Impromptu visit. Swanky, upmarket cocktail bar. Surroundings are weird but wonderful which adds to the ambience. For me, perhaps a little too weird, and way too dark! Reminded me of what I think an older, rich persons swingers club would be like. The cocktails were 5*. Staff 5* also.

We were really well looked after! I’ve been to other Mr Foggs venues but The Apothecary is big, with plush interior, lovely staff, ambiance and the cocktails were delicious and well thought out! We will definitely be back. Thanks team!

Fantastic cocktails, when you first enter the bar it's like walking into someone front room from the 1980', big arm chairs and sofas with patterned curtains. Excellent variety of cocktails, half the time we weren't sure what we were drinking but they tasted really good. The service was wonderful and the staff very accommodating, happy to answer any questions about the cocktails or recommend a drink based on your taste.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy a great cocktail or other drink in a very comfortable and elegant up market venue then I highly recommend here. The staff are attentive, the music provides a nice background and is not overly loud. I agree with other reviews that it is a little quirky but in a very positive way. The cocktails are delicious and around £17 which is the going rate for London. Overall a great place.

Went here for the cocktail experience. It was a quirky way to spend a couple hours, the design of the setting and theming was appealing and the staff in character played off customer preferences. Unfortunately a couple we were sat next too were antagonising in a sniggering, judgemental fashion. I didn't realise I was there to appease them. I believe I would have been aware earlier if I wasn't unwinding after a tough week. I would expect staff to be more aware of this and proactive in addressing it, as this became my main takeaway from the experience.

All I can say is they have produced a lovely cocktail lounge with all the attributes of a jazz club. You enter down some stairs,go behind a curtain and into the dim lit lounge with very comfortable seating and a long bar. First thing I noticed was the barmen all looked like doctors with stethoscopes or were they chemists? It is based on Phineas Fogg and if you venture into the toilets and take a long time you will hear the whole story of his trip around the world. The large and varied drinks menu (tricky to see in the dim light) has a lot of choice although some of the drinks should come with a bank loan! I mean, £65 to £90 for a cocktail...apparently "vintage" though the 1970s is not that vintage to some!! Did I misread this? The "normal" cocktails are around £18 which is normal for London. Wine choice was excellent, but a bottle for £52 which should have been £16. Would I return? Well, the service was very good, the drinks were very good to drink (we didn't go for the vintage surprisingly) and the atmosphere is entertaining so if I were on a night out with friends, yes I would go a drink. I would love to know how many "vintage" cocktails they sell at the prices displayed.

This cocktail bar is entertaining but slightly gimmicky. Mr Fogg himself prowls around dressed in a white coat and bowler hat. The cocktails are all themed to be apothecary remedies, which is fun. Our waiter was fantastic and helped us choose a couple of different drinks. The prices are high though. A diverting place to spend an hour or two enjoying cocktails, but if you are on a budget, don't bother!

Went to tea at the Ritz and was not impressed. The scones were not good and not really scones. Ch and F&M offer better tea experience. Table setting and chairs were very cramped. Service was just ok.

Pret is always my go-to for semi-healthy and fresh lunch on the go when I am in the city. Their coffee is good, and I love their hot meatball wrap.
