Un montón de opciones. Fuimos a comer comida en torno a las 4 de la tarde, hora local, que es la razón por la que creo que la mayoría de la comida estaba seco y no parecía fresco. Que parecía ser sobras de la comida. Nada especial.

The worst food I have ever had. There was not much choice and what ever there was looked days old I could not bring myself to eat I just virtually tried some stuff only because I was starving, the place looked very run down and not very clean I would never go back not even if I got paid to do so!!

I visited this buffet yesterday evening when visiting friends in Glasgow, and we thought we'd try this new place out. It seemed nice enough, despite what seems like unfinished decor (wallpaper sellotaped to the wall!), and the staff were friendly. The food was mostly ok, however I have been to better buffets for the £13pp price tag. Firstly, I had an issue with the ladies rooms, they were unclean and as well as this there were no sanitary bins in any of the stalls. This is unacceptable, what sort of establishment would expect women to use a little bin by the door- disgusting! Not only for us ladies, but for the poor people who have to clean the toilets. Secondly, we were seated within view of the swinging door to the kitchen, from whence we could see a microwave. We watched with much amusement as we saw a member of staff carry a tray through, pop it into the microwave, come back and decant it into a silver tray for the buffet. To have this within full view of the restaurant is simply ridiculous. In addition to this, two of the four of us whom visited spent today feeling particularly ill. I am not one to link cause and effect, knowing it could be a coincidence. However, having visited the same restaurant, watching them reheat the food and then suffering symptoms very similar to food poisoning... It's all a bit fishy in my opinion. I would avoid this restaurant, there's plenty of other more delicious choices of restaurant in Glasgow.

Visited for the lunch deal. Everything I tried, I liked. The service was really friendly too. For this price I'll be back for sure.

This restaurant has been open just a week and is waiting to offer payment by card from customers. At present it is cash only. We went in the evening through the week when the meal was £10.95 per person. On offer is what is known as world buffet where you help yourself to dishes from various countries. The food was very good and we left replete. Drinks were not overly expensive by restaurant standards. I had jasmine tea with as many refills as needed for just £1.40. The teppanyake was very tasty especially the salmon. There is an option if you pay about £5 more to have a fodue type of meal where you cook items of food that you select such as scallops. I did not go for this as they had run out of scallops.

LThis place was the definition of underwhelming. The macaroni tasted like that cheap, tinned crap. Vom. I’m pretty sure I’d eat any kind of pizza. Even bad pizza has it’s time and place (usually on the way home from a night out), but this wouldn’t even fit that scenario. Slightly more edible than the macaroni, but still pretty dire. It’s a no from me.

I was so looking forward to Valaria after seeing all the hype on social media. Don’t get me wrong, the interior is aesthetically pleasing. We were originally sat at a table next to the door and were moved to a better area. It took some time for service and to place orders then a goooood while for our food to arrive. When it did arrive, the croque Monsieur looked lovely and I went for the salmon Benedict— now, for £14 it was a small portion & quite frankly didn’t look anything fancy. When I cut into the poached eggs they were both well done. I tried to get the attention of a member of staff for some time to no avail leaving me to get up and quickly get the attention of the greeter at the door. I asked if I could get my eggs runny she just replied “ok”, no apologies— I know that it wasn’t her cooking them but her customer service was shocking. Maybe she was just having a bad day, as she looked like she didn’t want to be there and her attitude reflected it, however, upon reading most recent reviews the service appears to be poor so who knows. When I received my replacement it was just put down to me with a “here you go” no apologies, sorry about your wait etc. This time around I was given more of the beetroot hollandaise which made the dish less dry. However, if I didn’t know that it was made with beetroot then I really wouldn’t have been able to say that it contained beetroot, it was rather flavourless. We ordered more drinks and both times the glasses came out warm and the waitress stated they were short on glasses? Perhaps this was the wait?! I was quite fed up by this time, however the cakes DID look good so we caved in and got some. My friend went for the sticky toffee biscoff and enjoyed and I had the cherry choux bun and I must say it was delicious and stuffed with cream. They did, again, take a while to arrive at our table which I couldn’t understand as they only needed to be put on a side plate- I would have been quicker doing it myself. I wish that I settled for a couple of cakes instead. I definitely would not do brunch again, and I know they do evening tapas now and my experience today has put me off. If anything, I would get a take away cake. Also, there’s an added 10% tip charge— I always tip anyways but what i have noticed in places which have this automatically added to the bill the service lacks as if it’s just expected now as I doubt many ask for it to be removed.
