Muffin Break in Wirral

I went there on Saturday to buy a coffee for taking away. While I was waiting in the queue I saw the lady who was making the coffee to remove her mask while she was talking to sited customers in a distance less than one meter. Then she just covered her face with the mask and continued preparing coffees for the customers, without washing or sanitising her hands. Of course, I just left without ordering. It would be beneficial for customer's safety the staff to understand why the mask must be worn while they are speaking in a closed distance with customers or why they need to wash their hands after they touch their mask several times and before the prepare drinks or food.

Busy clean people put first because of restrictions still same good service food tasty staff lovely toilet spotless

I purchased two banana cakes slices but they didn't actually taste of banana they wasn't horrible but not what i was wanting

Been coming here since it opened. In the beginning it was fabulous. Clean, friendly staff, excellent service. Now it is filthy, the floor needs a good brush and as for the toilets! The staff behind the counter stand and talk to each other while customers wait to be served. However, I do like the coffee.

The coffee here is very good and the cakes are delightfull. It's clean and smart too. The only downside is that it can be quite crowded and noisy.

About time birkenhead had a decent coffee place apart from costa. Nice and clean and plenty of tables although it was a Monday. We had a New York wrap which was nice but at 4.25 could have come with salad or even a few crisps not just a wrap on a plate. Mum had a bacon egg cheese bagel which was nice and was warmed through on a griddle and I think it was about 3.00. Nice pot of tea too. Cakes looked nice will try them next time

I went for breakfast had a nice bacon roll & cappuccino bacon was tasty hardly any fat on quite busy & spotless

We visited during the day. It was really busy but the staff were really nice and friendly. The menu was varied and the food was fresh and really good and tasty. The coffeee was nice and the cost was fine.The premises were really clean and we will return. It was a really pleasant visit.

Lovely little place with tasty generous sized cakes! Nice coffee and friendly staff. As for it being noisy well it’s a coffee shop and they didn’t wake my girls up!

Don’t go here if you want a quiet coffee when the kids fall asleep. The staff are so loud they will wake the kids go to a quiet coffee shop...clanging cups, dropping trays every 2 mins, noisiest coffee machine, talking loud. Noisiest coffee shop I’ve been to.

Popped in for a quick coffee between meetings. Friendly service, and a good quality large coffee for £3; although a biscuit on the side would have been nice given the price tag. They do have a good members’ loyalty service, with 6th coffee free (and other incentives) that makes overall value good if a repeat customer. Would return if in the area, and they have several outlets across the country so good for meetings if in a suitable location.

Went for lunch had spinach and feta cheese type of quiche the first one was overdone after being heated in microwave the spinach was bitter and burnt the staff exchanged for another piece and it was just the same ,Sure the staff must have seen it was overdone ,Not cheap either had with crisps and salad they were ok ,

Me and my husband popped in here to kill some time, the customer service was amazing, didn’t catch the lady’s name but she was great! Glad I listened to her recommendation for a caramel mars muffin, she suggested have it warm with ice cream.... it was to die for AMAZING!!!! Such a nice atmosphere will definitely be back

My mum and I always pop in for the Amazing coffee and also the gluten free Muffins when we are in the area , the staff are lovely here at the pyramids the deputy manager is very welcoming although I have to say that they are all Amazing!!! and I also had the opportunity to chat with the National Operations Manager Michael Johnson when he was out and about doing a visit that day he was so nice and very professional helping me with all of my enquiries a credit to Muffin Break!! also giving me his business card to take away I love this coffee shop and we will not be going anywhere else Thank You all so much Muffin Break!!! :) :) :) :)

Best coffee cake ever!! With so much frosting and a beautiful coffee at the side! So much choice of muffins and cakes and wraps there's plenty of choice for everyone!! Also plenty of choices of drinks from coffee to tea to milkshakes great for the whole family!!

Visited the shop in the Grosvenor shopping centre, I can honestly say what a lovely time,the food was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and cheerful. Definitely worth a visit, very well priced, the coffee cake was the best I've had for a long time

Lovely clean establishment. Had a nice coffee in good atmosphere. Siana was a delight in the way she cheerily served us. Further she served all the next customers in the same way. 👍

Found this place in the PYRAMIDS in Birkenhead it was great nice change and the staff were great and very helpful. Muffins were fresh cooked that day in shop and a good selection of savoury snacks. A big thank you to Stephen and all the staff.

I just wanted to comment on the staff as they were extremely friendly and helpful and the salmon and asparagus tart was delicious!
