Outstanding fish & chips. Very enjoyable experience. The fish is freshly cooked and batter on the fish is light and delicious. The fries are nicely cooked. Lots of other food and side dishes available too. Plenty of seats. Parking spaces available outside the shop. You can also order online on their own app which is a good feature. The staff are super nice and polite. Highly recommend trying it

Walk-in to order for takeaway. Whilst they were busy, the manager was very professional in making sure to set expectations that it would be a 10 minute wait. I was pleased with the quality of the fish and chips which made it well worth the wait.

It’s not as good as it used to be. Got a super jumbo fish, battered chips and a pot of gravy. The battered chips were very battered and heavy. The fish batter was too soggy. A bit disappointing, normally it’s better.

The food tasted great, some chips we're abit mushy, great service, the food affordably priced too, was worth coming from my home town just for this (a 28 min train ride) would do again

We order fish and chip takeaway regularly, always fresh. Staff are polite. Fish is very greasy and soggy bothered time we get home though tastes nice

First time using this chippy, not many local fish n chip shops open on a Sunday. After reading the reviews took a ten min drive, arrived to a bright and busy shop. A warm welcome and a short wait for freshly cooked proper Yorkshire fish n chips. Will definitely be back and would whole heartedly recommend. Great portions, quality and price. Thanks 👍

Best fish and chips around I come all the way from Hyde park

Bit of a weird one, so inside is lovely all fresh and new looking, but the area it’s in …. I was scared to leave the car alone for too long! For me the chips were so chewy, like the skin was awful on them. Partner enjoyed his with curry could of just been that mine were dry but didn’t really enjoy them at all.

We went to this place ordered a fish butty the gave two childrens fish sticks inside a massive tea cake charges full price for it what a rip off every other mother hubbards give a whole fish snapped in half what a rip off

Very affordable prices, the serving of fish was enormous and loads of chips that go with it. Battered chicken was also good and serving was huge. Place is nice to eat at, though a bit hard to park outside and its situated in multicultural neighborhood as I see it. Loads of other good food in the neighborhood. Service was good. My only concern was that the chips were almost all soggy.

The food was delicious and exactly how I liked it,shop is clean and tidy staff was so polite and friendly so happy with my experience.

It's not a traditional fish and chips shop, they use vegetable oil which not only makes you feel sick with the dripping oil, it causes immune deficiencies (Omega 6 inflammatory oils) If you want Crohn's disease then this is the place for you! If you want proper fish and chips then find a place that uses beef dripping like chip shops are supposed to

So what is the next thing customers do is reach out to the main source the restaurant takeaway

The worst fish and chips served today.

Overpriced and undercooked chips. Tiny portions, scallops so thin and cremated that they couldn't be eaten. Wasn't worth 22 quid for 2 portions of chips, 2 scallops, a Battered sausage and 3 drinks. If you want a better chip shop in Harehills, go to Harehills Lane. Also, packaging it was in was poor, food was cold when it arrived. Normally wouldn't care but when it costs over 20 quid and the food is sub standard, it matters.

Ordered a meal from here but sadly the fish didn't taste right and fresh, it was dry, I usually never post feedbacks. We had to throw it all away in the bin. Never again!

Our visit yesterday was disappointing. The fish was not freshly cooked. And also the chips were not exactly hot. They too didn't taste as if they had just left the fryer. I know this shop is highly rated and I am sure that is well deserved but I cannot stress too much the importance of cooking the fish to order. Very friendly, nice staff.

Eat in and you’ll be taken care of by the outstanding staff who keep the place spotless. Decided to share the Jumbo Fish & Chips and you’ll be surprised at the generous portions. High-quality fish cooked to perfection by a chef that genuinely cares about quality, leaving you full without the greasy aftertaste from other places. Had to opt for taking the leftovers home!

One of the best local fish and chips places to go to, great food and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the drinks are never cold enough, the fridge doesn't work and it hasn't been working for the last few years.
