Food was we'll overcooked, like it had been kept warm all day, not recommended complained to the till operative and they brought more bacon out which wasn't quite as bad.

Waited 45 minutes for poached eggs on toast ‘order got lost’ but when food arrived the eggs and the toast were both hard and cold… Not to mention the service was poor! I understand it’s not a restaurant but a cafe, but still doesn’t justify cold hard food especially when it’s pricy enough for what you receive!

After visiting here many times I am very disappointed with this visit. It may have been Hogmanay however the service was terrible. We were not told we had to order via the app only informed of this after waiting 30 minutes to place our order. Not once did anyone come ask was everything ok. When we received our main meal we were not offered any condiments. Staff generally lacking any kind of service towards customers they were very unhelpful. Staff not listening to our requests.

Went in for breakfast offer. Dreadful service, long wait, filthy condition. I suppose you could say if you eat in a supermarket what do you expect, but cleanliness is non- negotiable. The quality of food is OK as long as you dont mind it cold and dried out.

Went here for a lunch. As it is cheap and a cafe in a supermarket I wasn’t expecting the food to be incredible, but the lunches are genuinely just ready meals they’ve stuck in the microwave. My chicken tikka was served to me with chips instead of naan bread as they had run out of naan. An alternative to naan wasn’t offered beforehand the chips were just served as I was being informed of the change. It’s just a generally badly run, badly organised cafe too.

We stopped here on Saturday on our way to Truckfest. I ordered the large breakfast and my wife ordered the small breakfast. The woman that was serving me asked if I wanted black pudding or haggis, fried bread or toast. I had haggis and toast. We ordered a pot of tea and a cup of black coffee. The cafe was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to do our own pot of tea and cup of black coffee ☕️ from the machine’s in the cafe,we had to wait about 10 minutes for the food to be cooked and the staff brought it to us.The food was very good and very tasty,it was that good we went back for breakfast on Sunday.

We had a 'choose your own' breakfast, and at 70p an item we expected a little more. We had to wait a few minutes before anyone came to the counter to serve us as it is not frequently watched on manned. On ordering, I had asked for fried bread and my dad two slices of toast. When it arrived about one minute later (a little too quick for a quality breakfast), although expecting a slice, I received half a slice of bread, and my dad one slice of soggy toast. Very cheaky! Half a slice of bread for the cost of more than a whole loaf...At the speed ot suggests most things had been sitting for a while. Also, the poached egg was also the smallest, oddest thing I had ever seen and was overcooked, so no runny yolk for my small slice of toast! Overall we were very disappointed, and felt a little hard done by. Wouldn't be back or recommend it for breakfast.

Very pleasant people, food always hot, and nicely presented. Plus the actual shop ideal to wander round after your meal. We always breakfast there when staying Dreghorn Travelodge.

All of the food stuff that make Scotland the heart attack capital of Europe are available here. Plus baked potatoes. Really not sure I can recommend it, but in the scheme of things, it's exactly what you'd expect.

Good fish and chips. Crispy batter which melts in the mouth. Lamb shank and lasagne have both been very nice too. There is an area in the rear of the cafe that has a microwave for heating baby food/bottles.

Came for breakfast. Chose wee Scottish breakfast. Lots on the plate. Too much for me. Ordered at till. Young man apologised saying 20 minute wait. Given a number to display at table. Cafe was very busy. The kitchen staff worked their socks off. Breakfast arrived with an apology for wait. Well it was worth the wait. Excellent breakfast. Cooked just right. Highly recommend.

I visited here for breakfast, close to the Travelodge which doesn't serve breakfast. This was convenient. I was there at 8am when it opened, only one member of staff on, however didn't have a long wait. It was good value, but nothing special. I would...

Café morrison es la peor excusa para un desayuno, probablemente la peor calidad que la carne haya probado, horrible porción salchichas y enlace salchichas no recomendaría en absoluto.

Whilst staying in the Dreghorn Travelodge we were on the look out for a hot breakfast and Morrisons was very close so we thought we would try there. We walked in and the first words out of the waitresses mouth was "the hot plat isn't working so no hot food I'm afraid". Not a good start. They did offer us scrambled egg on toast which we accepted and it was OK. We weren't offered a choice of bread so consequently ended up with white instead of brown. The cafe itself was clean enough and the coffee machine was good.

We were staying nearby and decided to go out for a quick bite. We were recommended to try this cafe which is inside Morrison's supermarket, even though we weren't going shopping and we're glad we did. We went out for an early evening meal twice here and it was excellent both times. It's also brilliant for a "Full Scottish Breakfast". Everything tastes fresh - most of it is freshly prepared in fact - and presented well. The cafe staff are really helpful and will make substitutions if they can - for example, one of us didn't want peppers or tomatoes in her salad and they easily sorted that. The coffee, even though it's from a self-service machine - is good. It's also on a direct bus route to Edinburgh (in this city, the bus is by far the best way of getting about) so if you on the way in for a show, you can call in here on the way.The price is good too, with everything being excellent value. Highly recommended.

Decent little pub on the banks of the Forth and Newhaven Harbour. The pub does simple pub grub for a decent price. If the weather is nice you can sit out and have a beer looking across the harbour. For parents with young kids, there is a large soft play area so you can get a little peace and quiet.

We felt like fish and chips but when we got them both the fish and chips were lukewarm. This meant the chips were soggy and the fish batter was similar. So we were disappointed. Deep fried mars bar was ok.

The sandwich or panini was very tasty. Simple but just right for a quick snack. Friendly and attentive service. Since there were no other guests on site apart from us, things went very quickly. If you don't expect star cuisine, we can highly recommend it.
