Foods always fresh and piping hot, staff are helpful and polite too. Delivery is always on time and don’t even get me started on the portion sizes they’re massive!!! I’m a fussy fat girl too and they always do as I ask thanks lads. The place on a whole is brilliant the tastiest curries

Although the food was delivered in a timely manner. The food it self was tasteless and very bland. Chicken tikka was dry with hardly any seasonings. Will not order from here again

I have ordered many times from here but sadly not again..I ordered chicken madras chicken as tough as old boots and no taste! The puri bread was disgusting and thrown it in the bin! Chickpeas also no flavour or taste. Sorry but I will definitely not be ordering from you again.

Great food as always.. order from here every Saturday without doubt and not had a bad dish at all working my way through the menu best up to now is shashlik kharai.

I had to do this review quickly while it was still fresh on my mind....... First time ordering, set meal for two, poppadoms, red onions, mango chutney and mild sauce, Onion bhaji, samosas, Tikka masala, lamb Tikka naga, rice and naan..... Poppadoms fresh, crispy. Red onion's great standard, mild sauce generic run of the mill. I don't do mango chutney so I can't mention this.... Starters. Lovely Onion bhaji's! No stale microwaved messes like 90% of takeaways try sending out to people. Fresh, crisp batter but still moist onions, lovely spice mix!... Samosas!.... Just WOW! WITHOUT a doubt the best samosas I've had all year (and I eat a lot of desi and BIR food). Perfectly spiced and seasoned keema filling, with a perfectly crisp pastry! Mains. Mrs loved her Chicken Tikka Masala. I can't comment on this, as it's not my type of curry. But she said it's the nicest she's had in a long time! Lamb Naga. A really unique take on a naga base compared to other venues! A light fragrance of possibly mint to it? Slightly sweet on the tongue. And a beautiful Bangladeshi kick of naga pickle! All served with fresh salad, lemon and picked chillies. Pro's: All around the best delivery we've had in a few months. Generous portions. Best samosas I've had all year. Stunning naga base sauce. Speedy delivery l. Just all around a great experience. (Constructive) Cons: The naan bread was good. But it was a generic naan mix you can get most places. The lamb in my Naga was on the slightly chewy side. Maybe pre-cook a little low and slow to avoid this? But still edible, and the sauce made up for it. Would I order again? 100%

Food was so tasty, arrived piping hot and they kindly threw in some free poppadoms & mango chutney, the chicken tikka in my main was tender and full of flavour! Delivery time was quick and even arrived a bit early, bag was packed well (no oil leaking from curry tray) and the delivery man was happy & friendly. I think I just found my new go-to for a curry!!

Normally food would be 5 stars but the last 2 times i have ordered the rice has been a bit soggy and the sauce from curry is a bit thick

Just ordered for first time after recommendations and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, fast efficient delivery, hot food which was top notch. We ordered the chicken Tikka and Keema biryani. Will use again for sure.

Foods amazing always hot never cold, best kebabs in Middleton

Usually order from here when I fancy an Indian but tonight was awful. Rice was totally different the naan bread tasted stale and the chips weren't so tasty.

Best food ever. Always get my usual from here every week without a miss. This time I tried the kebab mix on nan and they did not disappoint :) food was delicious and the service is always the best.

I've had Mumbai kitchen now since Christmas on a regular basis when ordering India cuisine and its by far the best I've tasted.. I've not had a bad curry yet.. the owner Jay is very pleasant and the chief must take all the credit for the beautiful food.. definitely my go to curry place 😋 Chicken tikka madras and chicken tikka masala are my fave

We have ordered on a few occasions from Mumbai Kitchen and the food has always been delicious, hot and delivered on time (sometimes before the stated time). Tonight we thought we'd try something different so we ordered the curry box. There was loads of food (it filled a pizza box). There was everything in the picture plus 2 curries, 1 rice and a can drink (we haven't even touched the curry so that's tomorrow sorted too). If you like pizza and enjoy it spicy, I'd recommend the Mumbai special. The set meal for 2 has always been great, my husband especially likes the onion bharjis starters Thank you for a great service.

Tasty food at reasonable prices. We ordered last night. It's the only place I know that offers afghani style curry- I highly recommend! Only slight criticism and reason for 4/5 stars is that the lamb was very tough and chewy next time I will opt for chicken.

Not impressed at all food was with me in 30 mins from top of Langley to green st..... Only says 1 thing to me RUSHED!! LAMB=TOUGH AS OLD BOOTS! CHIPS= FAR TO MUCH SALT. NOT EVERYONE LIKES THAT MUCH SALT. 1XKING PRAWN IN CURRY = ME WELL EXITED!! BOTTLE OF COKE = STRAIGHT FROM THE PLASTIC CASE WARM!!! = PUT IN YOUR FRIDGE!!! NO MANGO /ONIONS = DRY SMASHED TO PIECES POPPADOMS!! EVEN A SMALL INDIAN BUSINESS LIKE BOARSHAW TANDOORI PUTS THIS GAFF TO BITS!!

We ordered the set menu for 2 (takeaway) and got poppadoms, starters, mains, veg side, rice and naan. Thoroughly disappointing. The meat in one of the starters and one of the mains was chewy to the point of being inedible and the rest of the meat was very dry. Both curries and the side were bland and uninteresting. The naan was ok. Nice little selection of dips with the poppadoms but unfortunately the poppadoms themselves were smashed to smithereens by the time we received them. Don't know when I've had a more disappointing Indian takeaway - can't recommend at all, I'm afraid. Very reasonably priced, but that's probably the only positive thing I can say. Clearly you get what you pay for!

Have the best experience with Mumbai Kitchen every time I have ordered, the food is always fresh and flavourful. My partner cannot eat onions and Mumbai staff went out of their way to come to the house prior to delivery, to check for allergen information- as my old number was entered when ordering. Most takeaways wouldn’t bother with this but they have the best customer service. Mumbai Kitchen will always be my go to curry place, best in Middleton/Manchester!

Ever since this place opened they have provided hot fresh and tasty food. Like the best around - everything is so nice but our go to is the Mumbai kebab box, it’s just so nice we don’t get anything else now it’s fills every need of what you want to eat. All the meat is so nice and tender tasty and the chips are fresh and crispy too. Top guys that work there too really friendly. One of the best takeaways in Middleton *****

It's good to have a place which offers so much variety, all whilst maintaining a very good quality throughout. The curries are my favourite but the kebabs are excellent when I'm feeling them, I ask mine to be extra spicy and they always take note! Yet to try the pizzas but some of the photos look 👍🏼 👌🏽

Going downhill rapidly, starting using cheaper ingredients, shame as up till a few months ago it was one of the best kebabs around

Had extra large kebab. No choice but to have it stir fried in sauce. This is because the quality of the meat is very poor, chopped into small pieces and thoroughly overcooked. If compared to the equivalent from Barbecue in Middleton - total difference in quality of product. Barbecue meat is good quality and no need to mask quality by smothering it in sauce.

Up until a few weeks ago this would have been a 5 star review as the food was consistently good. However, the last order I placed wasn’t the best. Onion Baji’s were very dry and rubbery, Chicken pakora - these were the main reason for my weekly orders, on this occasion 3 out of the 5 pieces were completely inedible, very tough. Tikka masala was nice, but again the chicken was inedible. Majority of the food was thrown away. On a plus point though, the service is good and they call you to tell you it’s ready, everything is packed well and they have an open kitchen so you can see the food being prepared, nice clean environment as well. I dare say that if I’d have called them to explain the food issues then they’d have rectified it in some way, I will try them again in the future but I’ll be having a break for the time being. *update Aug 22* I think they may have changed some of their ingredients due to rising costs, ordered a curry (this was lovely), chicken pakora although edible has a different batter now and not very nice compared to previous, the popadoms however tasted off and smelled like plastic, very off putting, onion bajis were inedible and also thrown away, such a shame as I used to really enjoy going here for food.

Absolutely fantastic the size of portions are HUGE! CHICKEN TIKKA IS MASSIVE SO TENDER AND SUCCULENT AND VERY TASTY. LAMB IS MASSIVE ASWEL AND JUST BREAKS UP MELTS IN UR MOUTH ASWEL AS LAMB CHOPS, SHEEK KEBABS ARE THE NICEST EVER! HAD TO TAKE ONE KEBAB BACK AS I ORDERED THE WRING ONE AND IMMEDIATELY THEY SWAPPED IT FOR ME FOR A CHICKEN TIKKA JALFREIZI, THE STAFF WAS GREAT EVEN LET ME KEEP THE KEBAB TOO! Have given 5* in the past. 2* tonight if that! Lamb so tough we could not chew and had to spit out! Peshwari nan so dense and doughy, it was destined for the bin. The onion bhaji was fresh and the tikka masale tasty enough. Spoiled the meal. Sorry guys will be giving you a swerve until things improve.

First time ordering. Best takeaway pizza we've had in yonks, my partner liked the kebab when she normally hates them, the donner meat is sliced just right. Lamb chops were amazing. Will order again for sure. 😊 Update December 2021 This place is still fantastic decided to order something other then kebabs and pizza, went with a Balti Rezala it's the best curry I've had in a very long time. The spices are absolutely perfect and the portion is big. Definitely going to order that again.

It started out OK. But I resently had another take out from there. The three meats I had was horrible. Lamb was pieces of pure fat, the chicken was dry very over cooked and the the other meat was horrible. Its happened twice recently. So I don't bother with it now.

Always order from here and the food islovely however from time to time just like tonight it has been later than the expected time and not just by a minute or two. It wont put me off ordering again but youd think that customers can rely on expectations that are given especially regulars
