Morrisons Newcastle-under-Lyme - Goose Street Cafe in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Awful. Cold poached eggs and cold toast for one meal. The 2 other veggie breakfasts came without butter/spread and was missing half of the ingredients....£6 for 2 veg sausages a hash brown a brown dollop of avacado and 1 slice of dry cold toast. Won't be coming back...£17 wasted.

Dirty cafe, struggled to find a table that was clean so had to move someone else's dirty plates. Food took an absolute age, 40 mins for a bacon bap which was ok but the 2 rashers of bacon were so thin and avocado, eggs and toast. The toast was just warm bread and the avo was spread like butter it was that thin. 2 stars for the eggs. Coffee cold. Dreadful experience will not return again. The cafe was busy yet I think the person cooking the food went on a break as for 20 minutes not a single plate of food came out the kitchen.

the sticky toffee pudding was DRY will never understand how sticky toffee pudding can be dry they managed to burn a steak pie would not recommend go milehouse instead they also don’t have forks or cups the knifes aren’t even clean i would rather lick the sink clean than eat that no offence but full offence was poo lol

Well the food looked nothing like the menu pictures but it was nice food. Fish and chips were very good, light batter on the fish not greasy. Peas were a bit bland and cold. Tables are dirty and sticky, best to take a wipe and clean your table. Not bad though.

If there was a minus star button id press it !! Local Morrisons but never eaten in their Cafe before and won't be eating there again. From the second we collected the unwashed trays to my 16 year old Son saying under his breath "Boy its minging in here" we really shouldn't have got as far as the till but we did as we were meeting with a Friend for breakfast. The poor man who was on the till, table cleaning and taking all food to the tables couldn't have been more plesant and helpful so ile dedicate the one star im forced to give to him! He was literally a one man band with one other in the kitchen. Tables were dirty but dont think that was his forte tbh. Our Friends breakfast arrived a good ten minutes before mine and my Son's Cheeseburger which was bad when we were together ordering and gave the same table number. When the food did come it didn't really live up to what is shown on the photo's, especially my Son's, Cheese burger was very bland. No sauces on show, you are given one brown and one red sachet with your meal which doesn't cover a button mushroom 🙄 My Son and me didn't get any so had to ask. My black pudding was missed, but I couldn't bring myself to mention it to poor man as he was already run off his feet. He did bring it out apologising 10 minutes later but by this time the dirty cutlery was already putting me off what was infront of me 🤢 Bacon not seen the pan, stale beans, over cooked egg, undercooked sausages and slimy mushrooms....ile not go on. We all paid for a large fizzy drink, not cheap to find them lacking fizz an the machine not functioning properly. Poor road runner, the man said it had probably not been cleaned out and told us to get a bottle of pop instead. He then closed it down, I hope im not ill as I drank mine before he offered us the bottles. My breakfast at £7.49 certainly wasn't worth it. My photo's unfortunately make the food look edible 🤣 My Son said he hoped his cheesecake hadn't gone off. Basically more staff are required including a cleaner and a decent Chef!! Would not advice to waste your money here nor risk being poorly from lack of cleanliness! The one at the Milehouse isn't much better but has more Staff.
