M&S in Dacorum

Waited 20mins was told no ham for eggs Benedict, then no bacon?? There is a food hall downstairs?? Fries turned up no wraps?? Won’t be returning food cold

Picked up a bottle of coke, clearly marked as £2.35 and took it to the till and she said £2.75 and pointed out it said £2.35 and she said maybe that was for another drink. I didn't argue and paid and walked back and checked and it clearly said £2.35 on the price label. I went back as she forgot to open the bottle(glass bottle) and asked for it to be opened and pointed out it definitely said £2.35, there was no attempt to refund me or alter the price ticket so no more people will be stitched up. It's not a fortune but on principle I was upset such a big company are scamming people. The cafe is OK but be prepared to be done over

We travelled from the north on Sunday 25th July, 2021. Decided to visit M & S Cafe (within Marlowes Shopping Centre) at Hemel Hempstead. We arrived late but the lady allowed us to have a cream tea and drinks. She was very friendly and helpful and is a credit to the M & S staff. The snacks were delicious along with good service. Thank you again.

The cafe opened at 11am today (Sunday). On the food counter were 3 pieces of cake and and 4 slices of shortbread. Two varieties of toasted sandwiches. As we were a family group we stayed and about 45 minutes after they opened they started to stock up the shelves with wearable items. Very poor and this is not the 1st time we have found this at this cafe. If you say you open at a specific time you should at least make sure you are ready to go.

Generally very good but they order in too much stock, so much produce has the yellow sticker on, nearly out of date, reduced price, the bread dept is full of it, avoid their garlic bread it is dire.

Spent the day Xmas shopping in the Marlowes and stopped off for lunch at M&S. food was great and very tasty. The shopping centre is a must , I got everything I needed and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the town. Great shops and not too busy.

We had breakfast at M & S most of the days during our visit to the UK. The restaurant is clean, the service is very good, and so is the selection of food. We will definitely have meals here again. It was actually the best restaurant for breakfast. It was located close to the hotel we stayed at - the Premier Inn

fab quick lunch, ideal for the quick shopper and the space allows you too move efficiently and make a simple purchase.

Stopped by to rest after having stayed on my feet for the shopping. The place is spacious for sitting and great to stop by for decent coffee too. I didn't try the food, so don't know what it is like as I've seen some negative reviews posted here.

M&S cafe is usually a good bet for above average food while shopping. This one is terrible. Really badly organized and they cannot even heat ready meals up properly. Waited ages. The food didn’t come together and one dish had to be sent back. You can do better

Visited here quite a few time as it's local. I am not a snob at all but considering the quality the M&S brand promote this is a distinctly below average cafe. The staff are absolutely lovely, very polite and courteous but every single time I visit the queue takes at least 15 minutes. They don't seem to have enough staff to keep the queue moving at a reasonable pace. The food is ok, I ordered a tuna Jacket potato last time which was underdone and very bland. The fish and chips that came were not half as tasty as the Full House down the road. An ok cafe, it's just that you would expect a lot more from M&S.

I had a discount voucher for 2 cream tea, so I invited my sister in law. We were served very quickly with excellent scones, jam and cream and 2 good pots of tea. Thank you Marks & Spencer for a treat to die for!

You can get a coffee and bacon sandwich but not great for much else. Staff a bit snobby sometimes. Kids can be loud in there.

if you like the food M&S sell downstairs you will like the food here. However, a shortage of clean tables and an unacceptably long wait for hot food takes the pleasure out of eating here. There does not seem to be enough staff or cooking infrastructure in place to deal with even a slight influx of customers. My advice would be not to come here when it is likely to be busy or when you are tight for time.

Arrived at around 2.30pm for a late light lunch, when the cafe was very quiet. We got to the ordering/paying point quickly, but were then held up for a ridiculous amount of time while the 2 adults and 2 children in front dithered and dithered over what they wanted. Only 1 member of staff was taking orders, making the hot drinks etc, and taking payment. No offer was made to allow us to "overtake" although we were clearly ready to order (as was the person behind us in the queue that had formed. The bacon rolls (when we eventually got them) were good!
