Warm food served on a dirty tray. Table was scruffy. Tea pot was scruffy. But at least I didn’t have to pay extra for the hairs in my breakfast. Least we had all the flies for company. Plates are brown probably to hide the muck on them. Never go again. For the same price we could have had lunch at Sambucca.

Having previously not being impressed with the cafe being messy and the food awful today was different. The food today was back to normal decent portions and coos properly. The staff are always friendly and helpful so glad everything is back the way it was.

The staff are really helpful and friendly, the chips looked like they had been cooked in week old oil and were warm. Nearly all the tables were unclean and had dishes on and this has been the case the past few times I have been here there was only two staff on and clearly the were having to do everything and struggling. Thaw staff really do make the place enjoyable.

Although the food here is fairly good my visit today wasn't. I had to ask twice for my bread and butter, and finally a very unhappy looking person brought it no appology!. When I went to get cutlery, it was all soaking wet!! .No sauces on the counter either. Its wetherspoons for me in future.

Came in with friend who is a wheelchair user. The team trainer helped us find a table, checked in with us and brought our food over. Great to find someone who knew what we needed without being asked.

The staff in the cafe are grumpy. The tables are rarely cleared. For example on monday there was at least a dozen tables full of plates. There was literally 2 tables available a d there was only about 4 tables being used. It's probably not the staffs fault. The lady on the till seems to be doing everything. So I'm not surprised. It's ridiculous.

Not a huge city but absolutely packed full of fun and history. Loads to see and do both culture and cuisine. History comes alive here, such a lovely city to walk and wander. Go back over the many bridges, parks, the quayside, party, shop, dine it’s all here!

Sorry could not find a trip advisor option for Sunderland Morrisons. I and my husband visited today. Plenty of sanitiser available around the store, shopping was safe and easy. Visited the cafe afterwards and it was outstanding. We were allowed in by a security guard who advised us to wear masks until seated. Paid by contactless to cashier who was behind a screen and tables were well distanced and behind perspex also. The most amazing thing is that Morrisons offer the 50% discount 7 days per week, so 2 x fish, chips, peas. 1 x bread and butter, 2 pots of tea and 1 doughnut came to an amazing 6.13. It was delicious also and table service. You can't really beat that on a Saturday especially. Was a bit of a queue which was not surprising! Staff were rushed off their feet bless them, but still friendly and cheerful, hats off to them all.

We often visit, as the food is extremely good for a supermarket cafe. The staff are friendly and helpful, and since the easing of the lockdown restrictions, their Covid procedures are impeccable. The restaurant feels roomier and less frenetic than before the lockdown, with perspex barriers between tables.

Recently popped in to Morrison's cafe after grocery shopping. The weather was rotten and had just missed the bus. Had a lovely hot mocha and a maple pecan plait. I was so surprised the coffee was very nice and was a nice little unexpected treat.

We had to take our car into halfords early Saturday morning so we decided to have our breakfast at Morrison's. We both had the big breakfast along with 2 coffees. The breakfast was 2 bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 sausages, beans, mushrooms, 1/2 of tomatoes and 1/2 slice of fried bread. This breakfast was really good value and the food was delicious. If in that area again around breakfast time or even just for coffee I would go their. Staff very pleasant and very quick with our orders.

Came here with my granddaughter on our way home after a day out. I really fancied a cup of Earl Grey but they had run out of the tea bags. I had to have a normal pot of tea. My granddaughter had lemon meringue pie & I had Apple tart with cream, well,I was going to but theyhad run out of cream. After standing at the til waiting 10 minutes for someone to tell me there was none I had a slice of egg custard tart instead. You'd think with a big supermarket upstairs they could send some tea bags & cream down to the cafe. Also woman behind me complaining they'd run out of diet coke. Next time we'll walk up to Wetherspoons.

To be fair to morrisons they have an efficient cafe which caters well to their customers (mainly pensioners in a budget), they offer good value for money and staff are friendly and efficient and the place is always clean. Much better then asda up the road where the layout is poorly planned, choice is very limited and poor organisation of facilities means tables are left piled with plates and servers shout numbers across cafe and ppl have to go and collect own food.

Pedí los huevos revueltos en tostada. Huevos eran unseasoned y llena de agua. Esto hizo que la tostada estuviera pasada. Odio pasada tostadas. ¿Cómo puede esta comida sencilla para mal? Por lo menos, todos salimos calientes y las camareras eran todos muy agradables.

I seldom shop at Morrison s as I'm not keen on their diary or bread products however one of my staff spotted a tasty looking Meat Feast Sub Roll and decided to buy it for me today. A sesame roll with ham, salami, pork and salad, very nice indeed I may try another soon.

This branch always seems to be a mess as it's so small and stuff is everywhere. The staff have little craic (unlike those at the Monument branch who are great). Could do with taking the COVID shields away as well unless it's now used as protection from the homeless folk who hang about the entrance. Today the Ham Salad Baguette had the texture/ taste of yesterday's. The Apple Juice was not chilled and tastes about half as appley as Tesco's 500ml meal deal bottle. All was not quite lost though as the Belgian Bun was delicious. Value was OK at £4.85 had the sandwich and juice been nicer.

It's so dark and dingy when it gets dark you can hardly see who you're sitting next to especially at the front windows. We've stopped drinking there. Four of us were regulars Friday and Saturday night. A good pub spoilt.

I 'found' this restaurant only because I fancied a change from my normal venue. What a find!! I had a pizza which was amazing. Beautiful fresh dough and a bolognese topping which was divine. Lovely staff and service too. Even the house wine was great value and a perfect accompiment to the meal. From what I saw of other diners, they seemed impressed too.
