Recommended to us by the owners of the hotel we were staying in . So glad we visited . We sat inside after placing our order as it was raining . The fish and chips were freshly cooked . The fish was so flaky and moist and the batter not greasy . The chips were gorgeous again not greasy . Generous portions. The best fish & chips we’ve had in a very long time . Will definitely visit again next time we are in Blackpool .

I just popped in for some chips. Proper fat chips good portion for £2.95 sat in as it was raining. Clean. Good service cooked while we waited so nice and fresh.

Recomended to try, fish was really good but some of the chips really dry! Empty at this time of year wish we had walked out and gone somewere else, rude indian lady when we didnt shut the door!! We didnt know it stayed open!!

Absolutely loved the fish & chips. Large portion for a standard meal, couldn't eat it all. Well, ate the fish as it was the best I've had and a thick meaty portion. I don't usually opt for fish and chips but glad I did. A large portion really IS large as the next table had ordered it to share. Will definitely eat here again.

We have good appetites but struggled to finish all of our meals! The standard fish and chips is absolutely huge and the "large" really, really IS! I can't even begin to imagine what the next size up is like! (And there are three sizes!). Our fish was hot, fresh, tender and tasty (apart from being enormous). The chips were traditional "chippy" chips - again, fresh and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in here! My only small criticism was that whilst salt and vinegar are free and out upon the tables, ketchup (small satchet) is 50p extra.

Mixed up the order and gave me the wrong order. The quality was poor and felt like the service was rushed. iv been eating at Mother Hubbards throughout the UK and it’s a shame the blackpool branch is letting the brand down

The best portion of homemade chunky chips ..I tried a few different chip shops but this one is the best chips.. were done fresh and big portion

Good service and superb food. Had fish and Chips and my wife had chicken strips and chips. Both were excellent.

Great fish & chips crispy batter and flaky tasty fish with chips - large portion and struggled to eat them though the food was very good - staff were friendlyp

Warm, very friendly welcome to a spotlessly clean restaurant. The portions were huge, the fish moist & very tasty. The chips were a bit too chunky for me & weren't consistently cooked, but the fish was so large that I couldn't eat all the chips anyway. Very well priced & we'll definitely visit again when in the area.

Excellent freshly cooked food, good quality and the restaurant was clean and spacious I would definitely recommend as they have a good selection of childrens menu

Ultimately if you want haddock over cod and you are a proper fish and chip lover then come here and ignore all the other reviews. Chips are chunky and yummy, batter was crispy and everything is cooked fresh. Curry sauce is English style lumpy curry sauce which is my preferred and all the food was amazing
