Came here a lot of times because of how reliable they are and friendly the staff are.The food is what you would expect from any fast food restaurant . In a wonderful location just of the M5 motorway. Would definitely recommend

Suffering a bit due to building work when I went.should be good again after

Ordered 3 chicken wings for the wife, got 2, saw the 3rd on the heater thing, asked for it. Got denied even though they read out the order verbally containing 3 pieces of chicken. Probably got eaten by the workers, wife feeling a bit suicidal now ngl. Sort it out KFC, an accent isn’t a language barrier.

Cleaner actually needs to clean the tables. Every table was filthy at 9.40pm

Stopped here to pick up a sandwich from the M&S Foodstore and go to the toilet. No problem with M&S, even managed to pay cash. However, the mens toilets were a utter disgrace. A number of urinals had been closed off, and the toilets had no manual means to be able to flush them, which appeared to have been removed. There was no apparent sensor operation either. All the cubicles had backed up poo and paper stinking the place out. Totally unacceptable for a very busy service station area. How it will cope during the busy holiday season I can't imagine. It needs to be fixed urgently!

YUMMY I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND in my opinion McDonald’s is better though

Uterly Useless. Toilets are hidden away at the back. No real gluten-free meal options. Yes, good old M&S did have a free from prepacked sandwich. But none of the other outlets had anything GF on offer for breakfast.

The first thing that most people need, on arriving at a motorway service station, is access to the lavatories. In this place they have decided to put the toilets right and the back and have everyone pick their way through the catering bunfight to get to the plumbing. This is not about offering the customers what they need. It is also more difficult to access from the motorway than many other service stations. Perhaps hold it in and press on.

Delicious good takeaway food. Fast service and prices are not too bad.

Dreadful, disorganised layout , difficult to find our way around and vastly overcrowded. We left as soon as we could after a comfort stop. Ignoring our original plan for coffee and snacks

In one word - vile! Stopped for a coffee en route to Plymouth at 6:45am. Got a coffee from Pret then looked for a clean table to sit at. The floor was no better which, having worked in catering, I was surprised about considering it was so early. As none were clean I took my coffee outside so I could drink it whilst admiring a view of the overflowing bins. Before I left I used the toilet which stank with paper all over the floor. Disgusting place which I will make sure never to visit again!

Toilets are appalling and the whole place is run down .There is a Costa and M&S simply food but apart from that there are no good points . Even the Costa coffee was horrible! We haven’t stopped here for years and won’t be bothering again

Very busy kfc om a motorway services and they serve cold chicken, find it hard given that it's so busy food should be piping hot. Ooen the box burger looked like it had gone 2 rounds with tyson.

Tables and sitting area needs to be cleaned more often

The over all apreance as improved but the level of service of some of the outlets is poor and quality of food varies

Unfortunately, this place is so dated, dirty, ripped chairs, dirty tables, KFC food was fine, but to sit in is depressing. It all needs a face-lift, considering it is a major service station where literally thousands of people pass through.

Good place to break on the mororway. Washing machines available. Lots of seating and food venues

Costa - awful service! Later 2 customers got served before myself. After waiting ages for them to make 3 drinks for the previous customer they proceeded to serve the people behind me. Not impressed at all. The toilets were absolutely disgusting! Smelt awful, dirty hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time! Avoid

i went to the services on a long drive with my friends expecting a pleasant, stress free experience. however that is far from what i experienced. i made my way over to the costa counter and encountered an employee named lauren who was not only rude and unpleasant but also made our coffees ever so bitter. please take into consideration retraining your staff so they can provide a somewhat pleasant experience for your customers. many thanks, serah

Just went in for the toilet and it’s nice the toilets are clean and smell nice the shops are good and food looks nice you should visit

After spending nearly £23, on a family bucket, when we opened the box we were disgusted to find that the 10pieces of chicken were all drumsticks the outer coating was over cooked and inedible, and the corn was old and soggy, would definitely not come back to this KFC

Great little KFC but not very big plus the staff looked stressed right out. The service area is tiny and the waiting area your sort of mixing in with other customers for other stands

We stopped here for something to drink and eat and choose Greggs . We ordered sausage roll and cornbeef pastry . We have never been so dissatisfied by Greggs. It was like someone had made them with a paste as there was no substance to either. Only slightly warm which was not welcomed when you have driven for many hours. I hope these comments make Greggs standards improve as we would not recommend to buy from here

Place was a complete pig sty. Food everywhere on all the tables, food on the floor, bins full no one cleaning up. For someone selling food they need an inspection from the food hygiene officer. This was on the 1st of Jan, surely they know its going to be busy.

Bad quality of food. Had food poisoning. Could literally taste the bad chicken in your mouth.

Its KFC, nothing special. In fact I don't eat it any more.i only bought it for my little cousin. I find it over expensive for what you get.....an adults meal isn't enough to fill a child....I know because it doesn't fill my 10 year old granddaughter..... its a total rip off....

Do not go to Burger King. Whoever was shift manager on Thursday 16th November around midnight is weak and useless. Watching a bunch of teenagers fooling around for 20 minutes when there are only two orders and you just want to get home was particularly frustrating. The girl with blond hair needs sacking for not only being irritating and stopping everyone getting on with their work but she is clearly lazy. The food is awful and over priced. Get a grip.

The usual good food from a KFC but also the usual problem of missing items. This happens so often at every KFC I've ever used. Why oh why can't this be fixed? Even if it's not busy there are still too many mistakes made. I shouldn't have to open and check every item every time. I used to get KFC delivered but not anymore. I always collect it myself as I just can't trust the staff to put my order together properly. Always something missing or wrong. It's not acceptable. The food is always great though.

Chicken was greasy, chips were thrown into the bag, not nice at all.

Dont use this service station, it smells of pee as soon as you stepped out in to the car park, then they have the nerve to try and charge for parking, it comes over like a place you do dodgy deals... But the toilets are clean

Came here for a quick drink and toilet stop whilst travelling on the M5. Plenty of parking but there was a huge amount of the parking area dug up so it was like a building site. We visited Greegs for a coffee and cake which was ok.

Really disappointing veggie options in every shop. Bathrooms are ok but the general vibe was off and it didn’t smell good or clean. Disappointed to not interact with forementioned black haired costa barista. Thinking that they probably got a bad rep when they were making the best out of a bad work environment. I was relieved to leave and will probably go somewhere else next time. Shout out to the pasty van though, as always great.

Optimum stop for travelling south. Has everything you need. We couldn't find any motorcycle parking so parks right outside the doors. The Cornish pasties van was delicious but expensive. I probably should of bought one from their petrol station shop. This place is always packed and so you need to be careful when driving or riding through the car park. I was nearly hit by a car

Convenient place to stop ahead of a long drive home. It was very busy the whole time I was here so I'm guessing it was popular! I managed to get a decent coffee and stretch my legs before the long drive. I like this services so I will stop again

Good value for money food. The food area itself (shared with other restaurants and shops) is a bit tatty, dirty and often overcrowded.

Food was quite nice when we finally got it. Had to wait 45 minutes after placing order!!! Not even a sorry from staff then there was half of it missing, still no apology. Completely unacceptable will not be using again. Even when myself and other customers complained there was no sign of a manager!

Food and atmosphere is nice. Service is slow though. I waited (after order)for 15 minutes, only to be told that they are out of sandwich. I was offered a refund, however I chose equivalent amount of chicken strips.

A 30 minute wait for food IS NOT fast food. What is going on at this KFC? 10 orders on the screen and one poor guy on the expo.

The person who appeared to be in charge was really rude and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner in front of the whole queue. She was clearly very unhappy in her work and showed little patience

It was the last weekend of the school summer holidays so very very busy inside. Took 20 mins just to get my food order due to so many people ordering at once!

Huge 40 minute wait for food. Many others cancelled and got a refund. Over priced and will avoid in future.

Visited 7.45pm on a Saturday (2nd sep so end of holiday season). Pret and Greggs closed already. Very slim picking at m&s and wh Smith. Long queues at Costa. Ill prepared for the time of the year and day/time. Disappointing

It started with the receipt not coming out of the order machine. Waited for 20 min. All those who ordered later got served. When I asked, the man there said, just a minute and then just began bringing stuff together. Didn't apologise. 5 min passed, he is still not ready. When asked a lady staff, she looked unpleasant too and took 2 min and handed a bag with no drinks. When asked again, she went back to the male staff who asked 'what else you need?' We have no receipt but reminded Lipton tea. Then he said 'no sorry. Do you want any replacement?' Choose another drink in place and just left. Such a horrible service never seen in a KFC. Just 2 beans were found in my veg rice box I ordered:(

Very hit and miss here. On this occasion, ‘Twas a bit of a miss. 15min wait to order, issues when ordering as they weren’t keen on accepting an offer from their own app promotion. When the food arrived the chips were cold and hard and chicken had almost as much bone as meat on some pieces. On balance, we have had much better meals from there so it really is the luck of the draw!

Actually two busy roundabouts off the motorway so access takes a few minutes. Facilities okay

This KFC is anything but fast twice now we have been and both times 45 mins wait for food!!! We ordered a kids popcorn chicken meal and 2 bbq chicken bites pots that’s all nothing to hard but to wait 45 mins is terrible and then it was all just warm! Won’t be making that mistake again, all the others are way quicker and it’s sad as KFC is the best option

Stopped for lunch at Exeter services and chose KFC because normally it's fast and tasty but on Monday 7th August we placed an order at 12.57 and after three quarters of an hour waiting I was just going to the counter to demand a refund and leave when the food was finally produced. There is clearly a need for more staff or at least more staff training. We were not the only ones getting hangry. it seems the food was being cooked but not collated for service. Some people were returning their food because it was cold by the time they got it.

This is by far the worst service in the UK. It is a converted Travelodge. The person who designed the roads and routes must be an infant. In fact, an infant would have better instincts and do a better job. The chaotic dreariness of the place reminded me of something from the 1970s. The live, laugh, love brigade seemed to like it. The queue for Greggs that was dripping outside said it all for me. The type of people that get stimulus from things like Love Island were wallowing about, getting in the way of traffic and other people. It's a dangerous place to take the infirm and kids because of the tight traffic routes and pathetic walkways. Just appalling. I wanted and needed a shower after coming out of that dive.

they have a working Krushem machine

My partner is a long distance lorry driver and uses these services a lot however he can't use the shower facilities because it's all open so you can't keep personal belongings safe and the shower door doesn't lock (because one has never been fitted) so not only are belongings left unattended but any body can enter the shower room when it's in use.

We looked inside the service/shops area and decided to get cornish pasties from the mobile van outside! The traditional pasties were lovely as was the coffee....only disappointment was they didn't do decaffeinated coffee or tea!

I know this is a service station and can become busy but the food took an age to come out I was actually debating leaving it and coming out took about 30mins for a small popcorn chicken and chips

We stopped here for a break on our way to catch the ferry at Plymouth. As we were in good time we stayed a while before continuing on. Three months after returning from our trip to Spain, I received a penalty notice for a £60 fine for overstaying our time and as I was driving a hire van [Enterprise] they received the fine which they passed on to me plus a £35 service charge. Moto services this is a disgusting way to treat the travelling public who only stop for a rest. They might say there are signs warning of overstaying, but they are obviously not very prominent. I wonder how many other motorist have been caught out by this not very prominent notice.

Awful services. Cramped inside, busy and one of the worst designed road systems for getting into and out of a services that I’ve ever seen.

Lots to choose from food wise, burger king, nice Chinese which is probably the cheaper option, kfc, pastys, whsmiths, toilets and alot more, ample parking petrol station, electric points for a variety of electric cars. Enjoy😀

Stopped here for first time. Toilet cubicles were disgusting and blocked. Was told ladies were similar. Won’t be stopping here again. Won’t be sharing photos with you - maybe with local authority environmental services

Terrible. Waited 40 mins for ‘fast food’ and for them to get the order wrong. Watched a member of staff verbally abuse a customer and went outside for a fight. Good entertainment at least.

Always good to stop at Exeter service centre. Good choice of food,clean toilets. Can be very busy at this time of the year

Called in on my way home from a very busy day, ordered a 6piece family feast and a side of fillets. No option to buy the gravy so went for mash potatoes, was advised none of no mash so opted for beans. Grabbed my order and drove 25 mins home. I always reheat it in the airfryer when I get home but with it being a warm day it wasn't needed. First there was only one portion of fries instead of 4, the pots of beans had been chucked on top of the chicken and the fillets were so dry the were unediable. Come to eat the chicken and it tasted awful, almost got a sickly taste to it. The whole lot went in the bin. Certainly won't be returning!!!

The best KFC I've had in ages. Service was extremely quick and accurate. Server was friendly and personable. Food was seriously the best KFC we've had in years.

This is a 'traveler beware' situation, I have never stayed in a motorway services longer than 1 hours in the past, but I charged my car and conducted a meeting taking me very close to the 2 hours free parking limit on leaving the queue...

Usual experience food wise however floor, tables filthy and internal bins overflowing.

Possibly the unloveliest services I've had the misfortune to visit.

OK as services go. We were on to Cornwall from Birmingham, so it was just past the halfway point and a good place. But as others have said, the signage is poor. Between sliproads and roundabouts it was very easy to become lost!

Very busy, had to wait 45 minutes for our food, need more staff, felt sorry for the guy working very hard to be as quick as possible
