Morrisons Burntwood Cafe in Lichfield

What can I say.... wrong orders, food not cooked correctly and a very long wait. Customer service was seriously lacking. It wasn't even that busy in there. I don't know what they would if it got busy. On the plus side there is one member of staff that is on the ball. Let's just say she's in the minority.

Waited 45 mins for food to come out. Then they only brought one. We watched several people who came after us get served with the same food we had ordered . They couldn't believe it either. When we asked where food was we were spoken over and she rushed away. Another 5 mins and the other 2 came out. One was wrong. It was snatched away from me with a huff. And someone else brought the correct one we asked for vinegar and was told to go and find one ourselves on another table. All neighbouring diners witnessed this and commented on the staffs behaviour.

Beautiful fresh cooked food. Good value. Fish and chips are a firm favourite 10/10. Always clean. Service at till good and quick can't fault it.

We ended up here because of appalling treatment at Norton Canes Toby Carvery. The food was excellent given the setting, the staff were friendly, helpful, smiling and having a wonderful attitude to their job. Compared to what we experienced at the Toby, it was 5 star, well done and thank you.

All breakfast options changed Terrible breakfast toast changed to thick farmhouse type .not really toast more like warm bread and price has gone up will not be returning

This cafe is run really well, I’ve watched the staff cleaning all tables and chairs during Covid and they serve well avoiding contact with you, well done Morrison’s Burntwood cafe. 👍🏻

Went here with family before shopping and it was quick to order, food came quick and looked good black pudding was quite crispy like the idea about the free refill on coffee but you not able to get to the Machine as there is always a queue and only one machine working

Good choice of hot and cold meals and snacks. Inexpensive. Well run by the staff. Can get crowded at busy times.
