Mu Yang Chinese Restaurant in Hammersmith and Fulham

Toilet disgusting! Food is okay. The service is terrible. The waitresses are not friendly… Hired the karaoke room for a birthday in the basement , I had to keep going up to ask for stuff, awful service. ! The restaurant is not clean either.

I get that this could be a 'Marmite' place. I'm firmly in the 'Love it' category. Have been twice recently. Neither time for their rather good looking hot pot. Yes, service is a little 'strained', but I forgive them. I love the food. Generous portions of freshly cooked meat/vegetable/noodle dishes. I particularly like the Stir Fry Mixed Vegetables in Pepper Sauce. It's not a 'stand out' menu item and it's very subtle. But all those crunchy veg - delicious. I have recently revisited my 70s/80s youth and re-acquainted myself with sweet and sour - this place has the best. You don't go for the atmosphere or the service - once you have reconciled with that - enjoy - and at very reasonable prices.

We had to beg for someone to come and take our order and wehn they came they were extremley rude. We went for the hot pot the food comes fresh as a buffet but it was simply inedible avoid at all cost

I enjoyed the hot pot at Muyang. The staff were polite and friendly and it was a chilled atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were on hand and friendly to ask if we wanted more dishes for our hot pot after our first round. The spicy hot pot broth had a good flavour and not as spicy compared to other hot pot restaurants, therefore it’s good for people with a lower spice tolerance. I particularly liked the utensils given to us where we had a small netted spoon each so we could collect our food from the soup. Plus a tongs and a ladle for the broth. Good user experience.
