Booked a table for 6.45pm based on T/A reviews and the menus on their website and on arrival were shown to a lovely table near the front of the restaurant. Menus left and drinks order taken promptly. Despite many of the great dishes on the a la carte menu we were also given a special 3 course menu which at £21.95 offered great value. My wife ordered the Mushroom soup and I the smoked mackerel and potato salad which were both very good. For mains we had the salmon and the ballottine of chicken and for dessert we shared a creme caramel and chocolate mousse. Both courses were excellent. Friendly and efficient service and quality food and only wished we had found The Mulberry on our first night and not the last.

This place gets busy, so it's advisable to book. Good service and ambiance. Food is usually very good, but thought it lacked some decent seasoning this time... Flavours were too subtle. More expensive than most of the restaurants around, but usually worth it, but didn't quite hit the mark this time.

The Shipwright Inn

17/07/2019: My wife and I had dinner in this restaurant which was amazing, the staff were very helpful, the atmosphere and the service was great, and the menu was varied and the food was excellent.
27/10/2019: The Shipwright Inn was recommended to us by a local lady on the street when asking directions and advice for a good place to have lunch. She wasn’t wrong. The restaurant is a little blue corner venue on the water’s edge. The couple who run the restaurant could not have been more friendly or accommodating. The food arrived quickly and every one of our dishes was excellent (fresh, tasty, good size). Very reasonably priced and definitely recommended!

The Teifi Netpool Inn

28/09/2019: What a little gem, tucked away down a side road, next to a little park overlooking the river. The chef here really can cook ! The food is great quality and amazing value. I had ham hock terrine to start, while my husband had garlic mushrooms in a creamy sauce on toast. Both were delicious, beautifully presented and in very generous portions. For mains we had the absolutely delicious cod in welsh rarebit - yum! It is very refreshing to find somewhere that uses a bit of imagination in its menu - definitely something for everyone. The restaurant is only small, so book first. It is overseen by the warm and friendly owner, Kayla. Unfortunately I think the restaurant closes for the winter months. This place really is a hidden gem !
22/07/2019: Really nice to have stayed at this B&B.; Stayed for two nights. Brekkie was really nice. The surrounding area is also nice for walks. The owner provided us with a good insight of things to see and do locally. Would go back if in the area. Its a good new small business. We stayed in Green Family room. The beds are comfy. The only (semi) negative is that the bath is small, but we did not use as we showered.
