Halal, sit-down, quality fish and chips. This is the place to go. The spicy fish, regular fish, chips, and chicken were all delicious. It was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was served in a reasonable time. Thank you Mother Hubbards

Went for their famous Palestine box, good quantity of chips, spicy chicken burger and fish burgers were nice, got chicken tenders and extremely dry wings, no masala fish or drinks as advertised.

Excellent Service and great, caring staff. One of the staff members called Zenib, was absolutely wonderful. She was full of manners, great personality, caring and gave respect to each and every customer، ensuring each and every customer was 100% satisfied with their orders. Loved my service here. Definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends ❤️

I ordered over 60 lots of fish & chips for an employment appreciation day which is a huge order! I dealt with a fab lady called Shona who helped me sort out the order & arrange collection at a specific time. Nothing was too much trouble and when I collected everything was already packed along with all the necessary cutlery and names on boxes of who ordered what (some people wanted other meals). Shona made sure everything was present and correct and they were still piping hot when I got them back to work. Amazing customer service from, especially Shona, and the rest of the team at Mother Hubbard’s in Bradford. Thank you !!! They were delicious!

Just popped in for some chips as I'm a bit hungry as you do. asked for a take out was told to go and make my order from a display order self check out counter for some reason it didn't want to play a staff member had to help me so as not to look like a fool. When I got back to my car to eat my chips I was disappointed as they look and taste like yesterday's not nice at all so now I'm still hungry and £2.65 down after only eating 5or 6 chips

The establishment looks really nice from the outside, and posh inside. But it stinks of rotten fish, it doesn't smell like a fish and chips restaurant that should have an irresistible smell of fish and chips that I'm accustomed too. I've been in this establishment on several occasions but get put off from the bad smell of rotten fish.

Cold day like today, best meal.

Bought fish and chips and all I can say is that the quality of fish has dropped and fish prices have come down and they are ripping people off. Jokers

We came in and got served by kayana, just wanted to say how amazing her customers service skills were from the second we walked in. She’s went through the menu with us and explained everything, I was unsure about getting your new range of burgers, she told me which one she liked and can’t believe how nice they were. I came with my 2 kids and she helped with high chairs and also brought the food out to us. Thank you

Fabulous service by Vicky, she could not have done anymore for us other than actually eating the Fish & Chips, 1st class service. The Fish butty, chips, peas & cups of tea were fabulous.

Waited for 50 minutes. Given it was busy, but they had no system in place where the saw off older orders before starting on new ones. Was called at 30 mins 'Order 006' - then told that they were waiting on something and would keep it warm in the back. Waiting in plain sight for another 20 minutes before asking them if my order was ready and they looked at me as if I had gone mad! Apologies and within the next minutes - placed the last item in the bag. Food was lovely but having to wait 50 minutes only to realise they had forgot all about you was frustrating. Especially, having a family waiting for the food at home.

Best fish I've ever had. The fish served here simply melts in your mouth. It's cooked with perfection. The batter is crispy, the fish is huge compared to other local fisheries and it tastes delicious. You get a decent portion of chips that come along with the fish. I'll definitely be trying these guys again.

Cannot pay by card at tills instead two electric machines to place your order and pay by card. Oh surprise not working lost my custom mother Hubbard's. But you do do awesome fish.

First time trying Mother Hubbards after being told by a family member and I must say it was very nice, the atmosphere and restaurant itself was very well looked after, very clean and the service was great. The food was amazing and portion size was very generous for the price. Would highly recommend 👌 👍🏽 😄

Disappointed and slightly livid and to think this place specialises in fish and chips. Fish wasn’t too bad but the chips were cold, dry and rock solid. I could barely bite into them with my adult teeth so you can only imagine how much my 5, 3 and 2 year olds struggled to get their gnashers in. We ended up only eating the fish. To make matters worse we were made to wait so long and for what? The food here is inedible and overpriced quite frankly and we won’t be returning. Got some fish and chips from killinghall fisheries today which is just round the corner and they were absolutely delicious.

The dynamite fish burger was just perfect spicy and very tasty. Well done! And at the moment the offer 2 for 1 for just £8.99 incl. Chips is brilliant. Highly recommended.

I am a regular customer for mother Hubbard. Yesterday was 2nd time going to Leeds road branch. Normally I go other branches. But anyway got me fish and chips. Chips were rock hard and been re-cooked, fish was OK, but not upto standard of mother Hubbard. Inside restaurant music was to load.

Just came from London and went to purchase super jumbo fish and chips. Cold chips small size fish. Very disappointed. Just spent £18 on cold chips

It was extremely busy with one person ordering over £150 worth of food, guessing for his office. The front house staff you can see were working tirelessly, but with a smile to ensure all orders and customers expectations were met. A couple of customers did get angry at the wait times, but honestly the front house staff couldn’t help how busy they were. I usually don’t write many reviews, but was compelled to after seeing a couple of customers getting frustrated for them being busy at lunch hour! I ordered the lunchbox and it was excellent! Also tried the Dynamite Dip Burger for those who like it spicy!

I love going to Mother Hubbards, I really had a bad experience while me and my partner were eating flies were making it very uncomfortable and annoying very unhygienic plus a table was near where we were sat required cleaning as the flies were flying to and fro,worst experience I have had, the staff were very busy, usually they are prompt at clearing the tables, there was a queue of around 20 people, there should be some fly attracting product for the flies to attract and stay away from customers food. I am placing this experience as a one off, hopefully the next time I visit the problem has been resolved.
