A cracking local pub, glad to see reopened and refreshed. Service is always cheery and pleasant, the staff happy to help and friendly. Food was tasty fresh cooked and well priced solid pub grub. Atmosphere feels like a jovial open local, feeling welcoming and open. A great venue to have in the area

No chef so couldn't order any food

Food was pretty decent but the service was great, very helpful staff with a good sense of humour for an evening out with persons on a holiday break. Sadly not a lot of atmosphere as just happened to be a quiet evening, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Arrived to have evening meal around 6:50 restaurant was empty bar one table and a few people outside.Placed order about 7:10 of two starters and two mains. Took nearly an hour to get starter then as eating it mains came out. I ordered a parmo which was meant to be with passata and Bechemal sauce.On tasting this it was clear the passata was just tomatoe puree and the chicken and sauce was dry with lumpy cheese.Did not enjoy.What looked liked the end of service some woman came out of the kitchen dressed like she was bar staff. When asked if food was ok I told them no and explained what was wrong .Told they were short staffed and one of the barmaids actually helped in the kitchen as there was no porter.Also said it was very busy it wasn’t a few tables outside and no one inside till another family came in near the end of our meal. No apology or anything I don’t think a chef cooked our meal at all . Very disappointing shame as it is local and have had a lovely meal before .

Heard good reports about the food being very good so decided to try it. We tried ringing to make sure it was open but was told the number was wrong but decided to go anyway unfortunately when we got there it was to be told the kitchen was closed so no food. Why this couldn’t have been put on the website. Very bad for business as we will think twice before trying again

Went there for food with my daughter this afternoon and the food was delicious, you get such a large proportion! Our server, Chloe was amazing and was great help🥰

Food is really nice, the lasagna is delicious, good portion and reasonably priced. Service is good, staff are really polite and attentive. The only thing I think spoils the place is some of the tables look shabby.

We visited here spontaneously one afternoon for a bite to eat and were not disappointed. Both me and my husband ordered a parmo each on the 2 for £20 offer which is available every Monday and Tuesday (also included Pizzas and Burgers). I had the porky parmo with pulled pork on top and my husband had the hot shot. It really did not disappoint the food was delicious and as I can’t eat much in one go, they were more than kind enough to box up the large portion for me to take home. Service by Chloe was great and she couldn’t have done more to ensure we had a great experience, she is a credit to the team. We will definitely be back!

Waited nearly an hour for my food. I felt rushed to eat it as the party of 8 I was with had finished theirs well before mine was served.

A nice local. Food was good with big portions. Neck Oil on tap, although I had a Guinness which was very nice.

Ok food the mashed potatoes was cold but the rest was ok staff very friendly but the mint sauce was disgusting and the tables either need replacing or covering with table cloths also there was a little waiting for the side vegetables.

Midweek visit so no surprise it was quiet, great food though, especially the steak pie.

Was visiting the area so asked for a recommendation from a local friend. It was a great suggestion. Lovely little pub, nice atmosphere. I ordered braised ox cheeks, bubble & squeak, buttered greens and peas from the specials menu. Washed down with a brown ale, was perfect. Food was a nice size portion, good presentation and, perfectly seasoned. Recommend for a nice casual dining experience.

Celebrating our granddaughters birthday, today & the service, food & staff were excellent. Five of us had a delicious meal, hot & tasty.The staff made sure we were all looked after & that we were enjoying ourselves. Would recommend to family and friends. We will be back soon.

My mother and her two friends visited today for a meal. The meal was inedible and had to be sent back. All the meals were bad which is a shame as I have previously been told how lovely the food was here.

Absolutely cracking food and it comes out in a reasonable amount of time also. Portion sizes are excellent. Only marked down for service as it's a new team who are learning from the more experienced staff but they are very polite ,helpful and once settled they will only get better and become a good asset to an already good bar/restaurant.

Been tonight had the parmos absolutley delicious triple cooked chips amazing , from.the moment we walked in we where made to feel welcome service was second to none will certainley be back well done to the team !!

Thought we would try The Moulders Arms for our Sunday lunch and ww were not disapointed. Two roast beef dinners followed by two chocolate brownies with ice cream definately hit the spot. Friendly polite staff ,will be back again

We went for food on Friday night ,my husband said the burger he had was the best he'd tasted,couldn't fault the food and the service ,we'll be back .

Shambolic service and even worse food. Avoid at all costs. Badly organised. Cutting corners. Unprofessional staff. Some menu options weren’t edible. Hugely overpriced. So disappointed.

Been here for the first time today and the Sunday lunch was amazing fab staff and service and thanks to Danielle and Chelsie for all of their help when my friend was poorly they were both amazing

Called in for lunch today. Took ages to be served drinks and a huge wait for food. Food was ok but staff need a good uniform to upgrade.

Second visit to The Moulders Arms and this time was in the bar for food as we had a dog with us. Excellent food and service was great.

Good choice of menu, food really tasty, can recommend hot beef stottie and parmo.

Lovely pub tucked away off the beaten track, nice friendly atmosphere with great staff, the wife had a lasagne me a mixed grill that didn't disappoint, will definitely be visiting again soon

After 15 minutes of trying to get served in a bar with about 20 people in at 7 o clock on a Saturday night I decided to call if quits and go elsewhere and I was told the people in front of me waiting went elsewhere too...so wrong.

Not great, ordered drinks and waited about 15 minutes though no one in? Then ordered food , waited another 40 minutes only to be brought wrong order , though 16 year old waitress was adamant it was correct , though eventually had to admit her mistake , didn’t eat it as was horrible . Went to pay and was charged for food I didn’t order or eat, questioned this and it was taken off my bill eventually , not a great visit , hopefully will improve over time ,

First time going since it was taken over. It's been given a bright makeover. It was lovely to see it busy too. The food was fab, one of the nicest steaks I've had. Very reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

Poor Service the lady behind the bar took our order and missed my daughter's food of the bill then she had I nerve to come and to me I made I mistake with the pizza it was her fault not mine but still had to pay for it and discussed in front of me to another customer shocking not ver professional

The pub has been decorated & is now very fresh & clean. Great service from Julie & Chloe & new management are very friendly. We had two lovely meals from a new menu & there is also a specials board. The pub was very busy with people also enjoying the sun in the beer garden which is now very tidy. Glad to be back to our regular haunt.

Great food, atmosphere, staff and crowd. FANTASTIC beer garden. New owners so I'll be supporting them. A lovely neighbourhood pub that's been refreshed. 5 🌟 from me!

Good food at a reasonable price, pleasant and attentive staff. Well worth a visit. I was surprised there were not more customers.

Some of our other family members, as well as Doreen and myself visited the Moulders this week for a pre Xchristmas knee's up xxx. Everything was fine with the drinks, the staff were very good but our food did not seem to be seasoned sufficiently. Now I'm not a Milly complilainy Mr bootens as a rule but my altruistic side compels me at this juncture to point this out. All cooking techniques were adhered to, hollandaise sauce was smooth both and had a sheen but there was no ting. The meat was good, portions were good, gravy fine, roast potatoes and mash bland, veg was good, good sprouts, crunchy enough and very tasty asparagus so well done there. Really, my only complaint is seasoning. Say it with me seasoning seasoning seasoning! I believe if you do this you will increase your chances of making more money. I would be very willing to come back, but with Pat this time, if you are willing to sharpen up your seasoning. And with that I bid you seasons greetings and Doreen, Pat and Mark, Roger Sue and Penny and I would love to wish you, all your family and friends, your colleagues customers and any pets a happy Christmas.

Good choice of food, very reasonably priced. I had the Mixed Seafood Pasta, very nice indeed. Staff were brilliant too.

Myself and my partner visited here for our first time tonight, I had the fish and chips and my partner had a mixed grill for mains and a starter each beforehand of potato skins, food was lovely, huge portions, didn't have much room for dessert. Friendly service from the two lasses behind the bar. Would recommend to others and would be back sometime.

Lovely little lad behind the bar, always gives the best service, can tell he struggles with social spaces but he’s always lovely. Always got fit birds working as well.

Visited here at the weekend after being recommended by a friend. As we say waiting for someone to take our order we noticed the music was quite loud. Another diner complained and they quickly turned it off. We placed our order, but it took ages before it was finally put on our table. We sat ages again waiting for someone to come and clear out played and ask if we wanted a sweet menu. All of the staff seemed to be in the bar area ! I finally went and asked if someone could take our order. I made sure that I got the bill at the same time that our sweet was delivered, as I didn't want to have to wait another thirty minutes to get someone's attention. The food was very nice, but the service was poor and spoiled the evening.

This used to be a great pub, but sadly no more. On my last visit there was no real ale on offer whatsoever. It looks very much like it's being run down.

meal served, would we like any sauces, yes please mint sauce and more gravy. waitress returned to ask if all ok only to be asked again for gravy and mint sauce. meal typicaql of pub sunday lunch and ok but service not acceptable.

Has just been taken over with new management we decided to give it a go on the Sunday we were very very pleasantly surprised it was just like having your mother make you Sunday lunch it was really nice we had the 3 meat choice The belly pork was fantastic in fact the whole meal was very very good we shall look forward to returning in the near future

Great Wednesday night pub quiz with a funny approachable quiz master who gets everyone involved

Used to come here all the time. The food was delicious especially the Sunday diners and puddings. Since it’s been took over it seems to be full of crowds of young boys/men in the garden area all the time. Right next to the children’s play area!!??? Which my 3 children loved to play on, unfortunately not any more. Was a lot of bad language aswell which is disappointing as it’s always been family friendly. This has been a huge put off for us.

Just popped in for a quick pint on a hot day. Can't really do it justice with regard to a review given it was such a short visit.

My wife and I are visiting the area from East Yorkshire, it's my birthday today so we decided to walk over to the moulders arms which is over 2 miles away, when we got there we were greated by the kitchen is closed for three weeks. Why wasn't this out on their webpage.we were blazing, cold and hungry. Not happy.

The food here is so good really big portions and the staff are so friendly

Menu changed, no lunch time/light bite options, menus look cheap and not much choice at all. Won’t be returning.
