Beautiful breakfast!! Had the ultimate breakfast without black pudding! 2 drinks £17.60 absolute bargain! Would have it any gay of the week. Although I have to say the man on the drinks needs to get on with his job. Talk about never shutting up. He was talking to all different staff members that didn’t Work in the cafe. The ladies in the cafe were lovely!!

a lovely supermarket cafe. Yes if you’re expecting the ritz then you’ll be disappointed but for me I found it lovely. Nice jacket potato, friendly staff. Please don’t tear down one of the few remaining supermarket cafes, I love them! :)

If you go to Bristol do not go to marrisons cafe at Cribbs Causeway, you'll be better off to walk across the road to McDonalds we ordered dinner only to be told they didn't have it so we ordered something else only to be told they didn't have that either so we just asked for two tea's and we waited 30 minutes for them and they never turned up when I asked how long we have to wait for our drinks I was told there'll be with us in a couple of minutes 10 minutes later we decided to get up and go other people were saying they was waiting 45 minutes for something to eat if you want any advice do not use the cafe at Morrisons at Cribbs Causeway.

I had finished shopping, but thought I would treat myself to a cup of tea. Lady on till took my order, (l cup of tea) asked what table I was sitting at, and said it would be brought to me. To save time, and I am quite able to carry my cup of tea, I went to tea/coffee station. Well I was looked at like I had just come from Mars….obviously I was not following procedure!!! The tea pot was begrudgingly filled, cup found with difficulty and milk, as an afterthought, put on my tray. …..The whole system needs a shake-up. I work a voluntary shift at a cafe, I think if I behaved in such a miserable fashion I would be asked to leave. Cheer up ladies !! Although the breakfast did look good…I don’t think I will visit again, as I think I will be a bit of an inconvenience.

Came for breakfast on Saturday 5th August…. Omg definitely one of the worst experiences. Waited ages for someone to even come and serve me, was then told it would be half hour wait for food which isn’t a big deal (just wanna say the lady making coffees was lovely) we ordered 2x standard breakfasts 1 came out with chips on 1 with hash browns, the bacon was so hard we couldn’t eat it, the toast was only half done on 1 side and not at all on the other side, cut it short it was absolutely awful. I asked for a fork as there was non and waited 5 mins while the lady continued talking to other staff member before going to get 1. The knives were dirty had to wash with out bottle of water before use, when my partner went to get me another drink the lady behind the counter was slagging a customer off. There was numerous complaints going on from other customers at the time of our visit……. Morrisons sort this cafe out it’s an absolute shambles, will not return here ever again. Dirty, lazy, useless, rude staff

I wish I had looked at the reviews before opting to go here for breakfast on Saturday 24th June. Mix ups with people's drink orders, slow service, unappetising food (barely warm and bread that had been shown the toaster). Staff here appear to struggle with the skills needed to run the cafe. We won't go again

Truly awful member of staff taking my order today. Firstly she called the customer before me a bitch for not saying thank you. Then she wouldn't listen to my order, instead telling me what I wanted and poking items into her till that only she heard. Morrisons clearly recruit their cafe staff from the bottom of the barrel.

You literally couldn’t write it. The cashier came straight from Karen’s diner, abusing the customers before me and tutting when they walked off. I ordered a breakfast and tea, and the restaurant wasn’t busy. When the food arrived 20 minutes later it was cold, so I ate anyway as I had no confidence they would have been helpful. I thankfully won’t be back and only wish I seen the similar reviews here first.

No menus on display. Person on till was unhelpful and off hand. I ordered a full breakfast and a children’s meal. Told there were no tomatoes. This is inside a supermarket so why couldn’t they just get some tomatoes. When food arrived I went to get cutlery but there were no forks. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for forks. Two staff members were shouting and arguing in the kitchen loud enough for the customers in the cafe to hear. What a shambles. I will never return.

Arrived at 1:15pm but could not find a menu. The menu board was empty. At the till, we were told that they were only serving breakfasts. When asked when they started lunch, we were told bluntly that they were ONLY serving breakfasts today! We reluctantly ordered breakfasts wit 1 latte and 1 hot milk. The hot milk tasted as if it had been watered down; not having the texture of milk. The breakfasts arrived very quickly ( probably too quickly!). The mushrooms were the only thing that was hot. The egg was slightly undercooked, the sausages were rubbery and chewy, the half tomato was really cold and the toast was hardly done at all. There were no paper napkins or salt available. Whilst eating the breakfast we noticed the cashier and 3 kitchen staff just chatting for some time near the till. My wife Is partially blind but her sense of taste is extremely good - she says it is the worst breakfast she has ever been served!!! We’ve previously eaten at more than 7 other Morrison’s around the Country and have been very satisfied overall, but Cribbs Causeway is the one to avoid.

Went for breakfast- don’t bother. Firstly no cold dispensing drinks. Flys around the orange juice machine. Then in the drink itself. No coffee as the machine wasn’t working. Breakfast well !!! Disgrace !! If you like deep fried bread cold food then go ahead !! Won’t be retuning !! Come on Morrisons surely you can do better!!

The breakfast was very good and the staff were very polite and helpful. However, the self order station was awful and detracted from the experience. Orders placed were not getting through and it was difficult to use. We’re oldies, but the young couple ahead of us and the man after us all had more problems. Rubbish! Get it changed!

Where do I begin? Self order and pay didn’t work and, based on this experience, this would be hugely beneficial. I waited at the till for SEVEN minutes before being served and, when ordering a full breakfast, was told there were no hash browns - and this is situated in a large supermarket! No reduction in price of breakfast and no substitute item. Poor. I managed to count seventeen tables which requires cleaning and staff present seemed to be clueless in terms of processes and customer service. As much as I enjoy the Catherine Tate show on television, I do t wish to be served by ‘Nan’ and expect a much better service from a major supermarket chain. Not sure if management read reviews, but action is required to address significant shortcomings. My feelings were clearly shared with many others in the cafe, including some who left and decided not to order.

Disgusting state of affairs. On my 1st visit there were were 12 tables piled up with dirty plates, had to ask staff to clear one for me to sit at, but that brought up the other problem... short staffed. No sausages available for the fry-up I ordered, despite being a cafe inside a SUPERMARKET. On my 2nd visit had to wait by till to be served for a very long time. Food was Ok when it arrived but staff VERY RUDE, the cook had a go at me for moving from one (dirty) table to one next to it. Unbelievable. I won't be returning to the cafe, or the supermarket for that matter. I'd rather have a McDonalds breakfast... at least their staff are POLITE and RESPECTFUL.

Meal was dire, chips had been reheated and Luke warm, very rude at till, could not find anyOne to get us condiments. Friends all day breakfast was cremated. Morrison’s should retrain kitchen staff and servers taught how to treat customers, after all we are paying for food. Definitely would not eat here again.

Service was quick & welcoming, efficient & friendly staff. Our full English breakfasts were faultless, really good & set us up for the rest of the day. Great value for money! Thank you Morrisons, we will return again one Sunday morning for a repeat.

Very slow in preparing the food and most of the menu is vey often unavailable. it doesn't make sense coming here anymore, for now I will go to Asda.

This is a review for the Batista cafe just inside the front doors. After a very busy day spent Xmas shopping, popped in for a last few groceries and decided to have a coffee. What a mistake. The girl serving, to say the least, was curt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Certainly won't be back and would be very surprised if this place lasts too long with her attitude.

Shocking service from beginning to end. Twice had to send soup back as it was stone cold, woman behind counter miserable and unhelpful. After 2nd time i told her it was still cold and she said she had microwaved it so should be hot and walked away! We asked for refund and was told to go to customer services! Never again.

After an earlier excellent review of Morrisons near Cribbs Causeway, this visit was very much opposite. We arrived at 2pm for a late lunch - no fish so I had steak pie and chips. It came with gravy but the small jug of so called gravy was not much better then tinted hot water. The pie was a bog standard small Morrisons individual pie and more than likely heated in a microwave, a large spoonful of garden peas accompanied it with some crinkle cut, very basic and dirty looking chips. We have always enjoyed a simple small sized meal here but afteer todays experience we wont ever eat there again.

Went today on 16th August 2019 and waited an hour for food to arrive would not recommend if you are wanting to use the cafe instead of going to the restaurants around the area before going to the cinema.

No voy aquí a menudo, pero cada vez empeora. Es como si el personal no pudiera ser molestado y los clientes sean una molestia.

Toda esta semana la barra de ensaladas ha ido empeorando poco a poco. Hoy es lo peor, no volveremos mañana, pero lo intentaremos minutos por semana. La mayoría de las bandejas de selección de ensaladas están vacías, hoy no había recipientes más grandes que los pequeños, ni tenedores ni cucharas. Mejore esta facilidad o ciérrela.

Great store always immaculately clean, well set out wide aisles for freedom of movement, first class butchery and bakery. Always have what ever I want. Excellent restaurant. Try it you'll won't be disappointed.

Tuvimos un gran desayuno encantador hoy 6/1/19, mucho mejor que el de Cabot Circus, de un restaurante de dos nombres que sabía mucho más fresco y estaba caliente y era más barato, además, la calidad era mucho mejor y el personal era realmente encantador. y no estaba grasiento de todos modos

When on a day when the restaurant was out of some breakfast items, they should put a notice up to say what is missing so you can decide before waiting to pay, on a good day cheap and cheerful food, the new decor is very nice staff are friendly

Went in to have something to eat but was told that at 3pm there was nothing to have and nothing left to cook, so why when they don't close until 7pm. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We have visited this café a few times and it has never been great - tables not cleared, long wait for food etc. This is such a shame as we have been in numerous Morrisons cafés in various parts of the UK and overall they are really good value for money. Today plunged new depths as I asked for a veggie breakfast with no egg and extra mushrooms which I have had numerous times. I was then told "No mushrooms! which seems extraordinary so opted for extra tomatoes, When meal arrived 2 runny looking fried eggs were on the plate. I am allergic to eggs so it wasn't exactly tempting. This café really needs bringing up to Morrisons standards as I can say its the worst Morrisons café we have ever been in.

Breakfast is / has been good in most Morrison's that I have tried across the country. Well this one isn't!!! From the miserable staff member who couldn't be ar*ed, to the cold breakfast and the broken stills boiler for Tea. Give it a miss.

Hubo una oferta especial sobre Jumbo Fish and chips (Bueno, me parece que puedo comerlo siendo un tipo grande) pero elegimos la porción de tamaño normal. Guau, estamos contentos de haberlo hecho. Tuvimos más que suficiente y la calidad fue excelente. El pescado era encantador, la pasta era excelente, las patatas fritas eran muy buenas y los guisantes blandos tenían el sabor de arveja 'derecha'. Tenemos una vez al mes (generalmente) un té de pescado, así que hemos probado muchas tiendas de pescado y patatas fritas en el área de BS 15, pero realmente creo que lo que nos sirvieron fueron probablemente los mejores fish and chips que hemos probado en muchos años . Bien hecho personal de cafetería de Morrisons. Esperé solo unos diez minutos antes de que las comidas fueran llevadas a la mesa. Soy exigente con la comida pero, además de dejar reseñas negativas, siempre dejo comentarios honestos y buenos cuando son obligatorios.

Francamente decepcionado. La sopa de tomate caliente estaba fría como una piedra, Quien en la cadena de suministro no pudo haber visto esto antes de intentar servirlo. La tortilla tenía la consistencia de un panqueque. Era barato, pero uno espera que lo básico sea correcto en cualquier lugar para comer. Sin embargo, tal vez tuvimos mala suerte ya que muchas de las comidas se veían muy presentables y parecían ser disfrutadas por sus destinatarios. Seguramente una mejor capacitación y administración eliminaría nuestras experiencias.

I visited the store to get snacks for my journey, but decided to grab a quick meal, I must have picked the wrong time, as the cafe was closing soon, my meal when it arrived was dry and not up to Morrisons usual good standards.

First time we have visited this cafe and we were really impressed with the fast service that we received. Having ordered the food at the order desk we went on to get our drinks and by the time we got to the table the food was arriving at the table. So we have no complaints at all about the service. The quality of the food was also very good, the fish and chips were huge , the steak and ale pies were full of meat and very tastie and there were no issues at all with the curry. Very good value for money.

I don't have a problem with Morrisons or this store however on this one occasion there was a store assistant stinking of cigarette smoker with literally a trolley load of heavily reduced items for nominal prices leaving nothing on the shelve.

I was told when I ordered that there was a 30 min wait on food. I was told when I enquired at 45 mins that the food comes out in numerical order (35 had just been run I was 37)

Supermarket cafes are what they are. We don't expect the Ritz, but we do expect reasonable quality mass-produced food at moderate prices. For the most part, Morrisons' cafes deliver this. But Bristol Cribb's Causeway failed me badly on my visit last Sunday.In need of a meal having just collected my family off a long-distance train, we headed there safe in the knowledge that the cafe was open until 4pm. And, arriving around 2.55, the signage confirmed this. However, by the time we made it to the front of the queue, it was 3.01 and the cashier informed me first that hot food had finished at 3pm. when I pointed out that I had been in the queue since 2.55 she said that they didn't have anything left anyway. Not only that, but the kitchen could not even heat up one of their paninis.I regularly use my local Morrisons cafe in Liskeard, so am used to low-level management failings - they frequently run out of things, for instance - but this was the first time i have ever heard of any restaurant running out of food. The cashier was inexperienced, and doing her best, so it is quite possible the kitchen staff just told her something outlandish to get her out of the way. Whether that is the case or no, the situation was lamentable. All I could get to eat was a pretty poor sandwich, and my daughter (the panini) went without as there was nothing else she could eat.Please, Morrisons, manage your cafes properly so that they relax and serve your shoppers instead of making them frustrated and tense.

they do a good pastry counter but like so many supermarkets it s swings and roundabouts ,save on one thing and not another.There is a cafe offering cheap meals.Plenty of parking and there is a petrol station.very busy area so choose your time well.

We popped in for a quick cup of tea and a snack after shopping. We certainly would not go back. Many plates next to the cakes were dirty. Not just a crumb on one, but smears from previous use and almost naked on chocolate.Having found a couple of clean plates, we had an Eccles cake and a choc muffin and a cup of tea each. The tea was very poor and unsatisfying; a strange grey colour that didn't taste good - particularly with the UHT milk. The Eccles cake was ok but the muffin was apparently stale. You wouldn't think that you could get a cuppa a piece of cake so wrong.

Morrisons Cafe is great for that quick meal when shopping. I stopped at Morrisons to restock my snacks for the journey, and grabbed a sandwich and coffee. Great service and good value.

Fancied just a cup of tea ... had to queue for 20 mins . No cups ..both drinks machines weren't working ..and I'm glad I didn't order food ... Went to sit down tables were filthy ..finally found one ... went back for milk and sugar ... ran out of full fat milk tubes ....and no no sugarPartner poured her tea ..floaty bits in cup .. these was not tea leaves ...tea pots needed cleaning as they were tea stained ...Other tables were complaining as waiting ages for food ...Staff looked stressed and rushed off their feet .Come on morrisons sort it out .....

Was absolutely disgusting would never come back again! Had to wait ages, everything had been dried up because it obviously got cooked and just left to sit under the heat! Was very disappointed !!!

Just popped into the cafe this morning went to put my little baby in the high chair and it was filthy dirty had to clean it ourselves which is not a problem but surely they should be checking these things. Lovely lady on the cafe checkout.

The food is top nosh and very well priced in Morrisons cafe's. We stopped here on our way home from Devon about 08.30 in the morning. 8 hungry tummies. Orders were placed quickly as there was nobody waiting and only 4 sat at a table. 35 minutes we waited until the breakfast came out in drips and drabs. Poor service really as normally morrisons cafes are very good. Not as good as others for sure.

As a last minute thing we grabbed a bite to eat in the cafe, nice and polite staff but that's it. My all day breakfast was swimming in grease, the flavour of grease overpowered everything on the plate. The toast was burnt, my boys cheeseburger was all tough too. Would never eat there again, despite being cheap. The only decent thing was my youngest sons lunchbox, ham sandwich, fruit bag, yoghurt and drink was very good for the price.

Very nice breakfast, just a little bit slow getting to your table, but still nice, filled us up for the day.

We came here for a light lunch having arrived to stay at the nearby Premier Inn for two nights. It was Sunday lunchtime, we just wanted sandwiches. Whilst there were sandwiches on offer, the whole place seemed to be in chaos. One poor girl on the till who seemed to have to go to the kitchen after every order to relay instructions, dirty cups in the hot drink selection (I ended up using a take away cup!), tables left with dirty plates on them because the return points for trays were full, with no staff seeming to be around to take them away, and no clean cutlery either.To top it all off, the toilets were a disgrace. In the gents, both cubicles were broken and the floor was covered in (what I hope was) water. I felt like I needed to disinfect my shoes on the way out. Ended up emailing Morrisons Customer Services to complain.

Had to wait for our food for 40 minutes no one said how long we gad to wait was not very impressed charged an extra 80 p for something i didnt have i spoke to a manager said they were understaffed i said that wasnt my fault it has put me off at the moment really bad service loads of people were moaning some were waiting over an hour

Went in on Saturday 26 September around 1pm. Cafe not busy, but staff seemed to be short of a good manager/supervisor. Coffee machines not working - no clean cups - told one of the assistants, who was quite indifferent, told that a soup order would be half an hour. Other people complaining about the wait for food. The same assistant was talking to them and then walked back to the kitchen empty handed, ignoring a table piled up with dirty crockery. There was no notice put on the food counter to tell people what was happening - only the till which said 'please use other till'. Come on Morrisons you can do better than this!

Nice for a quick and reasonably priced breakfast ! Quick turnaround, will visit again when in area next.

From the U.S. and stopped to pick up some things at Morrisons. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a singer doing Frank Sinatra songs. That was a first. He wasn't Frank but who expected him to be? The store seemed to have some nice selections of veggies, fruits and meat. The bakery was nice but I didn't see anything special. I mean if you are going to have Frank singing how about some special yummy sweet pies and cakes?It was nice finding parking spaces in front of a business. I guess we Americans are spoiled. I didn't try the restaurant but you would need to be desperate to eat in a place like this to start with. The prices of the meals seem to be cheap so if that's what is important to you then go.Overall I like Morrisons. And from the large crowd of people there I knew I was not alone.

Called into Morrisons to shop ,decided to have a snack .My wife went to order whilst I went to get a table.On looking around I could only find one that wasn't dirty or still had empty dishes on it . Noticed that the man who brought food would sometimes take back empty dishes but to clean the mess off the table he would rub it off with his bare hands?.Our meal came at 14.10 which was not too bad we left the store after doing our shopping at 15.15 and our dishes were still on the table .My question is does Morrisons have a problem with staff cleaning .
