50 min wait for a simple breakfast. Pretty empty as well Staff do seem to work hard just not enough of em I guess. Apologetic lady came out and gave me an update.

The food was cold I made a complaint and it was totally ignored

Missing two items from my order latte and the desert. Bacon wasn't the best too, too much grissle and not crispy enough

Stopped here for a late breakfast whilst staying in Sully. The staff are so friendly and work really hard getting the food prepared and out to everyone considering there was only two staff members on. Lots of selection on foods and drinks, ranging from healthy snacks to meals and puddings. Loads of seating, meal came out hot and was really tasty! Would recommend the traditional breakfast. My Mum and Dad recommend the fish and chips! 🐠🍟🍳👌

Good portions, whole tub of beans with my breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. Nice sausages and juicy mushrooms! Poached egg was beautiful. However hash browns a bit chewy, fried bread far too oily.

Food was stale and burnt and still somehow cold, coffee was missing

after over two hours over the arrival time and still no food. Then told it had been delivered which it never did. Disgusting service.

We just wanted a bacon butty and a cuppa. The mugs were all filthy so we opted for bottled water instead. There was one person covering the till, waiting the tables and cleaning up. Needless to say the wait was ridiculous and the whole place was really dirty. Wo 't be going there again

Forgot the beans in one of the breakfasts and did not receive my bottle of coke robbers

Given meat sausages instead of vegetarian and given a latte instead of hot chocolate (I can’t drink caffeine) Couldn’t eat or drink any of it. Really disappointed

Really disappointed with pale bacon, fried eggs that looked more like hard boiled eggs and toast without a spread. Unlikely to order from here again

Food stated it would arrive at 9.25. Arrived at 9.49 and was freezing cold. Waste of Money and time.

Ordered 2 roast dinners but only 1 was delivered.

Cold food and hash brown's and chips were old and stale, sausages dried out and fried bread soggy and greasy. Extremely dissatisfied

Obviously a staff Shortage, tables full of used plates etc no one clearing ir cleaning. The place looked grubby.

No hot chocolate for over a week but no sign letting you know. No decaf either. Staff aware apparently.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive my drink and my food was cold. Once heated up the meal itself was fine.

Driver didn't show up! He collected the food, I followed where he was going on the map (he was on my street but the completely wrong end), then it says connection lost, and then food delivered?! Dishonest delivery driver, very annoyed that you can't speak with justeat live like other platforms and you have to wait days for a response.

Probably the best supermarket cafe in Cardiff in terms of quality of food and pricing. The all day breakfasts are great--nothing tinned, except for the beans, presumably--and the fish 'n chips is real fresh fish from Morrisons own fishery in Falmouth, not the frozen fish-flavoured paper mache muck in breadcrumbs found in so many other cafés. Good service too, very friendly and up for a laugh. Great for families 'cause kids can eat free all day. Can't beat that.

Forgot items that was meant to be in my meal. Used cardboard containers that ending up being soggy by the time my food came. Forgot items that was meant to be with my partners meal. soggy sloshed cooked breakfast in the boxes. And partners burger was dryer than dry like leather.

The fish was alright, but it still included peas when I specified for none.

Waited 50 minutes for our food, had to ask for condiments. Cafe was cold 8 degrees C.

No grilled tomato and they had run out of poached eggs so gave me an extra sausage as compensation. I assume you would be extremely lucky to get a fresh egg here unless it was water they had run out of, the ones I had certainly looked as if they had been cooked a couple of days ago. This takes me back to the 70s when British cuisine was in it's heyday.

I ordered a (select your own items) breakfast. Poached eggs were just right, bacon beans and sausage tasty and lovely granary toast. I scored a 4 only because the food was lukewarm, otherwise it was delicious and the delivery guy was quick bringing my food to me as well as service with a warm friendly smile

Ordered it not sure how it be, was so quick which is nice, really good food and quality, had a nice note on the box that apologised for no black pudding but that’s fine I don’t like black pudding so thanks lol but definitely ordering back thanks : )

This is not the fault of the cafe staff. This is the fault of the management. We came to have a little afternoon lunch on a Saturday ordered some food via the app and it took ages to arrive as there where only two members of staff on ( one of whom was in the kitchen ) who were working there socks off. The food was nice but took ages to arrive for obvious reasons. The parts about this trip that where truly annoying where there where no forks!! I felt bad having to take ask for one so I ended up just using a knife. Morrisons Management Team, DO A BETTER JOB. Those poor staff in the cafe probably feel rubbish because of you!!

I recently ate at the Diss restaurant in Norfolk, England. The food was delicious, served well and was a very enjoyable family experience - so I decided to try Morrisons in my home town. It couldn't have been more different! Food dry, given garden peas not the ordered mushy peas, bread and butter didn't appear on my order. One hot water dispenser not working ... But, I gave it another go this week, incase it was a little blip?!? Unfortunately very similar experience except now 2 hot water dispensers weren't working, only one slice of bread and butter (menu offered 2) but I got the mushy peas 🎉. Very disillusioned staff, and I totally understand why. Not going to bother again - I'll just shop and go.

Absolutely terrible, will never go again. Advise everyone not to make the mistake we did. One staff member serving with a face down to the floor. Kitchen staff slapped food on table, there was food missing, it was rectified in a fashion/attitude. Breakfast horrendous and so badly cooked. Not warm enough, pre-heated so much food was dry and hard. Bad quality produce or just destroyed by cooking method. Tea/coffee mugs dirty. Only 1 coffee machine working so large unhappy, vocal queue. No serviettes. Restaurant needs a thorough clean. Morrisons should be ashamed. Lost our custom permanently. Had to give 1 star as no option to give 0.

Worst breakfast I have ever experienced! No avocado, No black pudding, Rock hard poached eggs, Not made aware of there was no black pudding ahead of placing order so would not have picked the breakfast that included it had I known. Made them aware the black pudding was not on my breakfast offered a substitute explained I didn't want any more breakfast items so would have another coffee instead. Told that is not possible I have to pick breakfast items. Ordered a poached egg and sausage. A fried egg and sausage arrived!!! Fair play morrisons you have beaten me and you are high on my list of WORST BREAKFAST AND SERVICE EVER!!! Actually think you have taken the top spot!!!

One of the Worsts breakfast I've had, fried eggs were not cooked the scramble eggs were full of water, toast was soggy. Cutlery was not clean at all, things being labeled wrong, and dirty tables. Will never go back.!

I ordered via electronic menu toasted ham & cheese and a latte eat in. Once I sat down latte tasted like burnt dish water. No brown sugar, no sweetner only white sugar. Staff came up behind me said you order toasted ham and cheese. Yes I replied. It arrived with only cheese. When I took it back to the kitchen, staff raised her voice said I agreed to cheese. Just lost regular customer!

Breakfast arrived and looked lovely. I realised we had not been given our cup for tea so I asked staff. A male staff member shouted from kitchen he was just putting dishwasher on so I would have to wait. The female staff member then told me to go to the coffee shop at the other end of the cafe and get one. I went to get one and she followed me.... Not sure why she couldn't get it for me, my breakfast was sat going cold. I returned to my seat and wanted some brown sauce so I again asked... I was told the builders the other end of the cafe had it to go and ask them... 1 bottle if sauce for whole cafe... Not covid safe at all. The cafe was not full however the staff couldn't be less interested in the customer. This was a treat however after walking around the cafe several times whilst my breakfast went cold it felt like a chore.

Won't be rushing back after I heard one of the cafe staff telling her manager she had to go home as she thinks she may have covid half way through her shift. Unbelievable

I took my grandchildren to Morrisons cafe in Barry on the afternoon of Friday ,23July.We always love going there for a treat. Anyway ,today am so sorry to say that Iwe received the worst presented food I have ever had.The chips were old and just reheated,and the fish thrown on plate,peas were missing

Little to no wait time. Very good well done. However my breakfast was drowning in grease. Also they had run out of poached eggs but not fried eggs. How do you run out of only 1 type of eggs. Makes me wonder how long the fried eggs were sat there. May come again. But only if Burger King next door isn't open.

Great place for fried breakfast and other small meals. Fast service with plenty of choice. Coffee is not the best and some menu options can get quite costly but otherwise a good place to take family on a weekend.

Morrisons are doing a great deal in this Cafe! You order your meal, and get "EXTRA" Food FREE! They give you the last persons meal dried onto your cutlery FOR FREE! NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME! You would think that with the Corona virus still about, A cafe would be on its guard? I visited this place today, and found even though tables were spaced apart etc there was complete chaos! People and staff brushed shoulders, like it was a Corona virus free zone! Although pre ordered meals were ordered and payed for, the orders were wrong or had missing items. This overall experience got worse, as all our cutlery had the last persons meal still smeared on all of our cutlery! Im sure a visit from the Food Hygiene Agency, would close this place down straight away... Disgusting place...

Usually very good but today they obviously had issues there was hardly anything on the menu that they had..fizzy drink machine not working ...only water ..oasis or bottles of coke.. not even put in chiller just left in packaging. An absolute mess. Poor assistant couldn t apologise enough. Can t think of any reason why there was that many issues.

Not as cheap as it used to be and quality has gone downhill. Had beef dinner which come with gravy that was practically water. Roasties were soggy and undercooked. Husband had cottage pie that was stone cold in the middle. Suggest inspiration should be taken from wetherspoons who are main competitors from a price point of view.

Barry Morrisons is a good value busy but comfortable place.

An abysmal excuse for a cafe, came in for food 1pm on a Sunday, my husband asked for the roast chicken dinner, they had run out as they'd only cooked 4 chickens! So he plumped for the roast beef instead, no one told him it doesn't come with Yorkshire pudding and it wasn't offered as an extra either! I asked for tomato soup, they only have chicken available today! So I opted for beans on toast as the next choice. When it arrived it was less the appetising, the beef looked like old shoe leather but had less taste and more chew to it, the gravy was that watery it ran all over the tray when it moved, the potatoes were that dry they had to be soaked in the gravy before being eaten! The beans on toast was more beans on bread as it had hardly been toasted! The highlight of our meal was we got to leave afterwards!

The food is okay but when i went out and tried getting out with a trolly a lady shouted at me and her attitude is disgusting vile too !

Staff do their best but not enough of them. Management should be shot, its not what they have but always what the haven't. Allways the same problem, never have even half of what is supposed to have on the menu. Awful management but great staff.

Good selection of world foods, bakery, fruit and veg, deli and fresh meat counter. Artisan breads and all your basics too. Just starting a refit which looks exciting... 😋

Took at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to show up, ordered omelette and chips for my partner. It turned up within ten minutes which is the only good thing I have to say about it. The chips were undercooked and tasted disgusting. The bacon in the omelette could easily have been used as a spare tires since that's how rubbery it was. Will never eat there again and would never recommend it either

Dunno, didn't bother. General impression of the store was a lack of pride and cleanliness. Shelves devoid of products except for damaged or opened produce. Rubbish on the floors and on the shelves and fruit and vegetables expensive and of mediocre quality. Food miles were out of the ball park with asparagus tips, beans and other greens coming from Peru, Guatemala, Kenya, Thailand, Egypt and Morroco. So for a UK HQd organisation Brexit isn't going to be an issue?????

Food is slow, not very good quality. Half the time they haven't got what you want. Sometimes you go there and they have decided to shut early. Do not go there any more.

I go there for coffee and food whilst shopping. No complaints at all

Good value and handy when shopping BUT never enough staff and no one ever in charge to make decisions etc. Mugs sometimes still dirty on racks. Not always cutlery available when food is ready and we have to wait for it to come out of dishwasher then food is cold.

Around 75% of items on the menue wernt available. Shocking as you are a supermarket full of ingredients... it was very cold could really do with a lot better heating or blocking the cold from the entrance in some way.

Great fish chips n peas. The fish was really fresh with light crispy batter. Reccomend !!

Often has items out of stock and they tell you 20 minutes after you have sat down and paid. Food quality is average. Portion sizes are average.

I prefer the barista bar coffee but there is never anyone there so be prepared to wait. Some of them have no idea to make cappuccino. They are always under staffed even at their busiest time. During half term took my grandson there for lunch we waited an hour for our meal because they had forgotten us and when it did come it was awful
