Great value restaurant and good food!

I booked a table at Mumbai square 5 weeks in advance in preparation for my post graduation meal. I was extremely disappointed when I arrived just before the confirmed booking time of 3pm, to be told we only had 10 minutes to place our order as the kitchen actually closes at 3pm until the early evening. This was very disruptive to a thoroughly planned family day out where we then had to hurry to find another restaurant to eat at. For future reference please update the website or make it clearer when the kitchen is closed, as currently on the website it states you are open from 12pm - 11pm Monday - Sunday. Also please refrain from confirming reservations for 3pm if that is when your kitchen is closed. I also felt as though the waiter who greeted us was extremely dismissive as he didn’t apologise for this inconvenience!

Nice Indian restaurant with super friendly staff! There were four of us and we tried different dishes: everything was very, very tasty, big praise to the chef Ali! Highly recommended!

We visited this place during the time of Ramadan. The best part of this place is the antique decor and a variety range of foods & drinks . The manager Dilder was very kind and helped to chose which curry to go for and because we wanted to order some different sorts which is beyond our palette . The waiters very friendly and informative. Little bit on the pricey side but good quality food. King prawn puree and Lamb shank was one of the best I've ever had so justifies the price tag. Would recommend for the other to come and dine here. You won't be disappointed.

Dinner at Mumbai Square was incredible. The food was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented—especially the butter chicken and lamb rogan josh. What really stood out was the service. Our server (bald, confident, and genuinely kind) made the experience seamless. He knew the menu inside out and had a great presence without being over the top. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to the next visit.

I was looking for a vegetarian option for lunch and was recommended the Paneer Naga by my server, Ash —I’m so glad I took the suggestion! The dish had just the right amount of kick and was filled with flavor, hitting all the right taste buds. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A truly wonderful experience!

It is soo frustrating when we notice that extra items are being added to our bill even when we don’t order them , on top of it they won’t respond when we ask them to check it .

The service was excellent very friendly staff and when we wanted to deep dive into more detail about the menu and certain dishes one of the managers came over and explain things in a great amount of detail and recommended some excellent dishes from the chefs favourites. Food was great but service was exceptional. Went with a group of 11 for a birthday and we all left extremely happy with how we were treated. Staff were patient, understanding and helpful. Want to give a special mention to Ash for his service, Asif for helping with last minute cake organising and manager Alim who was top notch. Would recommend.

Amazing food! Super authentic and my coworker who lived in India for 5 years even a found a dish that she NEVER finds anywhere else. And our waiter was great. My wife and I were wanting to branch out from our normal order a bit and he gave an awesome recommendation based on our usual. He nailed it! It was like having ChatGPT for my mouth lol. Bad experience here. We booked an event organised by the restaurant which they cancelled it on the day without notifying the customers. We were told that the event is cancelled when we reached there because not enough tickets were sold. No regards to customer’s time and efforts to travel there. People who couldn’t come on the day won’t get the refund and the restaurant would pocket that. We were refunded the ticket price but not the booking fees. If the restaurant cancels the event then they should take that hit and bear those booking fees. Not nice attitude of this restaurant towards its customers. Similar attitude would be applied to other aspects of the restaurant e.g. ingredient quality and how food is made. Avoid this place.

Ashraf was a wonderful host at this establishment, the staff went above and beyond to make a delicious espresso martini and even swapped out my chicken Main. A traditional, exceptional and just a lovely evening spent here. 10/10 would come back.

I went to this restaurant this evening. the staff is very friendly and offers impeccable service both in serving and recommending dishes. I often eat Indian cuisine and I must say that I have found true tradition, very good dishes cooked with passion. the bill lower than my expectations. If I return to London I will definitely eat there again. don't stop at the appearance of the restaurant, come in and enjoy real Indian cuisine in London.

Mumbai Square is not like any other Indian restaurant. The food gives a taste of home. Mumbai square has to be by far the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The waiters know what to recommend as I was asked simple questions in order to find out which curry would suit me best. If you haven’t yet, Go to Mumbai Square! Don’t forget that they also host parties and events.

I traveled from Germany to london and went mumbai square for dinner. It was a good experience.

Very large place with many tables available. In the Spitalfields neighbourhood. We visited the place for dinner. The staff are super helpful, kind and friendly. The food was excellent and the value for money was excellent. The dinner was accompanied with some very pleasant and catchy Indian music. We didn't book as we arrived almost as soon as the place opened, but on weekends I recommend booking. Congratulations to all the staff. We will for sure be back on our next trip to London.

It was a steamed Indian restaurant, and the samosas, butter chicken, and briyani were all delicious. The chai tea was also very delicious.

Hey there, My husband and I are currentky on holiday in your beautiful country, UK. We chose to go to Mumbai Square, Middlesex Square, as I wanted to tadte some authentic Indian food. We were shocked at how divine the food tasted at this awwwsum restaurant. Our waiter, Ashraf asked us what we like to eat, and drink, and advised us accordingly. Upon hearing that we like beer, he brought us this lekker Cobra Indian beer. We were kindly assisted further by Sahin, Mr Roy, Miraz, Sahin and Ershan. From our starters to mains, to desserts, to drinks, we enjoyed it thoroughly! My husband is not a fan of lamb (being Dutch), but he enjoyed it here! If you want proper Authentic, tasty Indian food, drink, and hospitality, don't hesitate, go visit this lovely restaurant! They're waiting to please you!
