Mums cafe in Manchester

This place is to die for if you want a heart attack. Went today for the first time and have to say the food was awful. From arriving at the shop the customer service was shocking. My partner asked to swap a few items on his breakfast and was told he couldn't as they don't allow that but what happens if you have allergies to food they still charge you for a full breakfast even though you will be missing items from it. We recieved a very small portion of beans and tomatoes between 2 of us which I find disgusting considering the amount it cost us for two breakfasts. They charge £1 extra for an extra piece of toast on a breakfast which again I find shocking 😲. The food was just awful in itself it was very greasy, the eggs where very overcooked, the rest of it was very luke warm, the bacon was rock hard, the black pudding could have took someone's teeth out and the hash browns where greasy enough to cause a heart attack and the cup of tea was very cheaply made. You only receive a coffee or tea with a make your own breakfast which considering the price of the breakfasts you would think they would offer that as an option. Never again will we go to this place. Think they need to sort out there menus and allow you to swap stuff on a breakfast and also get some different customer service as it was shocking and the man who owned it was very arrogant when asking about changing items. Avoid at all costs. The only decent thing I could say was the guy that was serving was very polite and apologetic as he couldn't understand why they couldn't do that.

Owner very arragont tried swapping items on breakfast and got told no wanted take the 2 eggs off and 2 black pudding off for 1 sausage and 1 bacon and got half a cup of beans and 1 tomato between 2 don't get a brew with a £8 breakfast but get a brew with a create ur own £5.50 breakfast the breakfasts are full of grease eggs over cooked bacon is cold and rubbery black pudding you could use as a Frisbee the hashbrowns was an heart attack waiting to happen as was swimming in grease the brew is cheap nasty tea bag defo won't be going here again and if I was you I'd save ur money nip asda get the stuff ur self and have a decent breakfast cost £19 for 2 breakfasts 1 can 1 apple juice and 1 orange juice the pictures of the beans and tomatoes was before sharing it between the 2 breakfasts

We were lucky to get here before environmental health arrived to shut it down. The only reason we decided to stick around to eat was that we were so hungry. The place is falling apart, and the food is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe this place even exists. It's the kind of place that you'd wipe your feet on the way out.

Food was awful burn, not fresh, rubbery eggs, gritty jacket potato, soggy salad, toast was more like warm bread and floppy. First time ordering from her would never order again and a 3* hygiene rating is probably a lil generous as looking on Google the pictures show a grubby, dirty, unkempt place.

Awfully greasey food burnt bacon dirty floors just bad on all levels avoid poor cafe felt sick after eating the food waste of ten pounds

Have been a customer here for a while but its been slowly getting worse and today is the worst of all ! Ordered a special breakfast and a create your own breakfast (bacon sausage spam black pudding hash brown and Fried bread) ended up with toast egg sausage hash brown and sausage and egg butty and a bottle or orange! But thats not the worst when we phoned the cafe to sort it out hes blaming the driver saying the driver opened the sealed bag swapped the food sealed the bag back up and wrote our name on the bag telling us he cant remake the food since its not the cafes fault shocking customer service definitely will not be going back here !

Portions are laughable, cold and not fit for consumption, wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Scrambled egg was clumped up and very overcooked, beans tomatoes and toast were cold and the veggie breakfast was half a dozen overcooked mushrooms, a dry overcooked egg and a hash brown that's seen better days. Avoid !!

Worst cafe ever it’s so expensive and so small portions I paid £6.80 for 1 sausage 1 hash brown half a piece of spam and beans 1 toast and half a cup of coffee and literally 4 mushrooms 😂 thanks anyway

Great food, quick service and nice ambience. Will be visiting again soon, the best cafe around. 10/10

Pop in here a fair bit when working in this part of town, good choice of meals. The owner is super friendly and the place is spotless. The full breakfast is always a good option when eating here.

went here this morning for breakfast....the most delicious food I have eaten for a long time,everything was piping hot and presented beautifully,the produce was outstanding quality even down to the thickly cut toast....mmmmm,delicious,will be back very soon

Absolutely brilliant service, have just been for the first time and I'm sure it won't be my last. The breakfast is to die for!!!
