Mr Chef in North Lanarkshire

This is the best food I have had in a while. Definitely recommend. Will be ordering here all the time, best takeaway in Motherwell.

Got a takeaway from here the other night, food was cold when it arrived and also took over a hour and a half for it to arrive.

Used mr chef for years but the food we got from them at the weekend was terrible this place has went down hill fast there are plenty other carry outs in Wishaw use them

I ordered a donner meat hoagie and they left out the donner meat 😂I’ve now went back and I’ve got ordered again and this time they put in the donner meat but gave me salad and sauce when I made it clearly I don’t like salad or sauce nor do I want it

Now over 20 visits. Lovely young ladies who serve. But that’s now 8 times I’ve asked for a mild dish. MILD. Have made a huge point of repeating the fact. It gets less mild every visit. As if it’s made hotter on purpose. I’ve took 2 friends now on different occasions. Lassies serving are lovely. Cheesecake is amazing but I’m fed up trying to explain what mild means. My friend and I cried tears with burning mouths tonight. Last time. Local takeaway but not paying a penny more when order isn’t fulfilled.

Just had a delivery after hearing great reports about their pizzas. Massively disappointed. Cold, hard, tasteless pizza. Felt as if it had been made the night before. Unfortunately, wont use but again.

Ordered buffet - chicken and veg pakora / pizza/ chicken biryani/ chips/ salad / sandwich platter for birthday party. Not enough room on the table for the sandwich platter. Cost £111 and everyone said the food was amazing. Delivery on time and food piping hot. Brilliant.

Place use to be the best about, sadly now it’s the best one to avoid to much oil in the curries and tasteless food

Excellent value for money and food is good quality.food is ready quickly and is always warm. Will defiantly be back

The best takeaway in Scotland if you want a good takeaway experience I would highly recommend it staff very polite and friendly if I could afford it I would be there every day getting food

Popped in to grab a few curries with the family. Not the the nicest food, most of it was left. Young guy taking orders wasn't interested in customers but rather his phone when trying to make an order.

donot waste your money honestly we did order 40pound worth last nigh very disappointed never back again

Recently tried Mr Chef again, due to their recent award win, but lo and behold it is the same mistakes all over again. Bought 3 curries, had a party at the house for a recent birth in the family, a chasni, a rogan josh and a ceylonese korma, they pretty much tasted the same... the korma is supposed to be mild but ended up medium strength of blandness. Complained over the phone, to first be told by a girl that management isn't there, but then he was 5 minutes later when I tried to get some sort of refund for the poor food as if by magic. Rude isn't the word to describe it, a simple request for some refund for the lack of flavour and obvious same curry base being used in all 3 meals wasn't much to ask for, but you would think that I had attacked his whole family by suggesting that. Posted on Just Eat about the order, to be met with the usual everyone else is at fault reply, "Sorry that you did not enjoy the meals" - implying I do not understand how they should taste and somehow my fault, "they are popular" - again trying to point out that I am at fault and not them for not cooking them right. "We offered to deliver fresh meals to you, but you refused" - I can assure you, they did nothing of the sort, another tactic used by them to try and look like they tried to bend over backwards for the customer and the customer is the one in the wrong. Then the review was taken off by Just Eat, as Mr Chef claimed I never got the meal so shouldn't have been able to give a review, and I end up getting a full refund. Disgusting behaviour and practice from an obvious egotistical owner who thinks he can't do anything wrong.

Had a lovely cheese Pizza made by Courtney who was very friendly and kept me entertained while waiting on my pizza cooking time flew past

Got a takeaway and a chilli nan bread and it was totally disgusting the nan bread was as if it had been flavoured with salt and not chilli. I won't be back and don't recommend this place will stick to my own takeaway from now on. Do not order from here it's a waste of money for poor food.

Don't understand how this place has won awards we got takeout it was inedible won't be back.The shop needs a good clean and the hygiene was terrible.

Tried Mr.Chef in Craigneuk - won't be back. Order was incomplete and found what looked and felt like a 4cm long nylon hair (like from a paintbrush) in my nan bread - after it was in my mouth Heard good things - tried it - I'll stick to my usual

Had to pay this place a visit after seeing the awards it had won for one of the bests takeaways in Britain. Great selection of pizzas and I will be back to try more. This time we tried the meat feast pizza and it was delicious
