Morrisons Supermarket Cafe in Ipswich

Dirty. Faulty equipment that never seem to get repaired. Dysfunctional service. Staff try their best and are pleasant and popular with all ages but obviously not valued by managers. Probably want space for more shelves.

I was a bit apprehensive about the café after poor feedback from friends and family. I tried the small breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. A decent plate of food although the bacon was cold i particularly enjoyed the thick sliced toast and scrambled egg. Coffee well overpriced.

Clean cafe and decent good value food. Friendly staff and usually quick service. Recommend for a convenient meal if you're in the area.

Disgusting, lipstick on cups, dried on food on knives and forks, greasy table. Never again. There should be someone checking the place is clean at least. The food and drinks were hot , but chips looked nearly burnt.

Ask for decafe got a reply dont do it just tea or coffee with a right attitude no manners what's so ever

Disgusting, my partner has an allergy to egg and asked for egg to be swapped for extra mushrooms. The staff said they had to charge an extra £1 for the mushrooms, isn't fair considering an allergy. Anyway, food came he had 1 BUTTON MUSHROOM. 1 very small mushroom that we paid extra for. It was the ultimate breakfast, shameful charging extra.

The big breakfast has black pudding missing, we paid for toast but didn't receive any. Poached egg with avocado on toast was returned. The avocado was spread extremely thinly over the toast and each had a hard boiled egg on! When I spoke yo the staff they informed me the eggscame in like that!!!! Extremely disappointed.

Crockery, cutlery and tea pots very grubby. Worst thing was the state of the waitresses clothes. Looked like she hadnt changed them for weeks. The Morrisons black pinafore she was wearing was absolutely filthy and it put us off our food. There is no way this was soiled so badly in half a shift (we were there lunchtime). Food hygiene dept would have a field day there. Date of visit 27th Feb 2023 12.30pm.

Welcome to the age discrimination experience of Morrisons. Had I not been with my mother she had no idea as to how to use the table mounted scanning for a menu…the order screen on entrance to the place etc etc To the individuals involved in recruiting the general public as unpaid serfs I say “I get it”…free labour instead of paying staff…self checkouts being enforced as first option tell me all about the motives you follow…profit before service. You ain’t alone but I expected better. You are now in the avoid box

Not bad for a super market cafe the fish and chips is tasty but the bottled fizzy drinks are way over priced

Visited with my 2 years old this morning and I loved it. Thomas was lovely and very professional. I’ll come back as often as I can.

Congratulations to the two staff who were on duty at 09.09 this morning for doing their utmost best to keep the restaurant afloat. There were eight sets of customers in the queue to place their order on the one and only machine. Both customers in front of us had trouble working out how to place their orders, so we helped them to complete the transaction as there was no member of staff free to come to assist. The cutlery and teapots were either dirty or stained. The breakfast was passable, although not particularly good value. We won't bother going there again.

Ease of ordering, lots of vegetarian options too! Food arrived really quickly. Amazing sourdough toast with smashed avocado and poached eggs.....generous portions, presented nicely and tasted delicious. Serious 10/10

Worst eggs benedict ive ever eaten, muffin was not toasted bacon was not crispy, egg was ok, sauce was cold. Please try and make these better as i actually dont mind the cafe, ive also had a full english here before and was lovley.

Just called in for regular breakfast. Very friendly staff. Particularly the young lady who bought our food. Both enjoyed the visit and will be back

Awful cold breakfast, long wait for service and then for my meal, tried to speak to the non existed staff, on leaving noticed many plates with lots of left food, obviously same issue. Phoned to complain, hung up on me. Worst meal in a restaurant ever. Just awful service inedible food

My partner and I hadn't been to Morrisons for a long time so straight away we were impressed with the parking facilities and the abundance of parking places clearly marked and set out. Great start!It was around 3.00pm and as we were both feeling peckish we decided to grab a snack in the cafeteria. At the entrance there were lots of menus as well as pictures of various dishes with their prices on display boards. Each dish looked delicious, beautifully cooked and seemed good value for money, especially the breakfasts.We took a tray and made our way along the display of sandwiches, cakes and snacks which were all presented nicely and looked fresh.We decided to have fruit scones and coffee, not wanting to spoil our evening meal by eating too much. The scones were all individually wrapped in cellophane which was great, particularly because having bought unwrapped scones before from other outlets they had a tendency of becoming dry, crumbly and sometimes messy.After paying, we grabbed our coffees and headed for a vacant table. We'd just left the servery when we were approached by Michelle one of the two waitresses on duty who asked us if we'd like some jam to go with our scones. We both said “Yes” and in a flash she disappeared into the kitchen before returning with a generous dish of jam which she brought to our table. I went to pay her but with a smile she said it was ok.We sat down to have our snack and, stirring my coffee, I looked around and thought how nice the cafeteria looked. Spotlessly clean, bright interior décor, good facilities and well equipped with modern tables and chairs set out nicely under low lighting.As we sat eating and chatting, our coffees soon became cool so we popped them in a microwave set aside for use of customers. Great idea and very useful for re-heating your drinks rather than having to buy another.Our scones were superb. Moist, not too sweet, but very tasty and the coffee was milky, just the way we like it. Some cafes really skimp on the milk or water it down which makes their coffee insipid. But we thought the coffee here was quite exceptional for a supermarket cafeteria.We left the cafeteria having really enjoyed our snack and on the way out thanked Michelle who was working hard, busily clearing tables.Later, at home, I looked on Trip Adviser because I was curious at what reviews had been written about Morrisons cafeteria. I was amazed to see so many negative reviews, some downright damning! There were so many I began to think I'd been to a different cafeteria! But in all fairness you can only review from your own perspective, how you as an individual perceive things. Certainly, from my limited experience it was a well managed eatery serving great food, with good facilities and excellent service in lovely, bright, modern surroundings.Curiosity got the better of me and I needed to confirm if my previous experience was just a one-off, or was it something different?We returned to the cafeteria the following Sunday. We quickly ordered two big breakfasts and two latte coffees then went to pay. As we sat down at our table I glanced at my mobile and it was dead on 11am.We sat having a chat when to my surprise, Michelle appeared with our two breakfasts!It was 11.02 precisely. Just two minutes to get served! We expressed to her our surprise at being served so quickly then spoke about our previous pleasant experience because she hadn't realised who we were. After a brief word she smiled and said, “Enjoy your breakfasts” before speeding off into the kitchen. The breakfasts tasted as good as they looked. Hot, tasty and everything cooked perfectly. Egg, bacon, sausage, tomato, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, fried bread. and toast. A wonderful breakfast and at an amazing price! So, another great dining experience courtesy of Morrisons and definitely we will be returning. Already we have spread the word.In conclusion, I can only respond to those reviewers who have left negative comments regarding the service by saying;If at all possible, try getting to Morrisons later when there's not so many people wanting to eat at the same time. I realise it's difficult sometimes, particularly if you have young children, but it does make so much difference. I've said the same thing so many times in previous reviews. If there's only two waitresses serving, then at peak times there's bound to be delays and hold-ups which undoubtedly causes you frustration and anger, particularly if you're feeling really hungry. There's nothing worse than a long wait for your food to come out, especially when you're surrounded by others who are tucking into their meals. In addition, it's more than likely the kitchen staff can't keep up with the orders. It often happens!On the two occasions we ate at Morrisons, there were only two waitresses serving, Michelle and Taylor, and with only twelve people eating, they were both on the go non-stop either at the till taking orders, to and fro from the kitchen serving, clearing tables or cleaning generally – but even though, they still managed to be cheerful, polite, helpful and welcoming. Well done girls, you deserve every credit!Oh, and before I forget, importantly the toilets were super clean, if not immaculate and just like the cafeteria they were bright and spotlessly clean! This place is filthy. They are a supermarket, but are always out of items on the menu. Very frequently staff refuse to cook items. First thing in the morning they are out of rolls & poached eggs 'aren't ready'!!! On another occasion they were out of ice-cream. Very poorly managed. Trays and cups are dirty

Visited here lunch time with my partner. We both ordered a big breakfast, took over 45 minutes to come out which we wasn’t happy about but the food itself was one of the best breakfasts we both have had. The lady did apologise for the wait but we wasn’t really impressed. Only £1 for a large slushie which I think is really good! We will definitely be returning just hopefully next time won’t have to wait for as long..

Went for breakfast with my boyfriend we both ordered a cooked breakfast, no body told us the wait and we waited over a bloody hour for food! This is bloody ridiculous the staff have no clue what they are doing the place is a mess. Will not be returning.

Why take an order for it if you haven't got it then? Ok I said I will have the roast beef dinner we haven't got that either! Lamb shank no we ain't got that either! I ended up having half a roast chicken family members all had there's gammon egg chips,prawn jacket potato,scampi Chip all served up value was excellent service needs to be improved the couple beside us had been waiting 45 minutes they were so fed up Waiting they got there money back! The girl at the till never told the cooks because ten minutes later their food turned up what a waste of food time and effort! Come on morrisons you will be losing valuable customers who won't bother shopping there either if you get a bad experience the young couple were furious! As for our experience will be eating there again but will insist they have got what we want first so not to be disappointed, good health to all

We decided to stop for a meal, my husband ordered full English breakfast, i ordered egg,chips,beans and sausages, this was on a Friday teatime, restaurant wasn't too busy, staff friendly.We waited 30 minutes for meal to be brought over to our table. We had a choice of how our eggs would be cooked, we both ordered poached, when our meals arrived, my husband had poached and i had fried, i mentioned to the waitress that i actually ordered poached not fried, she replied "oh I'm sorry we have run out of poached!!" I couldn't believe what i was hearing!! Also i didn't get the beans i also mentioned this and she laughed and said "she's new"A bit of a let down to be honest, Myself and a few friends had made arrangements to meet here next week for afternoon tea. I can say we are making arrangements to go elsewhere!!!

My sister and I had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it, we had the grilled breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, hash brown and beans and a nice cup of hot chocolate to wash it all down. The lady taking our order was really polite and helpful and chatty too. I hadn’t dined here in a while but my sister eats here quite often, we both were satisfied with our meals and will hopefully be back soon.

Nice clean and airy surroundings with a simple breakfast menu situated at the entrance of the supermarket so you can't miss it.

We went for a coffee just after 2pm last Sunday and it was closing but just got served . Took my 3 year old grandson on Wednesday had to wait 20 minutes in the queue and then a further 40 minutes for the food he was good but was past hungry by the time the meal arrived.

A small breakfast took over 50mins to arrive and that was only because I reminded the staff i was waiting. Food was cold with the look of a plate that had been left undet a hotplate. Service was poor too they didnt seem to know what they were doing. I ordered a tea and when i asked where i get the tea bags the lady used her bare hands to get one out of a large plastic tub near the till????? Will never eat there again. Very disappointed.

I had to wait in the queue to pay for at least 20 minutes, as there was only one lady on the till who informed us there was a 30 minute wait for any hot food. The people in front of me ended up leaving because they had to wait so long. I then had to wait another 20 minutes for a mug for the hot chocolate I had paid for. At least 5 people were also waiting for others items including plates and cutlery and as a result a number of people cancelled their orders and

The worst fresh fish counter I’ve been to , bought a stone bass at £9/ kg paid over £11 for a fish. Got home 10 mins later opened the sealed bag and it stunk !!! I called the branch to tell them and was told by a lady it was fresh in today , I explained to her fresh fish doesn’t stink but she kept persisting that it was fresh in today .. obviously not I’m going to return this fish as I’m not feeding it to my children, but the attitude and the reaction was not good enough. I’d like to see if she smelt it would she feed it to her kids I bet not.

What a depressing experience. Called in for coffee whilst family were shopping. You would think that the provision of a straightforward cup of coffee would be simple. The woman at the till advised that she couldn't take my payment and would have to go in the kitchen and find someone who could. Finally a woman appeared who was very pleasant but appeared to be doing everything from the till, to cooking to serving. Then the self-service coffee machines were out of milk and then wouldn't work.

Go regularly for fish and chips which is better than most fish and chip shops cooked fresh not under heated lights. Friendly service Cakes good too and nice cuppa Good value for money

We went to this cafe today and was very much looking forward to the mushroom wellington Sunday lunch . However as per the previous 5 visits this was not available. When I asked the cashier why it wasn’t available I got a response of “ I dunno” !!!! Then was told they hadn’t ordered in . WHY HAVE IT ON THE MENU THEN !!!!!!!!!!! I know this is a supermarket cafe , but come on . Offer one Sunday lunch vegetarian dish and never have it available. It’s discrimination. Spoke to customer services and apparently there’s stocking issues . For a year !!!! If your veggie steer well clear - also a zero for cleanliness (see pictures)

Nothing much to recommend about this cafe.Serves it's purpose as a convenient place to eat after shopping.

It’s nothing fancy and isn’t all that brilliant. But for quick grub it will do. A proper cafe would be better.

I went to this cafe on my own on Friday night at about 6.15, bearing in mind they shut at 7. I asked what was available in the hot food range and very few meals were available. Chicken tikka, scampi and chips, macaroni cheese, lasagne and steak and ale pie was all that was available as all the other meals had run out. I choose the scampi and added bread and butter with it, all of this came to £6.70 as I managed to get the evening meal deal for £6 which is an evening meal and a drink for £6, the bread and butter was 70o extra which overall value.

My hubby, son, mother and myself came here to eat lunch today on the bank holiday Monday and wondered if it would be busy or not but it was very quiet which was nice for us.

Go here a couple of times a year as we live 20 miles away but its nice as you can do your shop and have a feed as well.

I knew I would be in the vicinity at 6pm last night so I looked up their internet site to see when the café closes. It says 7pm on there. I duly travelled to Morrison's , bought a newspaper and went through to the café to find it was closed. It was 6pm!

I've been here many times and this was by far the worse. My salmon order was taken and then told that there isn't any so ordered the fish and chip. It's was fried so hard that there actually wasn't any fish left I side zero white fish. Was charged for coleslaw for the jacket potato yet I said no to it but she still charged me an extra 60p. The lady was rather slow and not very welcoming.

Have been here many times . However I would just once like to sample the mushroom Wellington ! Please !!!!

We came there to get a little bit rest after shopping. They have a nice coffee and ice cream. We enjoyed all time in the coffee shop

Fish and chips and peas for £5.25. Cooked well. Arrived in 10 mins and were delicious. This cafe can get very busy so we tend to go after the lunch rush around 2pm. Only 4 others in the cafe at that time.

We eat in this cafe about once a month it's ok it's not great it's not fantastic it's just food at a good price basically it's the stuff they still actually in the shop nothing wrong with it at all quick service everything you need

He estado muchas veces. Tengo pescado y patatas - el pescado es siempre muy sabroso con pasta crujientes las patatas fritas, pero pueden a veces ser pasada. La comida es a veces tibia - mi hermana salchichas y puré de patatas y la pedimos salchichas eran casi frío. Tienes que esperar un rato para la comida para llegar. Las tartas aunque delicioso. Chocolate caliente es increíble. En general, las bebidas y los postres son buenos, pero la comida es cuestionable de vez en cuando.

Have been to Morrison Grimsby many times . But on our last visit not pleased at all .All knife and forks where all dirty all had food on them I gave them all to someone and nothing was done about it in the end o got some knife and fork and washed them my self under hot water for the tea .Lady on the till was livery food was ok but not as good as normal tables where dirty too o cleaned that to myself .Come on Morrison you can do better I no you can .

Excellent sandwiches and coffee, For the price fresh and very nice....just a bit if of shopping from the supermarket so a quick visit to the cafe for coffee and snack, very impressed, will definitely visit again when in Ipswich..

Oh dear. A return visit with my elderly friend was a disaster. Service poor, food shockingly bad, poor value for money. My meal was supposed to be salmon, new potatoes and peas which sounded good. It actually arrived after a lengthy wait, tiny portions of a grey tasteless piece of lukewarm fish, three minute wrinkly reheated potatoes, peas OK. Worst of all, the food was sitting in a puddle of unidentifiable clear liquid. Quite one of the worst meals I have had the misfortune to experience. My friend's ham, egg, chips and beans was marginally more appetising. The ham was OK, egg fried rock hard, beans a sloppy mess of congealed mush, chips OK. This was a shocking meal, Morrison's should hang their heads in shame. No care, no basic cooking skills,nothing to redeem it. Never again.

We love having breakfast here, the new cafe style and the friendly staff as well as the great value for money, make it our favourite start to the day.

My nephew loves this cafe and always requests breakfast here. The food was good and served quickly. Staff were helpful when requesting to swap items in the menu and asked for help. The lady serving also thanked us for coming when we left and it was genuine. She was lovely. Area was clean, it wasn't too busy. All in all a great breakfast. X

had to Waite some time for food & lots of choices sold out at lunch time. could not even get a Jacket Potato even tho they sell potatoes in The supermarket.

It's not the lvy but still it can be good.It is a Supermarket Cafe after all we must not forget that.Keep things in perspective.

Two adults and three children visited for lunch, we were told there would be a twenty minute wait, which was fine, the food was fresh and hot, no complaints from the fussiest child, her pizza would have satisfied me, it was such a good size.

Not expecting too high a standard at this supermarket café but pleasantly surprised. three courses for £7 was an absolute bargain (although had to go to customer services to get a small refund as over charged). Starters were prawn cocktail, brown bread and butter and a little salad - absolutely fine. turkey dinner with all the trimmings - particularly good stuffing and pig in blanket. The only reason I have marked it down is because it was served to us cold. it had been on the pass for too long without hot plates - not ever going to get to us hot. only one of us had the Xmas pud with rum sauce - really nice - total bargain.

Well what a pleasant surprise - haven't visited since the February 2015 disaster but a 3 course Christmas lunch for £7 per head was hard to resist. The service was friendly and efficient and the food amazing value. An appetising well presented prawn cocktail, roast turkey with all the trimmings, rounded off by a very enjoyable Christmas pudding and custard - all acceptably hot. Hope it wasn't a one off improvement!

We went to morrisons at Ipswich on Sunday and had Sunday lunch . On the menu was Christmas lunch , £6 for 2 courses or £7 for 3 courses we decided to go for 2 courses well it was amazing a beautiful prawn cocktail for starters and turkey and all the trimmings for main . It was lovely piping hot and beautiful presented. The service was first class. I would recommend it to any one couldn't have had better in a 5 star .

Where do I start?We visited early afternoon after shopping. Noticed tables were not cleared and the floor was dirty.We approached the lady at the till and I asked if I could have lasagna"NO LASAGNA!". She surprised me with her reaction thank goodness they had my second choice scampi. "20 MINUTES WAIT!" she shouted again. OK we sat down and waited.....thirty minutes then my husbands meal was incomplete.The food was actually quite tasty. What a shame the staff are not trained properly it could be so much better.

Absolutely awful serves the cheapest morrisons own brand and by the time it arrives the food is lukewarm at best third time of trying the cafe in hope of an improvement but no change

We called here when we arrived for our holiday.Menu was reasonably priced and was great for a lunchtime snack.

This is definitely not fast food. Queued for ages but can't work out why it was so slow as the cashier was only ringing up items you had to make your own hot drinks after paying for them. Needs management to sort out the bottleneck.

The cafe is very clean and fresh and offers a good range of breakfast and lunch dishes at sensible prices. They offer a kids eat free menu after 3pm with an adult's meal. The coffee is really frothy. I did find the jacket potato a little too cool for my taste. The breakfast looked good.

Elderly friend and I visited for a quick lunch. Ordered from light bite menu, one plate 3 sausages, beans, chips fried egg, other plate gammon, chips, egg and beans. Both of excellent quality. Staff polite but poor girl was attempting to keep too many plates spinning if you excuse the pun. Waiting on table, clearing crockery, manning the till, without any help. She needed some back up. Shame as food deserved better.

Great lunch - reasonably priced menu, freshly cooked. Worth every penny. Good service from staff too.

Stopped here for a quick drink. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Cafe laid out well with plenty of seating. Would happily go here again!

Visited there about 1.00pm today 13/10/2015. my wife and I both ordered an ultimate breakfast which is a normal big breakfast priced at £4.50 but to include toast and either a small glass of orange juice or a hot drink for a total of £5 each. we eventually reached the till (about 6 or 7 people ahead of us) the lady on the till rang up an amount in excess of £13 instead of the correct £10. When I pointed out the special offer she was unaware the offer existed and said nobody had told her. She then went and checked, came back but was unable to cancel the till and once again had to seek help. Having finally got this ordeal sorted out we seated ourselves and waited for the food to be served, we waited and we waited, in all we waited over half an hour before we received our food and even then one plate did not have fried bread which is part of the breakfast. Did not bother to requested it be added as wanted to get home today and on the current form it could have been another half hour. I heard at least two people send food back as it was cold. From time of arrival to being served and consuming our food took in excess of one hour. Anyone who had visited there in their lunchbreak would have been late back to work.

Not much to tell, its cheap mainly pre packed frozen meals heated up, its better price wise than Sainsbury's cafe also on edge of town and at busy times often have to wait 30 mins or so. Meals are edible, sometimes get surprised and are actually tasty...lolIts a case of get what you pay for, preferred it when they had condiments on table, however type of patron probably responsible for their removal. Would like to see seats recovered in a waterproof material for peace of mind and easy clean.

50 minutes for a fried breakfast! After I enquires on much longer I watched another 26 people be served 2 of which are their food & left before I got mine!Food was either under or over cooked. Bacon Rare. Eggs still covered with raw egg white. Black Pudding so well done I couldn't cut it, it just shattered!Go eat at a McDonalds!

I have eaten here on many occasions and have always been totally satisfied. The fish & chips is always freshly cooked and at a very reasonable price. Service can be a little slow at busy times, but the food is always worth waiting for.

My daughters sausage, mash and gravy had no gravy. My hunters chicken stack consisted of a piece of hard chicken (with some sort of clear jelly underneath), a slice of warm cheese and a big squirt of bbq sauce. Oh and they forgot the bacon. But for £5 for both of us to eat plus drinks I'm not complaining, I'm only advising. A bit of training for the cook would be beneficial. and maybe some counselling for the 2 very depressed looking members of staff

Came here for breakfast for a change (rather than my usual haunt - Tesco's), and it was a mixed affair! I have been here before in the past, there has been a few changes - the décor and the menu, but none of these are very inspiring. The seats are quite ropey (my seat & table rocked a bit), décor bland not like how it was a while ago which was old-world style, but the food is ok - yes the sausages were microwaved instead of fresh but were hot and fairly tasty. Service was very speedy - makes a change and staff seemed quite friendly. Not the best supermarket breakfast I have ever had (best prize goes to Tesco Copdock) but not the worst (that prize goes to ASDA - truly awful) but this is somewhere in the middle! Also: the toilets need urgent refurbishment or a deep clean at the least.

Terrible lunch today. We waited over 20 mins for the food and when the scampi and chips arrived, chips and peas were cold. Only redeeming feature was the tasty scampi and economic price. Could do so much better and impression is of demoralised staff and overworked cook.

Go there every Thursday. Treat myself to a breakfast and some'me time'. Staff always lovely. They can never do enough for you. It is not uncommon to get my coffee or any other items and then get to the till to pay while at the same time order some hot food. As always this Thursday i saw nobody to serve until i got to the till. So with my coffee on my tray i proceeded to order my food. The woman at the till, who strangely i had never seen before told me that she was unabl to take my order there and i had to rdurn to the menu counter to place it. I told her this is a first to which she told me it is the rule. I said," what about my coffee?". She said,"sorry not my fault." I angrily placwd the coffee on the counter in front of her and said,"fine i shall get another coffee too. As i don't like cold coffee!" When i got to the menu counter and told the girl who was now there and about to serve a poor gentlemen who could tell that i was cross and offered to let me order ahead of him, she backwd her colleague up. I was also told that the staff have asked management for bigger signs to inform customers where to order from. I have looked everywhere and until I d now..... nowhere are there any signs!!I did go to customer service to complain. The member of staff who i finally talked to was very busy manning the cigarette counter too. Therefore under some pressure. However she did take see why i was unhappy and asked the advice of an equally busy passing co-wirker who told her to reimburse me what i had spent. She tgen asked me how much that was. I told her what i had bought but (don't know about you) unfortunately i am not in the habit of returning anything i have 'eaten' abd therefore did not have the receipt which she asked me for!She offered me a reimbursement of £5 which although did not completely cover what i had spent, i accepted as i could see her pressure and was in danger of being late to work! I shall return next week as usual and look for the signs. I will demand to see the manager if there are none or if i see someone ordering at the till! I

Breakfast before shopping is a good idea. When we arrived one of the staff went for "his break" and was not seen again during the thirty minutes we were there. There was only one person front of house and she was taking orders and apologising for the problems with the coffee machine. She also explained that the cups had stains and lipstick on them because of no salt in the dishwasher. The tables by the window had not been cleared and were not touched while we were there. However, they have a lot of tables so customers were still finding somewhere to sit. Our breakfast, which arrived in good time, was fine and was not bad value. As we left I did fear for the line of people waiting to order. It could be that more staff would appear and all would be well but that would not repair the coffee machine or clean the crockery ! We suspect that Morrison's are trying to save on wages at the cost of their customers. This would be false economy because if we have breakfast elsewhere then we would shop elsewhere (and we spent over £100).
