Awful place, they never have what you ask for, very lazy staff always just hanging about or on there phones. Will not waste my time again.

Tables and floor was filthy. Ordered Cheese toasties told they had no Cheese. Looked at menu but didn't fancy anything else,went to till to get refund but everyone just ignored me.The young lad who had came to the table was stood at the back of the kitchen on his phone trying his hardest to make believe he couldn't see me.After 5 minutes I managed to get the attention of a young lady and finally got my refund .Will not use again.

Visited morrisons A to shop and B for a coffee and bacon butty. COFFEE EXELENT,STAFF EXELENT, BACON BUTTY, Best that I have had for years ,Restaurant very clean in other words everything you would want. Keith Salisbury.

Table was dirty, I cleaned it myself. Staff member was unhelpful to my husband when he told them the coffee was cold. My avocado on toast was diabolical. It was liquid slime which I don't think had ever seen an avocado. The poached eggs were like rubber they were so overcooked. My husband's full breakfast was cold. Very disappointing

Food was cold most chips were hard battered sausages were awful, never again, staff ignored us when tried to call them to say it was cold very disappointed

Recieved fine of £100 for parking for 1 hour and 48 mins which is disgusting. My mother uses a wheelchair. We had the blue badge on display and was also parked in a disabled space. It takes a long time to take the wheelchair from the car, help my mam, shop, take the goods back to the car and return to get my mother as I could not carry the shopping and push my mother back at the same time! These people obviously are totally able bodied and oblivious to anyone with a mobility problem!!

Don't bother going here staff who served me had a really bad attitude ordered breakfast wanted to swap an item they said they would pass the request on, brought the breakfast but brought the item I that was supposed to be swapped told them I asked to swap item and they then told the chef which said It was getting cooked, eaten breakfast but item was ready to be served 5 mind after I requested it but had been sitting on the side for 20- 30 mins, all the items on the breakfast over cooked and cold. When complained they wasn't remotely interested. Need more staff and better service

It was busy but seen it worse. Tables needed clearing and tables wiping down. Tried to order Sunday lunch...then the veggie Sunday lunch then in desperation the fish and chips. Seems the cupboard was bare so we left On a positive note the staff are friendly and were polite

Ordered a breakfast. Was genuinely gross, cold had been cooked either hours ago or yesterday. Was the ‘ultimate’ breakfast but was more like the diabolical breakfast. Literally ate a slice of dry cold toast and couldn’t eat the breakfast it self. My son had the bacon sandwich which he said was ok but cold and bacon was like paper. Wouldn’t recommend or waste your time! Staff are alright though!

Ordered breakfasts for my family and they took 45/50 minutes to be served with one sat at the pass for almost 20 minutes. Staff are so busy dealing with the different ordering methods and topping up self service machines they haven’t got time to help which it was unacceptable. Morrisons - why have 3 ways to order (self order, ordering screen and till ordering) - just pick one and stick with it. The staff didn’t know if they were coming or going. I sort of felt sorry for them but the cafe wasn’t exactly busy. It was shambles and stinking with dirty tables everywhere. When the food did finally arrive it was a standard breakfast, no complaints and as expected, but 2 of the orders were still wrong and could hear other tables were too. By that point we didn’t care and were anxious to get out of there before we got (another) fine for exceeding the 2 hours stay! Insane how a company the size of Morrisons can get their cafe oh so wrong - all they need is a couple of extra staff who have some initiative. One last comment - How is it possible for a supermarket with a great butchers to run out of sausages in their cafe?!

My wife is disabled and she parked in Morrisons in Abergavenny to do some shopping, she normally goes to Cwmbran where parking is free. ( She has a receipt from Morrisons ) She parked and displayed her blue badge. She is very slow to do some things and when she left, she had no notion she had taken 1 hour and 50 minutes. She normally takes longer. She got a £100 parking fine Interesting interpretation of 'Reasonable Adjustment’ ( Section 20 of the Equalities Act 2010) Morrisions.. Regardless. we will NEVER set foot in a Morrisons again. It’s bad enough to be disabled but to be punished for it is just sick.

Attitude of member of staff Sarah with false eyelashes diabolical. She said I couldn't have any more sweet potato curry when I told her it was a child's portion. Opposite was a member of staff eating the curry. I was told all they could give me extra was chips. I relented gave her back the plate and she told me to say please. Then had 2 pieces of plastic in the curry it obviously microwaved and processed. My son had nearly finished his meal at this point. Asked to see manager got refund. Showed Sarah the plastic pieces and she laughed in my face and said 'perfect' No it was NOT perfect. It was atrocious service, staffs aprons are stinging dirty. Appalling experience

Terrible. Looked like a bomb had gone off. Filthy tables piled sky high with used crockery. Cleared our own table and wiped. Ordered a breakfast and waited 45 minutes!!! Avoid - we definitly will not be returning.

Dont visit !! Waited at till to be served by one young man who was taking food out serving wiping tables and taking money. 3 women were talking in kitchen doorway so I asked them for mugs and milk as none there. Ignored me !! Had to wait for George to get it. They were still talking when we left 30 minutes later with only George working Management need to watch what is going on. Worse Morrisons I have ever visited and never again. !!

Poor slow Service, messy tables everywhere, no teabags and instead of getting them for us, they proceeded to fill a tray full of tea pots first while I waited. I waited 15 minutes to get teabags. Cooked breakfast was meagre and dry dry dry. Jacket spud was nice but small. Try harder. Where are your managers??

Fish and chips x 2 Admittedly it was 4pm but these fish had been hanging around for the best part of 8 hours Batter almost broke our teeth and it was so overbooked that there was barely any fish to be found inside the concrete batter Chips were nice as was the tea but come on Morrisons, this was disgusting

We visited the cafe on Monday 8/5/23 just after 11:30am. We could see our food sat waiting on the pass to be served. The waitress finally brought it over and said 2 breakfast on with fried bread. When pointed out there was no fried bread in was taken back and let on the side not under a heat lamp. After a couple of minutes waiting I got up and kindly asked for a fresh breakfast as the ones we had ordered would now be cold. Breakfast finally arrived at 12:09. Again fried toast was missing brought on a separate plate. This was dumped on the table with a forceful thud and a comment toast on its way. Which when it did arrive we only received 1 portion out of the 2 we should have received. The second portion never left the waiting area. This was the most useless Morrison cafe I have ever frequented. Please please organise the staff by training them how to serve food effectively.

Came to Morrisons cafe with some friends for a coffee and some light nibbles, the staff were kind, accommodating and couldn’t do enough for their customers. Ordered some coffees from the barista to which the lady offered to bring them to our table for us, got some cakes and a bowl of chips from the main till also. Service was relatively fast considering how busy the restaurant was. Would recommend and definitely return.

Terrible breakfast cold beens burnt sausages and the toast was just stuck in what I'd call a atonement holder what a mess and was expesive . Originally I went in for a chicken roast dinner an I was told they had no chicken, I rather go to luigis in town 8 don't recommend this for a meal b

Morrisons cafe Abergavenny! Where do I even start! Worst place I have ever eaten at and I eat out alot! 3 of the meals I wanted on the menu were not available so I ordered a cheese burger, waited 45 minutes even tho the cafe was almost empty! Now I know why it was empty after this experience! The burger arrived completely inedible! It was burnt and solid as a rock! When i was complaining about how awful my food was another customer who also waited 45 minutes for his food was returning his fish and chips which looked absolutely awful 🤢 another customer told me that it used to be nice there but lately its been awful with many customers walking out and complaining! The manager came out gave me a refund and did not say a word! Not even an explanation or an apology for the awful food leaving the kitchen! Never again! Avoid at all costs! I honestly don't know how they are still open!

Went in for breakfast and cafe was not over busy, ordered a large English with scrambled egg as an option, the scrambled egg was dry and no mushroom, the waitress said she would bring my mushroom when it was ready, i never got a mushroom or an apology, so i sarcastically told them not to rush with the mushroom as i had eaten my breakfast

I'll make this straight to the point. If I order a Brie and Cranberry Toastie my minimum expectation is to have adequte brie in the sandwich to actually be able to taste it. Even opened the toastie to see if they forgot to add the brie and was met with literally a slither. If they cant get a toastie right how could they get anythink else right.... I advise you Avoid unless you actually like to feel ripped off and insulted. Ps, how can a super market give you limp salad to accompany the brie on toast when they advertise fresh salad only meters away!

Remember the old song `Pub with No Beer`well, this is a cafe with no sugar. I politely asked for white sugar but was told to go and buy some from the main shop as the cafe didn't have any !! Two cafe assistants and one manager later, I was presented with a little bowl of sugar. However after waiting 15 minutes for it to arrive, the tea was cold and stewed. The table was dirty with plates of half eaten breakfasts which I had pushed aside. The given reason for their inability to obtain sugar from the shelves was because of a risk of allergens and COVID restrictions but seems it would be ok if I bought it myself. I will never go back to this scruffy cafe again not only because of the lack of basic supplies but because of being made to feel as if I was asking for a rare delicacy instead of a spoonful of sugar.

When visiting Abergavenny this is often our first stop and we love the supermarket. However the cafe experience is shocking!

Although this store is new already it is not a good place to eat.All along the edges of the counter there is line of old food.I watched the assistant clean out the glass display cabinets.When I walked back from the toilet she had finished but had not cleaned the corners,neither had several cleans before her.The toilet sink was not usable you would have picked up more filth if you had. It was not just the days dirt it was a few weeks worth.Around the taps longer.The dirt behind the door was more than a days.

Steak pie , mushy peas and chips was on offer, not sure if it was towards the end of day 6pm but meal was totally disgusting and left most of it on plate. Pie was mostly pastry, chips were stale and peas tasteless, won't be back .!

Visited this Morrisons for some shopping, it was a clean store, had everything I wanted, the fresh bread is lovely as are the cakes. The staff are very friendly and helpful and well trained as Morrisons staff usually are. Will not hesitate to visit again.

not impressed would not recommend Abergavenny Morrison`s , staff didn`t seen interested , not very tidy , no trolley`s out to put your used tray`s away so tables weren`t cleaned , it`s a shame always`s had good experience at other Morrisons

Music to loud in cafe and it looked like it hasn't had good clean for quite a while and this was early morning The only thing in their favor was the staff very friendly

Nice cafe, very busy, with quick service. Expecting 25 minutes waiting at lunch time. But in fairness to them it was only about 12 minutes. Three members were all very help. The tables were clean, price good.

Jacket potato with tuna and side salad. Very tasty. Cheese and tomato toasted sandwich with side salad and chips. All freshly prepared. Enjoyed while waiting for the rain to stop

Love the new Morrison’s store, but as other reviews say, the cafe lets it down, the coffee machines are terrible, it’s Luke warm, my husband went back for a second cup thinking perhaps the next cup would be hot, but it was nt. will definitely visit the store again but will boycote the cafe for sure!!!

Called in at lunchtime today. I had the hot smoked salmon salad and my husband had the chunky steak pie and chips. Food was good value for money. Staff were helpful and attentive. We had a twenty minute wait for our meals as it was very busy.

Good meals, coffee etc are refillable at no extra. Good breakfast for under £5, fish and chips pretty good. Good selection of cakes, and has enough table room for wheelchairs. Good for all round shopping and the town center is very close as it's just across the road. 2hrs parking monitored by camera so do check time

My trip to South Wales ,on the way back from Pembrook ,I saw Morrisons, and thought what an excellent place to visit for the shopping on my way to Pandy, the food was excellent ,and has kept well as I am still eating it , thank you for a good place to build a store

Popped in for a quick bite to eat at around half two on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of spare tables but had a 30 minute wait for two cheese and tomato toasties. The food when it came was lovely, no salad garnish or coleslaw as promised but we were too hungry to complain. Lots of people having huge problems with the coffee machine, one couple asked for a refund as it was taking so long to sort.

Popped into the cafe after shopping. Food nice but service is slow. They are too busy chatting to each other than serving. Milk ran out in coffee machine and although they said they would refill they took ages - no sense of urgency. Not very professional place
