The food from this place is not safe at all, it gave me really bad food poisoning i ended up in a&e , couldn’t even keep water down it was that bad and found out i ain’t the first, so many people have gotten ill after eating from here, clearly need to be reviewed by health and safety, absolutely disgusted. Fix up.

Little take away located at Westgate road, they have a small indoor seating facility as well. Their masala fish is too good available both grilled and deep fried. Staffs are friendly and price is very much affordable

The food is lovely and fresh from mumtaz so nice you will love everything as they have a big selection off

Si quieres ir a un restaurante de buena calidad, dale una oportunidad a este lugar Tendrás que llevar tus propios cubiertos, a menos que estés contento de comer de la manera tradicional en que lo hice. Los curry son excepcionales, al igual que los panes recién hechos.Recomiendo encarecidamente comer en o llevar. ¿Me encanta este lugar gracias de nuevo por un pollo al curry?

Worst food in the world. Fried chicken was obviously frozen and microwaved as it was too chewy. Chips were also not made fresh. Waste of money, very disappointing quality of food.

Super quick delivery and really good food for the price.

The chips were just normal chip nothing punjabi about it and the wraps didn't have any salad or sauce to make it juice but it was just dry. The only thing that was good was the pizza

Usually great food, let down by delivery time. Ordered for 9:30pm but received it far earlier at 8:30pm. Ended up eating it warm and not a pleasant experience. Shame.

The food never turned up! Waited 2 hours for the order to arrive and they went offline on just eat! I complained to just eat and they said mumtaz never received the order, even though I got the confirmation email and they changed the delivery time and stated it was delivered!! I have now had to order from somewhere else as they told the just eat rep that they won't be delivering!! Disgrace! Why couldn't they just email and say they couldn't deliver instead of just letting people wait!!

Food is good if you can get past how long it takes to get. Waiting over an hour and a half phoned and got what sounds like a teenager with a strop blaming just eat on why it was taken so long.need much better customer service or rid of the phone call taker

Driver was 45 minutes late. We realized he were sitting in the car after 3 phone calls to the restaurant. Then he finally phoned up, did not checked the address properly as were wondering where it is when he left the car. When asked why was so long he was just laughing.

2 HOURS. That's how long it took to deliver my food and it wasn't the first time that they are being ridiculously late. I literally live 2 mins away from the shop. Never ordering from this place ever again and do not... i repeat i do not recommend this plce to any one.

Again nice chicken parmesan normally comes with kebab meat but didn't this time. I ordered sauces and they sent the wrong ones.

Ordered online as they didn't answer phone. Then tried to call to get idea of deliver time as nothing after 50 mins. Still no answer and then appeared to have taken phone off hook. 2 hours later the food arrived. It is not acceptable to wait this long for food ordering just after 6pm. Sent the food away.

The takeaway is literally 5 mins away from my house so it shouldn't even take the usual 45 mins but instead it took an hour and 10 mins. It's not like I ordered a massive feast.

Ordered Marsala fish and chips for myself. Bit on the salty side but it still tasted fantastic. Will definitely order again.

Ordered a kebab & a pizza at 9.30pm. After waiting a full hour I tried to ring the restaurant but line was busy. Tried every other minute and eventually got through at 11.15pm, 1 hour and 45 mins later to be told it was on its way. I live approx 3 mins drive away from the restaurant and waited another 15 mins to come. Delivery driver apologised on behalf of the restaurant which was good but after 2 hours waiting I was expecting a bit more. I would of cancelled if i hadn't of used my card to pay for the order.

Food was late and cold. My friend specified no salad on her kebab, but it was more salad than chicken. After trying to remove the salad, there was no sauce so the dry chicken was completely inedible. Won't be going back!

The tandoori chicken leg with chips is value for money. The chicken pilau rice wasn't bad either. I say go for it and order some food.

As usual, really nice food and good service. I´m surprised to see a couple of negative reviews of this place. Never anything other than spot on for us.

Mumtaj was my favourite takeaway ever! I used to order every week. The nan wraps were fantastic all marinated in spices best I have ever tasted! Tey have changed now and you get a dry nan kebab and a tiny bit of salad and it's not at all the same! Delivery takes 1hr. 30.

We have ordered from Mumtaj several times in the last few weeks. The first time, we scheduled a delivery for 8pm, but it was delivered at 5:30pm, so they do not understand simple instructions. This last time, we ordered salad on our kebab, but did not get any. £20 for 2 kebabs with no salad, not really good enough. Quality of the food when they get it right seems pretty good, but believe you me, a kebab ain´t the same without salad. Unfortunately, we will be taking our custom elsewhere in future.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, really tasty. Delivery was good - we were just starving and ordered on a friday night so probably more impatient than usual.

I chose this place as it was the top rated in my area. Can´t grumble about the service and delivery, the driver was a nice chap and I ordered food for 1am, which was late, so it great they still delivered. The food however, was terrible. Curry was swimming in a pool of grease, the lid was soaked in grease before I even opened it. The garlic nan was poor, with almost raw bits of garlic, and the bhaji´s were so greasy. Heavy use of food colouring in the curry, I had one bit of lamb and binned the rest. Terribly disappointing, poor quality greasy food.

This must be about my 20th order with this cracking takeaway and I had my first ´problem´. The delivery lad, who was obviously very busy, forgot to leave an item on my order. I rang Mumtaj, got an instant response, they called the delivery lad while I was still on the line and he was back with the pizza and an apology within a couple of minutes. That for me is proper service. These things happen: the fact they sorted it out immediately was the main thing and tells me they are the sort of people who try their best to look after their punters. And as I´ve said in other reviews, the food is always very good. Brilliant takeaway.

The food was beautiful and came in great time. The only issues we had were that the wrap was far too soggy with sauce and was not edible in the traditional fashion. The burger was slightly damp too. Overall the food was delicious but the wrap could´ve been better.

The masala fish from here is really nice! Restaurant quality. The "mint sauce" wasn´t how I´m used to it but I guess it´s alright. Bit sweet though. Otherwise a good meal, would recommend!

delivery driver was a bit late but he got lost so it couldnt be helped. Food was steaming hot and very yummy, even my dad was impressed and hes usually very fussy. The kebab meat was in a sauce which we werent too sure of at first but we were very happy, it was delicious. the chips werent frozen chips they were proper chippy chips so a big thumbs up from us. We will definitely order from here again and would recommend it to anyone

First time I´ve used Mumtaj - I´m impressed. The food was lovely and came in good sized portions. I like a chapati with my curry and theirs are the best I´ve had from a takeaway. As for service, the order arrived on time, the food was hot (i.e. didn´t need reheating, as sometimes happens with delivered takeaways) and the delivery lad was very pleasant. I´ll definitely be using Mumtaj again.
