Went to Mrs B s on Saturday. Cappachino was brilliant. Plenty of Tea. Hot scones as well. Staff lovely. Waitress service which makes a change. Great value for money.

I don’t think vegan sandwich and pastry options are normally available on the cafe menu, but when we contacted in advance to book cream teas for a large group Mrs B’s went above and beyond to make us all welcome. I was the only vegan in the group and I was spoiled!! Vegan sausage roll, pie, Mouse cake, rocky road, jack fruit and sheese and salad sandwiches! My advice would be if you are vegan and you want an amazing place to eat and feel completely welcome in Rushden then give Mrs B’s a ring and let them know in advance so they can get a few bits in and you won’t be disappointed! Thankyou Mrs B’s you made one very happy vegan!

My sister surprised me with a unexpected visit on a Monday so we wanted somewhere convenient for lunch unfortunately my favourite restaurant the Italian in Rushden was closed on a Monday lunchtime. We strolled up the road and saw Mrs B's sandwich Emporium and decided to have a light lunch there. The only thing other than sandwiches on the menu was a Ploughmans lunch which sounded lovely and was priced at just under £6. We were extremely disappointed when it arrived there were a few pickled onions, a tiny ramekin of coleslaw, a slightly larger ramekin of salad & a chunk of Brie Also included was a 1/2 tiny baguette and one square of butter. Very expensive for what we received. I will definitely not be returning for food. The coffee was nice and hot and reasonably priced.

Myself and my wife today visited Mrs B's tea shop. We purchased two baguettes and a tea. The tea was good but the food I have to say was mediocre. The disappointing thing for us was that after we had eaten, we decided to try a slice of the coffee & walnut cake and was told that despite spending more than £5 on the first transaction (the minimum amount to avoid a supplementary charge for using a card), we had to pay an extra 0.50p for the privilege bringing the cost to £2.45. When the slice arrived, it was so small, hardly even fitting even for a child. I do wonder about people's common sense sometimes, particularly as small business's rely on repeat custom. Needless to say, we wont be returning.

Had time to kill so thought I'd try Mrs Bs. There was quite a few people there already. It's not a very big coffee shop but pleasantly set out. The building used to be a department store. And has now been broken into smaller one off shops that flow into each other. Our server was very pleasant. I asked if they do gluten free sandwiches they didn't all they had was one slice of carrot cake. It was very moist and yummy. Hubby had toasted tea cake he also had a latte coffee and I had tea. The bill came to £7.45 which we thought was responsible. There is a car park in the rear of the building. Overall popular with others but would have liked to have had gluten free sandwich.

A great place to pop in to enjoy homemade cakes, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes and a lovely cup of tea or coffee. The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious! Generous portions and all served on an eclectic mix of teacups and plates and teapots. Really light environment but with a homely feel. Highly recommended.

If you want tea and cake, let's face it you can get it pretty much any supermarket or eaterie. If you want a generous piece of really delicious cake and a nice cup of tea as well as friendly and helpful customer service, well just go to Mrs. B's! Sausage rolls are nice too if you want something savoury! Last time I went I had just been to hospital and was feeling a bit sorry for myself, but a visit to Mrs B's soon changed that. It doesn't take much to put on a smile and chat in a friendly way with your customers but it does make a real difference. Mrs. B's is great if you want to sit down for a light lunch with family/friends or just pop in for a quick cuppa while you're waiting for someone to go shopping. Highly recommended!

As I live in Birmingham, whenever I come home to visit family, me and my mum always pop into mrs b's for a lovely lunch! The staff are always friendly and helpful! Would rather go here than to a chain like greggs etc!

I have only used this little sandwich shop on about 6 occasions and i rate it the best in Rushden by a mile.We purchased some christmas turkey, stuffing and cranberry baquettes from here recently and they were top notch.I am however a little concerned for their business as this is listed in the wrong location.

As there are two Mrs B's in Rushden now I would like to say both are fantastic. The one on the high street is better if you are looking for a takeaway lunch but the one in Newton Hall is brilliant if you are looking for a lunch or even just a cup of coffee or tea. I am a regular customer of Mrs B's and the food is lovely; panini's, jacket potato's, sandwiches - which are all made freshly and always have a lovely side salad. The cakes are quite simply delicious too. The atmosphere is wonderful too, promoting small businesses in the shop and reminding me how great Rushden can be. Definitely recommend!

It's a local tea shop together with a variety of antiques shops and craft shops all individually owned. It works well, and it's a nice place to have a cup of tea and a piece of home made cake.

We visit Mrs B's when we get the chance & always enjoy the fresh baguettes & sandwiches & salads made on the premises, the homemade quiche & cheese straws are really moreish too. I ordered a birthday cake for a friends mum & when I collected it I was over the moon. It was a Victoria sponge cake covered in white icing with lovely pink iced flowers all over it. My friends mum lives in a residential home & the cake kept them going for a good few days. Definitely worth a try

This place is really nice. They have taken a building which doesn't lend itself naturally to a good, quality tearoom style but they have made it work. The staff are lovely and they are very accommodating to gluten-free diets.Decor is lovely and great food and value for money.I will visit again and regularly.

for coffee and cake it's the nicest one in Rushden, the one nearest the church the newer one is lovely, plenty of seating, pleasant staff, good quality food, home made cakes and the softest squidgy gingerbread loved by my little one, a decent coffee bean too, not a bad choice for anyone I'd say, I use this place weekly.

I went to Mrs B's yesterday for the first time after hearing from my colleagues how great it was and i certainly agree! I felt welcomed the moment i walked in to the moment i walked out. Such lovely staff and lovely food. I had a bbq chicken baguette and it tasted like heaven! And for £2.60 you cant really go wrong! I will definitely be returning!

There are 2 Mrs B's, the one part way down the High St. and the one on the corner, it is the corner Tea Rooms that I have been to several times and it is yet to disappoint. The atmosphere is light and has a slightly old world charm about it but in a pleasant way. The cakes are excellent both in taste and in value, you get a good slab of cake not a sliver and they are properly made with moist sponge not dry or hard. The staff have always been warm and friendly, recognising you if you come back in and will cater to the needs of "difficult" customers who like their tea in a very specific way!Tea rooms are a bit of a dying art which is a shame in a way because they can be a nice setting at a time of the day where it's just good to watch the world go by a bit and not just a place to go with your Grandmother. Though if you need somewhere to take your Grandmother she'd certainly be well looked after.
