Taco Bell in Wakefield

I ordered a large burrito meal, both burritos were half empty, small for two bites, salty as if someone had poured the whole salt shaker in. worst burrito I've ever eaten in my life. I wouldn't even give it to a dog... I'm disgusted

Just had taco bell on Sunday afternoon, lad at the till Kyle I think his name is bless him did us proud, first time on the till and we were more than happy with him as he got our order as quick as possible 5 stars to the young man

Just ordered via Uber Eats - great driver, embarrassingly bad food. Chalupa Supreme had the tiniest bit of meat, much less than normal. And the crunchy special, with extra meat, again pathetically thin. Nothing like the adverts. Wish I'd made cheese on toast instead 😡 Alos large fries looked very regular or small to me.

Terrible, don't go 😂. Took ages when 1 other table in. Nearly £8 for some soggy chips, and a crunch wrap "supreme". The only supreme thing about this is how ripped off you feel when you discover it's basically just lettuce inside, and not even a decent amount of that. Cheese quesadilla can be made better at home. Soggy tortilla with hardly any cheese for 4.89. Toilet doors were locked so couldn't go. Struggling to find anything positive about this experience other than leaving.

Just received order: Late 1 hour and a half later Missing both drinks (no bottles we paid extra for) Missing rice in burrito Half filled tacos Half portion of fries & fries belle Grande barely filled, if we added all fries together maybe 1 portion... We paid £40+ for a meal sub par and sub standsrd

I ordered a through just eat and the driver stole my food I rang up just to see what the driver looked like and molly an amazing staff member and the other two who was in was happy enough to remake my hole order for me I appreciate it and the amazing staff

Before writing this I did not expect how bad the other reviews was till I read them. Whilst waiting for food they messed up 3 delivery orders, 2 customers orders and my order in the surge of 10mins and maybe more afterwards. Simple small order and they missed two crunchy taco and had to make it once I flagged it up but they rushed it so much it was half pouring out. The chips was chucked into the takeaway bag, staff just has no passion and further training required get a decent manager there to keep things flowing better because this place is way below standard. Ice peach tea was literally dispensing water out, the ice machine has been down for over 3 weeks+

First time visiting taco bell it was shocking food and litter all over the floor dirty tables and wasn't even busy.....No sign of any management!

A few friends and I decided to try Taco Bell after a day out at Xscape. Safe to say it will be the first and last time we go. We could see through to the kitchen and there was food on the counter where they were preparing food that is a huge cross contamination risk. This also means that anyone that has a food allergy is at high risk. Gloves were not changed between preparation and using the till. The woman was on her phone 90% of our visit (which was around 30mins). I also witnessed one of the workers pick up food that had fallen from its container and put it back in. The pictures don’t do it justice as I was trying to be discreet.

Rude incompetent staff, can't get orders right and have no people skills.

Ordered off Uber eats £49 paid for priority came late & was flat cold. Won’t order again.

Toilets were out of order. No signs were visible. This made it awkward when my family came to eat and had to look elsewhere. Also, who'd have thought a taco bell would allow itself to run out of nacho cheese?

peach ice tea wasn’t working so i asked them to refill it and no one ever did. fries were barely seasoned. crunchwrap was amazing though. staff barely do anything. got my food quite quick which was good

I normally love Taco Bell but as of recent every time me and my family try to order it for delivery they give us a 40 min delivery time and without fail when there is 5 mins left until delivery time the order is cancelled. No warning. No reason. Not good enough! Very disappointed in their customer service. In future I’ll spend my money in Five Guys or Nando’s….. Don’t waste your time ordering a delivery from here, order it from somewhere that won’t let you down.

Really easy to order on the screen or at the till if paying cash. Wasn’t sure what to get as don’t eat here often! Staff was really helpful and friendly. I eventually decided on quesadillas and they were really nice! Restaurant was welcoming and clean! Highly recommend.

Dear readers, I really liked it there. The fries were very tasty. Very tasty! With spices. The Taco Supreme was only 7 pounds for two portions + fries + refill. Great! I had never tried burritos before, but now I really recommend everyone to try Taco Bell.

Ordered a taco supreme without nacho cheese and sour cream but it came with them. Fries were soggy and the food was cold, Customer support were no help and food went in the bin.

Adverts vs reality, this is getting ridiculously what are we paying for there almost no meant in it and that doesn't look like a burrito but a flat bread

Amazing service, helped my 11 year old with his order and made sure he got what he wanted. Talk to the staff and treat them with respect and they give help and respect back. Highly recommend.

Salon was very dirty and toilet was non useable as it was not clean at all and we couldn't use it.

Abysmal. Ordered through Uber Eats, the food took over an hour and half. It arrived cold. The quesadilla had blonde long hair inside and the taco shell had been crushed. Uber Eats answer was a partial refund. Always avoided this place due to the poor reviews already online and was a mistake to risk trying it. Shocking and will never be going back.

Food was actually very nice. However really small for the price. On the menu it was saying 700+ calories for the burrito i had, cant be half of that. Very few chips with the "medium" too.

I called in to taco bell to night at castleford and it was the worst one I have ever had chips were dripping with the stuff they put on I mean it was covered in the stuff and the rap was cold and burnt never again will I eat here

It was very easy to order and you can customise your taco/burrito to your liking with kind workers good atmosphere and good food.

Received the completely wrong order, tried ringing the store and line busy for well over half hour

Absolutely shocking!! Ordered online for a pick up and when I walked into the store the staff just completely ignored me. Another lady approached the counter and called out to staff, they served her and again ignored me. There was 5 staff members that looked about 12yrs old only a few feet away from me, just chatting and completely ignorant to me and the other customers that started to line up. Then someone who I assume is the manager walked in. He asked both the staff and us if we had been served. We all said no and he promptly got us seen to and apologised. It was amusing seeing the staff scatter and actually do some work after that. A bunch of kids that clearly have no sense of customer service! The food was not that great either. Asked for no tomatoes on my crunchywrap supreme and got tomatoes. Fries Bell grande was half a box. Beefy melt burrito was skinny and pathetic. Honestly wouldn't bother again.

The food wasn't as good as normal tonight. We paid for extra toppings and dint get them and also for was dry and bland but normally it is fantastic. Staff are lovely and will help when they can. It was super busy so putting the food quality down to that.

My partner used the toilet and came back looking horrified and said do not go in there. He said he's seen some bad toilets in his time but that was horrific. It was easy and quick to order using the machines and food was prompt but it wasn't the best. Felt soggy and chips weren't that warm. Wouldn't come here again given a choice...

I ordered and got the wrong order :( That poor group of friends are probably missing their chicken and cheese quesadillas that I couldn't even eat because I'm vegetarian 🥲

Food was utterly awful, food just thrown in a bag, the Burrito was supposed to be crispy but it was as limp as a wet lettuce. Supposed to have a can of soft drink but was given a cardboard cup, bearing in mind it was a takeaway. Durritos were that overdone they were black but what do you expect for over processed food , should have known better typical American crap food like the rest.

Love the quesadillas here. Had a special offer so it was really cheap. Not sure I would eat here without the special offer as it’s really expensive compared to other fast food places next to it.

The thing I like about Taco Bells is that you can customise your burrito or taco to your taste - my personal favourite is the Volcano Burrito Meal (without Lava Sauce)...controversial maybe. But hot food gives me acid, don't judge 😉

Tables were not cleaned. The toilet was not cleaned for a long time. I was scared to touch anything. Food portion was a joke, Tacos had almost no meet in them. Sorry, but this was the first and last time for me to visit.

Wouldn’t even give this place one star. Waited over an hour for delivery. I got a burrito… wouldn’t call it a burrito was more like a pathetic wrap and my girlfriend got the cheese quesadillas they were so so soggy and stuck to the paper she also got a beef wrap of some sort.. wouldn’t call it a wrap, wasn’t even wrapped it was just folded over. Honestly the food was just awful, ate it cause we waited over an hour for it and we were hungry but my god we will never go there again! Disgusting. Also they don’t actually fill the wraps with stuff it’s just a no. Absolutely no. Paid just a little over 20 quid and it is not worth it. Waste of money.

employees stood talking around whilst making the food prolonging the wait even further, also stopping to talk instead of making the food, don't think this is acceptable and don't think conversations should be had infront of customers.

Are in and food was fine, but restaurant itself was freezing inside and the one toilet they had was disgusting. Broken, no flush, no toilet roll and full of mess. Wasn't even busy whilst we were there. Avoid.

If you like to sit in a fridge whilst eating your rapidly cooling meal, visit. If not due to the faulty outside left door give it a miss. Even the staff don’t close it when leaving. Asked every time we have visited, manager never there.

This place definitely had some teething problems when it first opened but now it’s been opened for a good few months the last few meals I have had from here have all been spot on and really good 👍

First time we have eaten at taco Bell,and it will be the last .Place was dirty and tables not cleared food not value for money hardly any filling no onecleaning tables we had to clean it ourselves .Management need to take a good look at your store ,if it was my store I would be ashamed.

Lovely food and all the staff were lovely and provided a warm welcome and excellent customer service. Would definitely be going back in the near future.

Ordered online, other half went to collect and when asked if all was in there was told yep. Gets food back and looked and there were 2 items missing when went back for refund the next day there was no interaction jus oh ill get someone to sort this for you and despite person being on counter there was no communication !!!

Guy behind counter sneezes, makes no effort to cover up his mouth and carries on with food duties, I saw that and walked straight back out.

Annoyed as I ordered a chalupa box with 2 cheesy roll ups and a Gordita and some churros but my entire chalupa box was missing and one of the cheesy roll up too : ( I normally love taco bell but very disappointed with today delivery, I've tired calling but no answer at all

AVOID. Treated my 8yo to his first Taco Bell today. (Crispy chicken burrito) Within 3 hours he's now projectile vomiting. Thankfully the rest of the family didn't partake. AVOID unless you want food poisoning!!

Drove 15 miles went in at 10:30pm and google says it closes at 11pm.The staff were already cleaning up which I thought was a bit odd then proceeded to order our food at the kiosk, just before I payed the woman behind the counter said that they were closed bear in mind this was half an hour before closing.Don’t recommend

Slow delivery cold messy and two burritos missing. Whilst lady on phone was polite can only get missing item by going and getting them. What’s the point in delivery if items are missing & then have to collect their mistake.

Daughter went for a meal (Soft Chicken Taco) on 8/8/22 in the evening and ended up with food poisoning a couple of hours later. I can't say I can recommended this place to anyone. She was sick about 20 times throughout the night and had bad diarrhoea too. She felt perfectly fine before going.

Went with a friend and both had food and drink, the machines weren't working properly to order the food, but after some time we were given our burrito/wrap meals, and honestly they were great for the price! I will be returning!

Excellent food tried nearly everything on the menu, the crispy tacos are delicious especially the beef, quality ingredients fresh salad absolutely delicious and the churros are to die for. Staff are friendly enough and the prices are very reasonable especially for what you get. My only gripe is the cleanliness could be better we went one day and our table as others were still dirty and needed a wipe which I found strange since they had just opened. I really can’t understand the other bad reviews but all seem to be from delivery, so I would say just don’t get it delivered.

Wouldn't go again, 3 staff, none of them had a clue what they were doing. Every single table inside and out were dirty. Bin station was overflowing. Food took ages. Whilst waiting other people were served, left and came back because their order was wrong. The order station's didn't work, some of the toilets were out of order. Not a great experience.

Food was OK. They got the order wrong, but quickly rectified it. The floor was dirty and the tables mostly needed wiping. Considering this was about 11:30am and the shop was quiet, I'd expect them to be able to keep on top of the cleaning.

Portions absolutely tiny and food was cold. Will not be going back. Better off getting a KFC snack wrap for a 1/5 of the price

Nice food and great for all budgets.

The food was good, no real complaints with it. The state of the "restaurant" is another matter. Its been open for what, 6 months and its filthy. I was there on a Friday and it was empty no one was cleaning. Nor did it look like anyone had since it had opened the walls have food stuck to them the floor is disgusting, we sat down which I wish I hadn't we had to wipe our own table that had just been cleaned by the staff (see the photo! we didn't finish we just left)

Can't beat taco bell unless they miss part of your order, nice and easy food.

Taco Bell, Castleford, can’t seem to get delivery orders right. The food is great but each time we make an order for delivery there is ALWAYS items missing. Tonight half the order was missing! How is that possible? Lesson definitely learned, do not place delivery orders! Like I said earlier such a shame cause the food is lovely! 😔

I didn't like too much the food

The place is a an absolute disaster, filthy walls and floors. Litter everywhere, food on the floor. The staff genuinely couldn't give a toss. 30 minute wait for barley warm food that was the wrong order anyway. Shambles is the only word I can use to describe it.

Genuinely the most disgusting place I've seen in quite a while, I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. What put me off? 6 staff members of shift, two were wearing blue gloves. One had their hand in a tub of water wiping down the surfaces with a soaking wet cloth. However, with the same gloved hand, began shaking it over the fry station (was there disinfectant in the water? Or soap?) Then proceeded to use same hand to pick rubbish up off the floor then wrap a burrito with this same pair of gloves on!) The front was filthy, covered in rubbish, floors were covered in the kitchen area with rubbish. An EHO needs to make a surprise inspection on this place, it is embarrassing.

Easy to order, not long until food is ready, tables not cleaned in between people (I had wipes but likely would if i asked) We sat on smaller round table just enough room for our two trays. At least people binned their rubbish as leaving, staff did sweep the floor

Really great soft and hard tacos. They had some taco bell sauce in this time as they were out before and this adds to the whole experience just like back in the U.S.
