphere is great in there too. The guests loved it and had a lovely time. Would definitely visit for food or have an event there again. Thank you Muse!

Ridiculously good. Great service, fantastic food, really good sized portions. Nothing not to like, plus with it being Thursday special deal value for money is incredible.

Literally the most amazing food! First visit and can’t wait to return, the salt and pepper halloumi was to die for!

Had Sunday lunch with the family was disappointed with the beef roast as it was tough the roast potatoes were hard ,mash and veg were ok, the venue was quite nice but no parking nearby unless very lucky.

Food was exceptional. I had korean chicken served ona sweet waffle, bulgogi beef tacos, chili garlic tenderstem broccoli. Great portion sizes, and brilliant presentation. A member of our party had a steak which was cooked to perfection. Service was on point, attentive but not all overly pressured. Reasonably priced, and great atmosphere on a Saturday night.

Check your contactless transactions. Was charged £40.50 for the first round then they tried to charge me £52.60 for the second round but with one drink less. Manager got involved and was very rude. Asked me what I think I should be paying and offered no apology at all!!

Half price Thursday, what's not to like . Fab food , cocktails , service and atmosphere . Definitely be going there again .

I had the crispy chilli beef, which was served with noodles, it was very filling and great tasting. The place has a modern and trendy atmosphere, the restaurant is contemporary. All the food I saw looked great. The staff were attentive and friendly, I will definitely go again!

Love this place but really let me down this time had a starter and Sunday roast was proper let down the lamb was just all fat my missis had the beef really dry the mash was lumpy Gravy was like water and tasteless the roast potatoes was hard im annoyed I spent what I spent and all they offered me was a free desert I go quite often and the other food is bang on don’t know if it was a bad day or what but 50 pound lighter and feel hard done to for it

Food was poor lamb chewy and fatty all 3 of us had icky stomach must be the oil for the chips. Sorry never written a poor review before won’t be dining here again

We like this place and have dined there on a number of occasions. Our NYE dinner was not the best. Let down by an under cooked piece of lamb. A real shame. The chef had one job!

Nicer than expected. I thought it was going to be a loud young person's pub but turned out to be a mix of ages and music was at a sensible level so it was possible to hold a conversation easily.

Very nice venue, clean with polite staff. Had the salt and pepper chips starter which was more than I expected followed by the moving mountains burger. Thank you enjoyed my first visit will return with the family

This place is buzzing. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere and a cracking selection of beers, wines and spirits. Right in the centre of Uppermill and a short (ish) walk from Greenfield station, you Manchester and Huddersfield folks need to treat yourselves to a visit. I recommend this place for any groups of friends or families who want a decent get together in gorgeous surroundings. You won’t be disappointed.

Bit busy and noisey, food was nice, good atmosphere.

The booths were a great way to contain our four children. Food was swift and high quality.

Sushi !! one tiny piece of prawn and one piece of cucumber £10.00. Really tastless and poor in every way. The only reason they got three stars instead of one was because my sons Katsu Chicken was a good size portion and tasty. Definitely stay away from the Sushi though.

Went for a Father’s Day treat. Had a set menu priced at £27.50 for two courses. Starters were a choice of fried things or soup. The service started well and starters arrived quickly with drinks. Then everything went downhill. Our mains arrived 1hr after reminding them. We weren’t offered dessert (not that I would pay extra with the poor service) then we asked for the bill twice by two different waitresses and in the end we decided to walk out! We were soon given attention then. POOR show. Won’t be returning

My first visit was on a busy Mother's Day. I was really impressed with the friendly welcome and service. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this restaurant, even on the busiest days of the year! 👍

We had a lovely night out. We had a bunch of small dishes and was slot cheaper than we expected

Definitely on the more expensive side, went for a friends birthday and the venue is gorgeous, food is delicious, nice cocktails. Had a bit of a rough group in there at the same time as us, not letting it change the rating but they should have probably been sent on their way, loud and clearly had too many, changed the vibe completely. Sat indoors but i could see a really nice outdoor seating area, will probably request to sit there next time i go.

The staff were friendly but very professional. The food was amazing, not a single complaint re the starters or main courses. However, it was obvious the cheesecake wasn't made on the premises. Very basic, not very nice. Despite this, I would recommend Muse to anyone if they want a friendly atmosphere, excellent food and highly attentive staff. The kitchen was spotless and very well run.....total organisation.

A tad on the expensive side for food! The Thursday deals are well worth it though. The Katsu Chicken is sooo good but never enough sauce!

Amazing food, quality atmosphere and the staff were great 👍

The food was ok, service was very poor. Sat us in a cold room when tables were available in the other room and were sat next to a party with screaming children. Were not offered a drinks menu nor did they take the food menus once our order was taken. Food took a long time between courses to come out, with the main course taking an hour to come out after the starter. Asked the waitress where our food was and said it was being plated up for it to take another 15 minutes. Were asked if we wanted sauces to which we replied yes, mayo please, this never came. Nobody came over to ask how our meals were throughout our time there or asked if we wanted anymore drinks. Staff seemed very incompetent often on phones or stood talking. Had to sit with coats on while eating meals, not a particularly enjoyable experience. The service really let us down, to pay £50+ for a disappointing meal is disgraceful. Will not be returning.

Not for me, the food is good ,the service is good,prices are competitive. Just music to loud for me, in general everybody is shouting to be heard. More for the younger end.

The food was decent though it did take a while to come out. However the staff need to learn some basic customer service skills.

Me and the misses went here on Saturday night for something different. The food was great, a really good unique mix! The drinks were good as well. One thing they didn’t have which I thought was weird, was they only have small bottles of sparkling water. It would be good if you got a 75cl bottle too for sharing to go along side our normal drinks. The guy serving us kept forgetting about things we’d asked for but you could tell it was really busy and I know the hospitality industry is short of staff so we didn’t mind. If anything we all made a joke about it and laughed it off and the guy knew we weren’t stressing so hopefully it made his shift a little easier Fingers crossed it will get back to normal for the staff soon! It’s a great place to go to! Just a note, it can get really busy so you need to book in advance. Cheers 🍻

This place very much depends when you go and who's there. Can be chav tastic with wannabe Holly Oak come insta influences. But worse because they are from Oldham and have thick forearms. It's a nice place. A touch of Manchester in uppermill if that's your thing. A place to get cocktails and whatnot

Lovely restaurant in uppermill. Food was really lovely and cocktails were good too ! The only downside is that when we went they had ran out of a few things, sushi, corona etc. Would definitely come again otherwise !
