Morrisons in Wakefield

The portion sizes are clearly affected by shrinkflation. There was no sauce on the beans just dried breakfast beans which is mad as beans are such a cheap ingredient it feels insulting to skimp on. Don’t be deceived by the big box you receive as it’s mostly empty. The toast barely seen any butter in its existence and overall it felt like it was yesterday’s leftovers being served.

I wasn't happy with the breakfast I reveived, the mushrooms had a terrblie taste, I differently won't be ordering again

The food was delicious and the man who delivered the food was so lovely, kind and friendly.

It's Morrisons, food ok but you don't go for glamour

the food didn't look well presented, looked like it was just thrown in the box, the food was greasy, disappointed because if you go into the cafe the breakfasts are lovely. The delivery driver on the other hand was lovely and very polite

it had lost the majority of its heat source

The order took one and a half ours and when it did arrive it was stone cold

Order was wrong, bacon undercooked, black pudding overcooked

My breakfast was missing items

If I could give no stars, I would, completely the wrong order, and the guy delivering looked like he had seen a ghost, NEVER ORDER FROM THIS CAFE I warn you your just wasting money for disappointment.

Called for breakfast, wrong order brought to table ordered fried eggs brought scrambled, changed to what I would describe as joke eggs 2 old eggs warmed up and very unfriendly staff ,

First of all waited over an hour, garlic bread and sausage were to die for but the chips arrived cold hard and burnt to a crisp I will not be ordering from here again

Missing items not the first time this has happened

Ordered 2 Cappuccino's it's self serve out of a machine... made then they was disgusting we left them won't be going back there again

Order never came despite it being marked ‘delivered’

Didnt even get my order AGAIN !!!!!

Ordered roast beef dinner, arrived with no yorkshire pudding,

Never got delivered. But they marked it as delivered instead of refunding me. I did receive some irate phone calls from the delivery driver who I could not understand. Won’t be getting anything else from here.

He would not bring it to my door I have arthritis in my knees I think this is appalling and I am very upset with the delivery

Good value food and friendly staff

The only reason for giving it a four was I could t see teaspoons over than that cheerful cafe clean goo do choice of cakes and yummy looking I had Victorian sponge muffin cheaper than other cafes but otherwise brillant

Food was freezing, fish fingers rock hard, straight in bin

Every table had used plates etc. Cleared our own, tabled not therfore cleaned/disinfected. Long wait for food.

Time kept changing and ended up being over an hour longer then first stated. Food was ok. Bit cold but nice enough for the price

Only recieved half a order and was very cold this is twice my order has been wrong through just eat, tried to contact store 43 minutes wait, drove upto store what is 20 minutes drive away to try get it sorted..

Service good, food below average, steak pie tough and not very hot, chips good, baked beans tasteless.. coffee good. Top notch home made steak pie in a couple of in town cafes so much better and cheaper. That's my last visit.

The delivery time changed changed several times. When the breakfast finally arrived it was Luke warm and it was nearly lunch time.

Driver was very professional and polite.

It took a while for us to get the food and the staff looked busy. However, once we got our food it tasted nice. Staff were nice as well and apologised for the long wait

Good given to the wrong house so I had to chase the home owner for my food, wrong items on the order, clearly didn’t read the instructions

Items on breakfast missing. If they didn't have it they should have called or messaged to say and we would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere

Finally a restaurant that keeps the beans separate 🙌🏽 lovely breakfast, good quality!

Hot, not soggy and an amazing coffee cup 😋

Absolutely disgusting full of oil squeezed a mushroom and it half oil tank came out, milkshake was froth, mocha was a latte? Cupcake was like a rock probably sat there for days, just nasty

No hot chocolate, it's been like that for a week the staff inform me, no cups either so they were using paper ones !! Bit unorganised to say the least ... 🤔

It does not seem to matter when you visit the cafe all meals are unavailable ALL the time. Why advertise 2 for 1 meals, an extensive food menu when your unable to get the very very basics right such as stock control and ordering. Utter disgrace and lazy managing. My advice, change the badging to a Costa coffee shop and just sell coffee and tea and you will remove the negativeness the cafe arm of the business brings to Morrisons.

Absolutely appouling! Waiting over 40 minutes for a sausage sandwich and breakfast. The breakfast was barely warm and the sausage sandwich was dripping in oil. Definitely won't be returning. Didn't even get an apology for how long we was waiting.

Strong return from lock down for Morrisons cafe. Food excellent Service excellent and very very fast Covid safety excellent Price let's it down a little for the size of breakfast but after all this time I'm more than happy to let it go. Great to be back can't wait for my next visit. Well done Morrisons cafe.

After an overnight stay in Pontefract we popped in for breakfast. This is part of the supermarket, right at the entrance. The tables are divided by screens due to social distancing. You can still pick your own bits and make own coffee though. Had English breakfast and poached eggs on toast, coffee and apple juice. Cheap and cheerful, can definitely recommend.

Really bad !! Long wait not explained at the till when ordering so left the food uneaten. Not a patch on the selby cafe. Won't be back.

Staff here were really helpful and friendly, food came quickly and was perfect, it’s Morrison’s cafe, not the Ivy! It’s basic and good value. Sausage, egg, chips and beans, food of the gods!!!

Under staff always run out of food staff talk to you like rubbish

Me and my mam went in Morrisons cafe before doing our shopping, we fancied a treat! I queued up, but I stood in a queue for 10 mins, I could clearly see a customer struggling with a order. When it came to my turn, I asked not once, but twice where are the mugs for our coffee, the server said over there, but there wasn't, I had to ask again, I asked for 2 toasted currant tea cakes, this takes a minimum of 5 mins to grill, at which we were told it would be 30mins! I won't be back to this cafe unless things improve, there is no organisation and consistency! Full arms out, full arms in! In other words, clear something away when you've delivered a meal! We did not get an apology. It was nice to see the screens, but the tables were a mess!

Went for a full English and they had run out if sausages and bacon in a bloody supermarket 😜

By no means the best cafe in town

Always a good meal to be had here. I usually go for a cheeseburger or a macaroni cheese, both of which I can thoroughly recommend. My mother and grandmother get scampi and fish-and-chips, both of which also look delicious. Definitely a recommended place to come before or after a shop, or just for a bite to eat.

Was not worth £7.55 should of saved the money cooked it myself do a better job with my camping stove

Food is excellent value for money and delicious as well. The seating area is large and there's always somewhere to sit. There is a baby food facility by the children's play area and the cafe is breastfeeding friendly. The menu a varied and there is choice for the whole family

Morrison's cafe & toilets are getting worse. The tables are always full of dirty plates & the toilets need a total refurb, they are awful. The store has no fresh veg & fruit after 11 am on a Saturday. Morning but is open till 9pm. I have shopped at Morrison's since it opened in PONTEFRACT. but now I'm going to go else where. There is no loyalty anymore.

Disgusting level of service apparently don't have stock yet they stock up from the supermarket then 4 staff harass ya to see ya complaint so ya can't even eat the substitute as it's gone cold due to them

Nice food, beutiful fish and chips, meal deals for families, hot drinks could be improved, sometimes not hot enough, needs a better quality ground coffee.

For a supermarket cafe this place is actually quite expensive this is general with all Morrisons cafes . Food tends to be pre cooked .

Great breakfast loved it, get plenty.
