Mrs C's Patisserie in Hartlepool

Well this was a very interesting place. Looks like a dive from the outside and is on the side of the A19 but we were on our way to Boro so thought we’d pop in for tea. It was 5.30pm and the place was rammed. By the time we had finished our meal there was a queue out of the door. The service was fantastic and staff very friendly. There was a full on disco going on in the background which was lots of fun. The food was a let down as it could have been nice but was all cold, which was a shame. Cheesecake was lovely to finish. It did also feel a bit rushed like they wanted us in and out quickly to get the next people in.

This is a pub we visit regularly for lunch Good choice of meals, quick service. Real ales available. Friendly staff. Visited again just as before. 8

Food was bland and hopeless, nothing to write home about - however i was apalled by the disgusting treatment of PAYING customers, when i was trying to pay, the man at the counter was VERY suggestive with my money; up until the point where he LICKED my change! My twenty pence pieces were practically dripping in my purse. DISAPPOINTED! 😡
