We haven't eaten in this restaurant for over 12 months due to our very poor experience last time. We only went again as our granddaughter was hungry. Firstly the trays were dirty and hadn't been wiped. We then had to wait for someone to take our order and this was only done after our granddaughter went to the kitchen to fetch someone. Next there were no forks, probably due to the fact that most of the tables hadn't been cleared off. The teller said there weren't any clean one and proceed to collect some off the tables and took them to be cleaned. We then waited for approximately 20 minutes to be served. The food was very mediocre and nit value for money. Our general opinion is that the staff don't really want to be there and this is probably due to shortages.....After our last very critical review last year, we won't ever be eating here again...

I asked for 2 boiled eggs n toast eggs came they were very runny as a cracked them . Sent them back asked for 2 more hard boiled. They came n they were the same had a refund. Shocking. Place was dirty plates on all the tables we had to wipe our table before we sat down .. discusting

I honestly don't think that some of Morrisons staff understand what the word 'service' means. Having ordered 2 x fish and chips and 1 x chicken at the cafe till, we were informed that we a) We couldn't substitute mushy peas for ordinary ones, unless we ordered at the self service machine. b) There was no tartar sauce. c) We couldn't substitute peas for beans. d) We couldn't have a reduction if we didn't have the peas. e) There wasn't any chicken. So, not off to a good start. We then waited about 15 minutes to be served 3 x fish and chips. We asked the waitress for tomatoe / mayo sauce and vinegar. All three of us said the chips and mushy peas were lukewarm. There used to be a micro wave, but this has now been removed. After waiting ages for the meal to be warmed snd the condiments, I went to see where it was. Whilst doing this, the waitress delivered just 2 x vinegar sachets to the table. She was informed that we had also asked for tomatoe / mayo sauce. She then went and fetched two of each, forgetting that there were three of us. Two of our party had now finished their meals, so I decided to cancel my order and received a refund. Fortunately a manager appeared and I informed him that it was his responsibility to ensure that the restaurant was running efficiently. It was obvious that the staff were working on remote and that the presentation and service were well below par. This probably explains the fact why the cafe was three quarters empty. A few years ago this restaurant used to be full and although the service has never been exceptional, it was much better than it is now....

Went to milehouse Lane cafe on 21.3.23 at 10am before doing our shopping got a table it was dirty asked to have it cleaned the lady with glasses well what can I say looked at me like I shouldn't ask I said to this lady I will do do it if you want she just mumbled to herself she had no customer service at all really miserable we would say that there is not enough staff to cover the cafe should have 1 serving 1 cleaning tables 1 bringing food out the other girl what was there was trying to do everything sorry for this review but it needs to be said not enough staff

Absolutely abysmal service, ordered a breakfast 2 hours ago, drivers been at the restaurant for 45 minutes,delivery time said 20-35 minutes. No option number to ring, I've tried 4 and they've referred me to others, only to refer me to others. No cancel order option either. Currently still waiting but not feeling very confident as they close in an hour. Maybe using a number that reaches an actual human being would help.👍

Upon entering the cafe in morrisons i was served by a staff member who came over with a 'chip on her sholders' i asked to moderate the big breakfast, after a response of you need to choose your own and pay 99p for each item, so ok went through the process which was painfull the staff member no customer service skills shown in that it came over to me no thankyou anything else etc etc paid wentvto get knife and fork only to find the knife was appalling still food on from previous breakfast poor not cooked enough. As a customer service manager in my work i find the h&s cleanliness poor . Never again a visit to this store

can not fault the service and the breakfast was fab , due to us not looking at the menu we ordered extra taost , but so nice we eat it all , just all round good and at a fab price , dont do breakfast very often with the family but its a defo next week

Went in half term as there is an offer where kids eat free. Ordered large fish and chips twice for adults. This was the smallest portion I have ever had anywhere for fish and chips ( more like kids portion). The frozen chips were tasteless. It really isn't an offer if the portion sizes are havlved! My son 10 had a child meal and I had to buy him extra food as it was no where near enough. 4 chicken nuggets that were really popcorn pieces of chicken. The bill was nearly £20 and I left wishing that we had gone to Milehouse Fish Bar instead.

Without doubt one of the worst breakfast rolls. The roll was stale and inedible. The bacon was undercooked and the sausages were flavourless. Avoid the food if at possible. A positive note was the happy attitude of the staff, however I suspect this was down to them not being able to eat the food they serve. Lucky people.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel the low ratings for this wonderful family-run soft play are completely unfair. As a local, I visit regularly with my three children, and we always look forward to the delicious homemade cheesecake—it’s my favorite! The food is great quality and excellent value, and my kids absolutely love the experience. It can get a bit crowded, especially during parties, but they’re incredibly affordable, and the kids have a fantastic time. The person mentioned in past reviews is no longer involved in the business. It’s now run by two brothers, one of whom manages the place and offers outstanding customer service. Some of the soft play could use a little TLC, but in my opinion, they’re perfectly safe. Despite the small space, the variety of activities available is exceptional. It’s affordable prices great staff and reasonable prices, mean that it’s a godsend for me and my family.
