The venue is very nice & welcoming. However the food is not to our liking and the service is very poor. It would help if they have a variety of selection of food... the drinks are vey expensive. Nevertheless, we really enjoy the live music and you can't go wrong there, it is surely good entertainment !!!

Invited to party and informed them re having 1 non spicy dish 3 months before party Spoke to manager night before part re having 1 non spicy dish for dietary requirement and was told all was set On thd day of the party staff were reminded of 1 non spicy dish at 6pm 9.30 pm after going up to staff 6 times and I got plain mogo 10.30 pm starving and weak All 150 guests fed proper starters and all I got was small plate of mogo Than 10.35 pm asked for crispy bhajiya as I was told this was mild and staff said I should have planned this before and starters have finished I said I planne this 3 months ahead and told staff at 6pm Bjajita came and was about to pass out Dinner served for all guests 11pm Only had plain rice and salad Ended up at AandE next day due to bowel disease as dr told me to report this restaurant can not cater for dietary requirements regardless of setting this 3months ago and than the night before plus at 6 pm on the day No disabled toilets No disabled parking for wheelchair user Staff can not cope with large parties and very ignorant

Also known as Blue Room is a nice venue but have been to better. Went to a birthday party and last year to a Mehndi Night and while the food was better at the birthday party it was still mediocre. This also showed inconsistency as some of the dishes were the same at the two events. If holding a big celebration would recommend that a full overhaul be done decoration wise as the carpet looks dated and not much else is going on! Mediocre overall.

We had family party and dinner on Bhai Bij. Food quality was very average and service was ok. Not great. Didn't delivered promises made while booking.

We booked this venue for a family Diwali dinner. Firstly not much ambience,felt like a 90's wedding reception,No decor and blank walls. Starters weren't bad but mains came out 2 hours later which was buffet style help yourself. Rice had run out ,customers were chasing managers in kitchen lol. Dirty plates hadn't been collected from starters. Staff were rude,unprofessional and some weren't ablecommunicate very well. Not sure if the manager was the lady at bar but she was one miserable looking human. Was 22:45pm when we left and dessert was no way in site.. We left and went elsewhere. Two air con machines but not in use and it was getting extremely hot in there. Hand driers weren't working In either of the toilets and there weren't any baby changing facilities.. This place used to be decent with previous management under 'Mumbai Garden's' didn't realise it's changed to Blue room. Most definately will never be returning in this time.

Great food great service especially Hemanshu great barman. Made our evening.he always made sure we were served correctly

20 of us had pre-booked and pre-ordered. Food arrived 45 minutes late There was a separate booking gathered in the hall next door in which we were told to keep quite as they were having a meeting. I'm sorry but we are out for dinner for which we are paying for, we were not shouting or basting our music it was just talk....very disrespectful! Along with that we had the waitress serving with her sleeves touching the food in our plates and when informed, her response was "oh it doesn't matter", ahh but it does, it matters to me, I am the customer! Very disappointed in the customer services provided, I will not be going their again any time soon.

I must admit, I may have to come here every Friday night! The entertainment is amazing and so is the food! All of the staff are very helpful and Words cannot describe the service that we got! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

Family birthday brought us to this venue, at first it seemed a little confusing, was it a private hire venue, a restaurant or a club?! We were seated down stairs in a large function room where round tables were placed. There were a fair few of us crowded around two tables so it wasn’t ideal seating but served a purpose. Food was nice, both veg and meat dishes were flavourful and of a decent quantity. My only negative would be on the quality of the meats, specifically the lamb in both mixed grills was full of gristle and hardly any meat, the kebabs were more like small chunks chopped up from one piece... a little bit of a rip off. Chilli garlic fish was great. Upstairs was pumping with music and hired out for a private function. Drinks were okay. All in all not a bad place.

Mass produced untasted food. The surroundings were uncared for & old & tatty. Really horrible place The bhajias tasted as if the oil it was fried in was old & not changed fir years. The service was dire.

We attended a dinner and dance here and it was fun! The venue is easy to find and has some off street parking. Please could the owners do something about the very uneven road and lack of lighting on the driveway up to the venue ? It's so dangerous for people walking in at night and doesn't do the car any service with the potholes everywhere. The staff are young and lively and helpful. The food is ok. Maybe a little more seasoning? In my opinion some extra time for the paneer was needed..whilst not inedible it could have been cooked longer. The decorations and general feel of the place could be updated to a fresher look. Otherwise a well hosted and fun evening. Thank you

In the january month I visited mumbai garden.i saw there are many couple siting and enjoying this garden is very well couple are very excited here. around my plant here.here you can cut your stress

Usually they have singers on every Fridays.... Singing Hindi film songs... Music is fine... Singers ok..ish

Came here last year as a senior family member had arranged a buffet lunch deal here for an annual meet up that we hold.

A sprawling venue which is popular for family events. The interior is a bit drab and dated and the outside isn't much but it is very spacious inside. The food was good but not any better than any other local Indian restaurant. However the main issue is the food is intolerabely slow especially when the place is busy with functions. There was over an hour gap between starters and mains when we went..clearly need more staff!

Family celebration went very well at Mumbai Gardens on Saturday night . The place was very busy and happily we were well looked after by attentive staff . I would recommend this venue for parties . Very children friendly too !

My family and I often visit this fine establishment and we get more and more impressed every time we go. Firstly, the food is exceptional with a huge variety for veg and non-veg options. They also take dietary restrictions into consideration. The service from the waiters is brilliant and try to make a conscious effort to remember our names, which makes it a great dinning experience. The price is more then reasonable and there is ample amounts of parking. All in all I would highly recommend this place for a lovely evening out.

Went there for aunties bday dinner. First time I had been, everyone else had been before. This place has a lot of potential of looking pretty and it looks like there might be some work going on around. Thai was not a put off in anyway what so ever. The food was delicious... I don't often go out for Asian food but I would definitely be going back here. Quality of flavours were delightful. A little spicy but I'm terrible with spice however I loved it! So so so tastyIf you are looking for tasty food then this place is a must! Please don't go with high expectations as like I mentioned it doesn't look pretty.

Went there on a family event, was the birthday of cousin they had rented out the Banqueting suite, Music was terrible, food was the same bland tasteless typical commercial type went you make it in large amount types and the Venue is seriously outdated for modern times. Could have had a better layout in the local school hall. Been to Mumbai Garden twice this year thought the first time ill give it a benefit of the doubt but second time confirmed that i was right the first time, CHEAP PLACE

I went with my family for dinner, we ordered our starters, 30 minutes went by and we spoke to the waiter asking where our food was, and ho much longer it would take, they said 10 minutes as the kitchen as busy. another 15 minutes went by and we were then told our order was lost and misplaced. We tried complaining to the Waitress, and she answered back in a rude manner, saying others have been waiting an hour and we should wait just as long. In the end our bill was incorrect (Do check they haven't over charged you). So when we went to the counter to sort it out the guy grabbed the bill out of my hand and ripped it up. Then gave us another bill and said don't come back again, under his breath as I walked away. This place is unorganised, staff are inconsiderate and absolutely mannerless ( can't even speak English). Believe me I am never going back!Save yourself some time and money.

Visited over the weekend for wedding anniversary. Large dining and dance floor.. Good food. if you want large space for the party, this is the space you would need. For summer benefit of large park just outside the dining area. Great location.

My first time at this venue when I got invited for a birthday party. I liked the venue, the food was piping hot, fresh and tasty. They brought more of you wanted. Mains were good and good choice. Lovely live music and excellent sound system. Enjoyed it

TripAdvisor need a zero! This is the worst place ever. Not even a restaurant pre cooked reheated rubbish. Which was served in breaks of 40mins so every bit was cold as ice! Salad was luke warm haha! Clearly left out! Service horrendous do not come here, even by yourself.Chef uses garlic without consideration, I could kill someone with my breath tonight! Extortionate pricing for a group, average £17 per head for cold naan and cold sides/mains which was also short supplied considering price per head. Shambles! Diabolical! See you never again! See pictures unfinished joke restaurant, can't even wipe curry off walls. Long as the cookers work, we are a restaurant mentality. Long as food eventually reaches diners, it's ok etc, no apologies, no follow ups, never ever again.

Went as the whole family ordered starter and Chinese was too oily and my girls (8 and 5) wanted tarka daal and rice but rice was undercooked and daal they confirmed was from afternoon which they heated and so on that conclusion as we are going half hungry definitely not coming back

It was a Christmas party and the resturent had lots of space so we were not all cramped .The food could be better and the service was quite ok with the volumes of people.

Attended a birthday party here. It's a convenient place for such events as there is ample parking. It's not adequately signposted which needs to be addressed. The food was fine but patrons will appreciate better decor to go with the good food. Overall, a good functional but place.

Great service great food. Buffet catered well for adults and kids. Spicy for the adults and mild for the kids. The function room was a perfect size to accomodate an indoor bouncing castle, ball pit and Soft play area. There is also ample outdoor car parking space including fields.Would highly recommend for events/parties.

I was told about this restaurant principally for live music on a Wednesday. I was a little apprehensive, having read some of the reviews here. My friend and I got there at 9 p.m. And the car park was heaving. There's a banqueting hall downstairs. Part of the car park and the lane leading up the restaurant are very dark and I felt very uncomfortable.The food was like the curate's egg. Good in parts. Service was polite and drinks and meals arrived very quickly, even though they were very busy.I went for the music and thoroughly enjoyed that.

Very mean on portions family meal ( set price ) for 17 and I swear we were given food for 9!! ex 3 small bowels of rice for 17 and had to almost beg for more.

Visited here for my aunt's birthday. It's no longer called Mumbai gardens but called blue room gardens or something. The sign from the main road still has the old business name!Decor is dated and the service wasn't great. Service seemed rushed and some of the waiters were disinterested lol. Bar was nice and served a good variety of drinks. Food wasn't good and you could do better going somewhere else. Starters were average and mains poor. They had a big event going on so the music was so loud that you couldn't even hear anything. Overall, I would not go again.For the price paid I would much rather go to Everest lounge(Harrow wealdstone), Venue 5(Eastcote) or the king of Indian restaurants Regency(Queensbury)

What an Amazing experience. We had a Last minute booking for 16 on a Sunday afternoon . They were suppose to close but assured us it would not be a problem. We had the best food I have had in a long time and the service was amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the owners were on hand at all time.We had a magic time. Thank you.

We went to Mumbai gardens first time. Beautiful location big gardens, plenty car park area. But nothing organised. Everyone had to park on green grass areas. Inside out dated decorations. Services are poor, food not tasty . Overall bad experience. Owners are new so in future it might change. Lots to do.

Very nice place to visit, food is great, staff and owners great and very accomadting. Good place to hold events and get together. Lot of parking and ther plans afoot to refurbish the place. Very big open space. Ideal for banqueting. After refurbishment hope that open for lunch, ideal place to relax and have a drinks with family and friends.

I raved about this restaurant before as it was simply amazing. Not the case now though I am afraid. Extremely disappointing and would not recommend it. Went there with family in May 2016 and there were only two other occupied tables. The starters took almost 45 minutes to come out and were disappointing. Previously the starters and all the food was excellent but now the quality and taste is in definite decline. The mains took even longer to come out and the naans were cold when served. When this was pointed out to the waiters, they very reluctantly got fresh, hot ones for us. The mains were not appetizing at all and the service was just terrible considering that the restaurant was not even full. I was picking slowly at my naan and they were so eager to clear the table that they took my plate away without even asking me if I had finished or not. When we discussed this with the Manager he did not seem concerned by our comments and did not even bother to apologize. Obviously his staff went to the same Customer Service School that he attended. Customer service was non-existent. Overall this is a restaurant that I would never recommend.

We visited Mumbai garden for 90th birthday of a cousin.The place didn't inspire you and ambience is lacking.However,all was soon forgotten due very good delicious starters,we had 6 starters,batata vada,methi na gita,spicy mogo,,lamb chops,masala fish and a chicken dish,all arrived hot and delicious.Then after meet and greet we had buffet main meal which frankly was not needed .Main meal was ok,not great.Desserts were nice too.The place needs revamping,and it is great that there is parking but that too needs to be resurfaced,however ,it is worth a visit for lovely starters,and we will certainly revisit.

The new owners have done a fantastic job of getting this place to where it is now. The food and service is brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Excellent parking and great food options, especially the starters.

This place has lost its charm. The food is now very poor lacking well everything. The service by the wait staff is abysmal. They have no enthusiasm and attracting their attention was hard work to say the least. Alas, we will not be back at this place any time soon.

Had my daughters birthday and dance party in January 2016 and the service, food was excellent. Venue is huge and enough for 100-125 group.May be one of few with ample parking in Harrow.

Seems to be more of a function venue than a restaurant, but the food was pretty good and plentiful. Best of all was the service which was very friendly and helpful. The bar prices were very fair and had free soft drinks.

We used to go to a different place for or regular friends get together. However, it shut down so tried and few other places before we discovered this place. It is now our regular haunt. The food is very good with variations available according to taste (ask for it, don't just expect it :-)). The service is good and Paresh (manager) is very attentive. We love the fact that it is quite there as we can talk without having to scream at each other over overly loud music. The costs are average for London. The decor is a little lacking but we since we are looking for good food and and service, we will stick to this place. One other point. Parking is easy and right on the doorstep. There is also a field right outside the place so summers sitting outside enjoying food and drink it great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our curry dinner at the Mumbai Gardens during which we also entertained by a musical ensemble of young enthusiastic players. A fun evening.

We were booked to play Bollywood Music for a Super heros themed Indian 01st Birthday Party. Played a range of Englsih Chart music & Bollywood Party Music. Have played at this restauant several times, food is simply superb. Baing indian myself, i appreciate real quality inidan food, highly reommended. Staff are friendly & effiicent. Perfect venue for a private function with quality Asian cuisine.

Can't fault this place. Good food. Good drinks. Good venue. Good parking. Friendly staff. Great value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Food was nice. Starter was nice as well. Tropical drinks no more varieties. & we had one glass passion fruit juice then we ask for another glass & they said they runout. Outside entrance like caves. No lights as well. They need to improve outside board & lights then people can come in otherwise everybody going further & then coming back.Desserts they do'nt have more varieties as well.

I visited this restaurant a fair few times, and I have to admit that I have never been disappointed. One of the main reason's is that the restaurant is not heaving with people, at the most there are 7-8 tables. I find that every other Indian restaurant I go to is so rammed that the quality of service deteriorates, and also you cannot enjoy a quiet or intimate meal whether your out with the whole family or with a partner or friends. Because of the small number of tables, and a handful of customers, it is much more relaxed, and feel more 'exclusive'. This has a knock-on effect with the service, as the staff are very polite and attentive, and often do give their personal recommendations. The food waiting time is spot on, you have just the right amount of time to get comfortable and conversate between your order and each course. I have to say a special thanks to the owner who is always there. He will always interact with you whether its your first time or if you are a regular, making sure that your experience is not shorter than perfect. The food is absolutely gorgeous, they have authentic Indian dishes, as well as some of their own unique styled dishes. This is one of the first Indian restaurants that I have been to that serve equally great vegetarian and non-veg. The vegetable Manchurian is a MUST HAVE, the best I have ever had. The curries are very tasty and the portions of food are very decent. The bar is great as they serve a large collection of spirits, wines, and beers. If I had any recommendations or advice to the restaurant manager, that would be to maybe serve fresh fruit juices (not from a carton) and maybe some authentic Indian beverages like fresh lassi. Also due to the very cold, wintery weather, when customers enter or leave you do get a draught of cold air every time if you are sat near the doors. Other than that, this is a great venue. If you are looking to host a private party/family function/wedding reception, this is perfect, as they have a large area to accommodate a lot of people, and large car park space.

I needed to book a table for friends from abroad. It was for a reunion. Although we had difficulty with booking (had to leave several messages before a response)the dinner was fine.The waiters were attentive. The portions were adequate and the food was very tasty.The restaurant is airy with ample parking space and open grounds.Definitely great with big groups.

Had son's school parents dinner, I would not eat here again. Food was laced with salt. Not surprised restaurant was only quarter full on Saturday night. AVOID

My family and I go to Mumbai Gardens fairly frequently, since we first discovered it and in fact this review is long overdue! My son, who lives in the US, totally loves this place and we often end up here more than once during his visits to London. The food is just amazing, whether you have vegetarian or meat or fish and they will do their utmost to cater to your personal requirements. The venue is huge and has banqueting suites available too for parties or other functions and the owner, Paresh Patel, always makes a point of interacting personally with his customers, which is a lovely touch. I also have issues with regard to what I can or cannot eat and he has always given me great advice on which dishes to try or which dishes he feels would indeed be suitable for my personal needs.For families with children, this is an excellent restaurant as it is very family and children orientated. We have been here for just dinner as well as for parties and also for special music nights and functions laid on by Mumbai Gardens themselves, some of which have had live music. I have to be honest and say that the food has never disappointed me at any time.The service is very good and the waiters and waitresses are attentive and friendly. We are almost always taken care of by Shabnam, who is very sweet and charming.If you have never been, what are you waiting for? It is tucked away on a residential street and the very first time you go, it is a little difficult to find, but do not despair and give up as if you go once, I am pretty sure you will go definitely go back for more!PS - the crunchy mushrooms and chilli paneer are to die for! We had booked this restaurant for our College reunion and host was very cooperative and flexible to meet our needs. Price was very reasonable and service was excellent. Food was also very tasty!! We will definitely go there again. Staff chicken was just like home cooked chicken.

Excellent food... Excellent ambience... Lovely service... Have been to lots of restaurants in London... Being a vegetarian myself and my husband a meat lover, never came across a perfect place to suit both our needs.. but Mumbai Gardens helped us end out search for good food and a place which does justice to vegetarians and meat lovers... Loved it...
