Munchies Cafe in Southwark

Love this cafe been going there for years doesn’t matter if you are in a group or by yourself. Very friendly staff well worth a visit.

This was the first time visiting this restaurant, although I have passed it a few times in awe looking at the open bbq out on the terrace. I have to say that after eating there I can not recommend this place enough. The food is AMAZING ! We got a family BBQ platter and every single item on that plate tasted so fresh, well seasoned and authentic. The quality of the food was exceptional and trust me I eat out a lot. I must say this is one of the best platters I have ever had. I really feel that restaurants like this need more support from the community as they compete with the franchises and big money companies but are on such a higher level of customer engagement and the food can not be compared. I will definitely be making it a regular. I went with my children of various ages and they all confessed how much they enjoyed the food. Next time you are looking for somewhere to eat take my advice and go. You will not regret it!! Thank you to Hattie, the beautiful cypriot owner who gave us exceptional service and also made time to have a good chat with us which made us leave feeling like we knew her.

Went for breakfast with a group of friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and the place has a really welcoming atmosphere. Really helpful when it come to allergies and we all had some of the best breakfasts ever. The cheese omelette was 10/10! And the price is right. Definitely going back.

Where do I start, authentic meals/ ambience, excellent service among other positives. Haven't given 5 stars to an establishment ever, this one ticked all the boxes and deserved every one. If you're in Peckham, Southwark or South London for that matter, please make a point, you will not be disappointed.

Guys this cafe is amazing..i dont usually write reviews BUT this place is not only friendly but the food is awesome..definitely recommend it for all the family. Will surely be re visiting

After a rubbish stay in the flat upstairs this little cafe saved our trip and was the highlight to our days! Amazing service, food and staff. Always happy to help and accommodate every want and need. Staff also happy to help give us advice on the best way of getting around and made us feel welcome. Happy Scottish lassies 👌🏼

We had breakfast two mornings in a row in here. Good, solid cooked breakfasts with a proper mug of tea and proper thick sliced toast. And all at a great price. Three of us had fully tums for under £20 in total!
