Munchies Fish & Chips in Hillingdon

We got a chicken doner and a fish from yours shop and the chicken was really bad it tastes like it’s been out for 5 days and the fish salts to much and not fully cooked

I ordered 1 chips and 2 cod. They gave me 2 chips, when I got home I realized and when I went back to try and get them to change the order because the younger staff member got the order wrong they said I was lying and then just ignored me. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Got a kebab and chips. Gave me a small portion and the salad was only lettuce and red cabbage. No cucumber or tomatoes. Tight on the sauce even though I asked for lots. £8.50 it's a joke don't go here. Was cold and tasted funny. Used euro kebab further down instead.

Did they really just sent me a sausage that’s so burnt I can use it as coal , see pics attached

I’ve been going to this Chip shop for so many years unbelievable what I have noticed recently when you ask for a large, they will give you a small and charge you for the large and the prices are ridiculous won’t be seeing me any time soon service is getting worse by the day what makes it even sad they don’t even reply to peoples reviews

Food is over priced and basic. They have the cheek to charge 50p for a squirt of sauce from a bottle. The staff are rude and untidy and dirty. Touching everything from money to your food and not washing hands.

Do not buy any food from this outfit. We ordered and collected in the shop, portions of fish and chips and The chips were stale, the fish batter is rubbish, complete an utter waste of time & money steer clear from this shop!!!!!

Horrible. I've had hundreds of fish and chips, this ought to be the worst. Also, the meat is halal. With no signs, extremely misleading, unprofessional and I think illegal. Save your money.

Always loved this restaurant especially the ribs and chips which are to die for. Great service as well. I tried several times to order through Deliveroo, however, I found out that they are only on Uber. The portions are quite big as well!

Absolutely disgusting. They literally just had stone cold chips and put them back in the fryer to reheat and they taste disgusting, and just threw them in the bin. Stay away from disgusting chips shop!!!

Ordered fish n chips, fish was ok but chips were like eating thick Crisps well even worse! they were very Dry, it seemed they refried the chips again and again which is so Bad!! , I did call to inform them and they said it’s the potato’s were to blame not them Will not be ordering again !! If you want to break a few teeth or very high cholesterol then please order from them

Chips are so dry, worst I’ve ever tasted. Complained but Guy over phone was rude. Server was crafty I said I wanted sauce on the side of the chips, he said he will put it separately and I got charged for it??? Do not come here, you can see by other reviews which I didn’t check before I went here.go somewhere else trust me.

Spent £22 on two portion of fish and chips. Fish was good but chips were wasting of money.

I went to get fish and chips to go for dinner for myself and my son. Very expensive, he charged me £12 for a fish and chips I cut the fish into pieces. When I went out I tried it and the fish was bad, I went back in and told him that the fish smelled really bad, apart from that it didn't taste good, I told him to change it and after fighting with the man for a long time someone changed it for me with a bad attitude . He put me the whole fish without cutting or anything. A shame I won't come back anymore

The quality of food is really good as always, however they have put their prices well above the inflation. A fish and chips will cost you £11.00 which can rapidly add up when you want more than one potions.

I haven't been there two days a go. I don't know who is going there not me. I drop my friend like a few weeks a go she went in she got her food and she comes. Not crowded and fast services she didn't take a long. I don't know them well personally. I give 4star it's not a class place it's normal corner chicken shop.

friendly staff, and they can do great crispy chips here ! As well as fish and chips, they do up to whole cooked chickens, and there are both chicken and lamb doner kebabs available too. There is limited seating to eat in, and the nearest bicycle racks are on the corner of the block outside the tyre shop.

Clean, tidy, fast service, good food

Been a regular for last 15-20 years. Food has always been amazing especially with the previous owners. I have had a terrible time getting takeaway with these guys. First time order a doner kebab and the meat just wasn’t cooked properly which we put down to bring too busy. Second time ordered a curry roll. Took it all the way home and it stunk like it had been sitting there for days. The smell was so bad even our dog refused to eat it and he eats everything! Be careful with this takeaway! It’s not worth the money, time, energy or effort. If you want a great chippy, GRANTS on Harlington Road is probably the best I have ever come across!

Used to be a regular over 20 years on and off. Prices are now a rip off for fish and chips and charging excessively for delivery. Sorry won't be going again. Plenty of better quality and reasonably priced chip shops around. They have a joker in charge at the moment who think they can rip off customers...

I am your regular customer.. I have been very disappointed with food.. ordered large doner but when I got home it's was small size.. paid £19. If could give them 0 rating I would give that.. will NOT return for sure!!! Warning YOU.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! ITS VERY EXPENSIVE..

Lovely fish and chip shop that actually sells everything - pizzas, kebabs, chicken and pies! Very friendly staff and there is a wide variety of fish. Reasonably priced tpo. The large portion of chips is huge 2 portions is enough for up to 5 people!

Good food BUT very disappointed that they charge £1.00 to put a bit of onions when asked for ribs. £1.00 can buy 2/3 onions. There are no signs stating this nor does the person mention it before. It hits you at the end when you pay. That's ridiculous.

I really enjoy the food here. Mother in law makes us get her kebab from here everytime she comes to our house. My kids enjoy it. Wide variety of food. Something for everyone. They don't have a card machine but I've not been to a proper fish and chip shop that uses them.

Bern coming here for the last 20 years, simply the best donner kebab in town . Love it and the best chilli sauce too.

We have been coming to this place for 2 years and has always been great. However we placed an order for delivery and it was over an hour late! I had to call twice to see where our order was and we were offered nothing in the way of a refund or anything as a sorry! Definitely will not be going there again. Such a shame.

Absolutely disgusting! Spent £15 on a large fish... when you take the batter away there barely anything there.... then the large chips tasted like they'd been sat in water for days where they havent been busy but cant afford to waste such s**t food! Please guys don't bother wasting your money, you'll only be disappointed & still starving hungry. As much as I didn't wanna cook, I'd rather cook every day than eat any of the takeaways around this s***hole area!!

The chips was good. Only there pizza is not vegetarian because they don't use vegetarian cheese and they have it as vegetarian option.

Hit and miss sometimes good but I had pink chicken out of there twice I had to throw it away and once I got my money back and pizzas are not too good either as I asked for a meat feast and got pineapple on my pizza

I have not been to this establishment in ~6 months and only went back because I thought I had dramatised how bad the service here is. Let me list my grievances: 1.they do not have a card machine (I believe they think we live in prehistoric times or something) 2.if you do not call ahead to place your order it can take upto 45mins for your food to be prepared (this has happened to me on 2 separate occasions the culprit both times being chicken nuggets) 3.the food is truly awful especially the chicken nuggets (not worth the wait guys we were actually surprised the donor meat was nice and fresh this time) 4.they will misquote your order total online forcing you to go back to the cash machine (see point 1) 5. (this is being a bit petty now) the bags for a big order do not have handles so if you chose to walk there because you live quite locally so chose not to drive as there is limited parking outside due to the shop being on a main road. In summary, do not go here even if you live on top of the shop and it's convenient - literally go anywhere else! oh and 6.they will tell you delivery is more expensive despite the fact when you go to the shop you find out you actually qualified for free delivery. Please note that some of these points have cropped up on multiple previous occasions and are not a symptom of just this one visit.

Good food but customer service I awful so bloody miserable if your not happy change your job it’ll be a 5 if the service was better. Just seen the hygiene rating I actually feel sick that I’ve eaten from here dropping from a 2 to a 1

Fresh fish and crunchy chips, nice service.

Had 2 fish and chip specials along with peas, curry sauce, gravey and cheesey chips delivered to the door.. All absolutely delicious with a very generous serving of cheese which was brilliant.. thank you guys...

Disgusting overcooked food...Food trading standards rate this at 1...out of 5....AVOID at all cost...Customer service is non existent and staff have very bad attitudes....also many of the staff used at this shop have none or little food hygiene training BE VERY CAREFUL and AVOID !!

Great pizza's and fast service! Try the Punjabi Veg Pizza with paneer and garlic.

Chip are hard. Cooked then refried, kebab meat like rubber, bought a pukka pie had mould on it, chicken nuggets hard, would not try fish, and also no score on the door shown so that is always a bad sign.
