Been lots of times and found it good but today was the opposite. Bacon overcooked. Mushroom undercooked. Egg hard. Hash browns raw inside. Everything luke warm. So disappointed.

Bad breakfast. Easily the worst I’ve ever had. All over cooked except the beans. Butter supplied for non existent toast.

Good customer service but food is very bland. It’s like they use there cheapest products for there breakfasts. It fills you up but that’s about it

We had all day breakfast which was excellent. Sausages were amazing. Came with a drink. All for £10 for two. Wheelchair friendly. It’s a pity the tables weren’t cleared more regularly

Called in while travelling back from Derriford hospital. Mum loved the fish and chips. She couldn't fault it. I had the all day breahfast as I'm diabetic. There was very little I could safely eat while keeping carbs low as everything was eather with chips or bread. Having said that, the breakfast was nice, could have been hotter but nice. Will definitely be back as cheap and easy.

Whilst visiting my daughter in cornwall we stopped for a bite to eat. I have used morrisons all over the south of England because its quick and clean. Lasagna and salad was fantastic so much salad fresh well cut lovely and saturday morning we stopped for breakfast just a bacon roll but it was full of well cooked bacon.I was impressed for a supermarket cafe it was really nice.

As we were passing through Tavistock on our way home we decided to stop at Morrisons for shopping and a meal as it was nearing 6 pm. I waited at counter until an assistant came to me. I said I wanted to order food and was told to do it at the till. Two assistants came behind the counter and went away without seeing to me. Eventually the same assistant who had directed me to the till came to take my order! I was then told that I could not order an All-Day Brunch (surely one of the most popular meals on the menu?) as there had been no bacon that day. Having just completed our shopping in the store, including bacon, could some not have been either purchased or transferred to the café from instore? Having received our meals I must say that both were very nice (Sausage and Egg, Fish & Chips) BUT I was sitting with a view of the counter and what was happening behind. There is no dedicated “non-food handling” member of staff. One lady seemed to be in charge overall of the cooking and dealt solely with that. All the other assistants man the till, serve customers, wait on the tables and help with plating up the food. I saw an assistants go from handling the till, including cash payment, straight to preparing bread and butter, plating up burgers in a bun which they handled as well as guiding chips onto the plates with their hands. I don’t know the hygiene rating for The Café, but it would not have passed muster on our visit.

The breakfast was ok but the plates were stone cold. I was surprised that porridge was off the menu when this is a well stocked supermarket. I asked for an extra teabag as I like builders tea and was charged for another pot - must remember to bring my own as I don't normally pay £1.20 for one teabag!

Unbeatable value, consistant quality and great service.Morrisons cafe has come on leaps and bounds in recent years. Supermarket cafe fare was always very generic - quick, convenient and edible but rarely delicious. Nowadays at Morrisons you could easily think you are in a 'gastro pub'!The value is unbeatable - a family of four dining after 3pm can all get a delicious meal, with drinks all round and fruit for the kids for just £12!And that's not just limited to budget options... You can have a beautifully cooked, tasty lamb shank that falls off the bone, salmon, or many other indulgent treats. You would struggle to buy the lamb shanks alone at the butcher's counter for the price you pay! And the fish and chips is always good, better than the majority of Devon and Cornwall's fish and chip shops in my opinion.I have been saying it's unbeatable for years but the new coffee machines with freshly ground beans and the perfect brew every time have proven me wrong and sweetened the deal even more!!!I love Morrisons cafe.

Dropped in at 4.15, restaurant quiet at this time. Husbands Lasagne was very dark brown.black on the top and all around the dish as if it had been overcooked or warmed up. He said the body of the Lasagne was OK so ate it. Staff were very friendly.

Just had our breakfast in this cafe, served by a very cheerful Kersty, a warm welcome, I had a coffee and my wife had a tea, to with her scrabbled eggs on toast, seemed a large portion, I had a full English breakfast two eggs, two sausages mushrooms tomato has browns and fried bread, (what diet?) and quickly served to us again by Kirsty who was very busy. The total for this was ten pounds ten pence, that's what I call a good deal.

Wife and I called in here to do some shopping and thought we would grab a bite to eat as well. Wife ordered Salmon, which came with peas and new potatoes. Well when it arrived, I had never seen grey peas or yellow potatoes before. It was so over cooked that it was inedible. Don't eat here. total waste of money..

Morrison have a really popular facility here but don't seem to care much about running it properly. Service is usually very slow and always seems to be under staffed. Food is good when it arrives but more often than not, my coffee is a long and distant memory before it arrives, regardless of how many customers there are. Too frequent equipment failures and extreme slowness at fixing. A good in store cafe is a real bonus for a supermarket but can't be treated like any other department, there is a knack to it. Just go out and find someone who knows about running a café and let them get on with the job.

We stopped off at the Tavistock Morrisons for a quick bite to eat on our journey back home. We often eat at our local Morrisons and have always had good meals. However, at Tavistock the poor "chef" was rushed off his feet and his sullen female colleague wasn't helping him. She had no sense of humour nor willingness to support him or clear tables etc and didn't utter one word to us as she rang our items through the till and took our money. The "chef" was not in a kitchen behind the scenes but was working in the area visible to customers. He was reheating what appeared to be pre-packed curries and there were empty containers abandoned on the side - this didn't offer the customer the impression of a clean, well managed kitchen. The fish and chips were, however, being cooked as orders were placed. We waited a while to be served and then there were no napkins available nor knives. It was the chef who had to leave the kitchen/restaurant area to get some. Another family gave up waiting for their order due to the lengthy time it was taking. Not a great experience at this branch unfortunately. When our fish and chips arrived the fish was very small and didn't offer brilliant value.

The management REALLY need to get a grip of the cafe.Had to wipe my own table. Used the coffee machine for a coffee, only to get foamy milk. Went to pick up cutlery, all dirty with no forks. Many people clearly waiting a long time for mainly warmed up items.Member of staff plating food had less get go than a snail going backwards.Breakfast turned up nice and hot (for a change, but more fat than meat.Only saving grace happened to be the person on the till.I somehow managed to leave my table cleaner, and more presentable than how I found it?????Just as well this Breakfast was a freebie, or else I would have been asking for my money back. Lack of staff or not, pretty no effort AT ALL could be seen anywhere, but then when it quietened down, suddenly 2 more members of staff appeared out of nowhere.Terrible.

We are on holiday in the area and wanted somewhere that sells a reasonably priced good cooked breakfast. I'm a great fan of Morrisons' cafes normall but hesitated as to whether I should bother with Morrison's Tavistock cafe after seeing the poor reviews. Well I decided to risk it and I'm very glad I did! The restaurant looks like it has been recently refurbished and has a cheerful teapot shabby chic theme which is very pleasant .The food and drinks was up to Morrisons usual good standard and the service we received was faultless- friendly and efficient. We would definitely come back here.

I guess I could have been lucky that I went first thing in the morning but, I would like to think that the service has improved, as it has been a problem previously,we didn't have to wait to long at all for the food which was good although not as hot as I would have liked, sadly the coffee was awful, no taste at all.

My dad, sister and I went into the cafe to try it out for dinner after we were shopping. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, as my 3 year old sister is extremely fussy! She was understanding of the situation and got us a meal my sister really enjoyed! My dad and I had the fish and chips, and we're surprised at the dish! We had a huge portion of chips and the fish I assumed must have been from a whale as it was also ginormous! The fish was cooked beautifully and the batter wasn't greasy, the Chios were also cooked very well.I didn't expect much from the meal as it was so cheap, but in all honesty it was better than most fish and chip shops I've been to!Highly recommend if you want a decent meal!

Love Morrisons for their breakfast in the cafe normally and have been to many previously but this one was dreadful. We ordered a traditional breakfast and received the wrong items the employee was not apologetic - we had also ordered toast which she managed to burn twice (fortunately she didn't offer it to us just binned it) and as she took so long with the third lot we said not to bother. The was no apology either. The tables were not cleared in a timely manner and they even got another table order incorrect woo which has disabled people on it who because agitated too.But we gave it another try later in our holiday as it may have been a one off but no! So beware of what you order and the waiting time. No managerial support appeared to be present.

I am very disgusted with the manager and her staff. The staff were parked in the disabled bays or the trolley's were. I am disabled plus I had my 81 year old father and my 74 year old mother. I spoke to the manager and said some of the staff parked there because they work until 2 am. I visited at 1.30pm on a Saturday and had to make them walk as I had park quite a way away.

A special dinner to celebrate 25 years of the village orchard- and the Drake came up trumps as always. Being a non-meat eater, a special fish dish was produced just for me, and it was superb, with sea bream and samphire- absolutely delicious. Full marks to the Drake Manor Inn
