Morrisons in South Lanarkshire

O n Thursday I had to stop off for coffee here after collecting my dry cleaning which I had travelled 16 miles to leave , last Saturday. Coffee was fine but when I opened my 'Timpsons Premium Dry cleaning, my coat was dirty, lining ripped and covered in bobbles it's supposed to have removed. Disgusting bad / poor service for £16 + bus fares!!!! Do they think we have money to burn??

This used to be a great place for a breakfast, after this mornings shocker I won't be back. Breakfast arrived minus, toast,hash brown and potato scone. What did arrive was very poor, the Lorne sausage was ok as was the bacon,the mushroom was stone cold and the egg,at least I assume that's what it was was inedible. 😖

We always had fish and chips over several years twice a week but the quality of the cooking has fallen drastically. The fish is invariably overcooked with dark hard batter and tasteless fish. The chips often with lots of black bits as the oil needs changing. Often we had to wait for cutlery to be replaced. Looks like lack of staff and staff overworked and prepared to dish out unsatisfactory food quality or not trained well enough. Got to a point we just couldn't countenance going back. All this with an increase in prices.

Walked into cafe and noticed two staff workers laughing at what I was wearing. I felt so insecure during my breakfast. I think they need manners and look at themselves.

Visited here on Saturday for a full Scottish Breakfast. First no milk in coffee machine. Nothing was hot, bacon uneatable as hardly cooked same for square sausage. This does not advertise the good products that morrisons have to offer. Sub standard, better off going into Hamilton to Belles great Breakfast.

Don't go there. There are fantastic restaurants and coffee shops in Hamilton Give them a try Support local businesses.

Nice surroundings. Prices reasonable - but the wait for food is too long - up to 30 minutes. When our food arrived it was warm, not hot & only average at best.

We heard great reports about breakfast in Morrisons Hamilton , sadly we are so very disappointed we ordered 2 full scottish breakfasts on arrival they were cold the bread was hardly toasted , poster at pay point says freshly made to order clearly not , at total waste of £16.00 not even busy so no excuse if your thinking of spending your hard earned cash here for breakfast don't waste your money

Been here a few times food average I think just needs someone to take charge of the staff as they all seem to haven’t got a clue what they doing and it could be run very well hey even take people of shop floor to help out which we witnessed

After shopping today mum wanted a bowl of soup with crusty roll... had to ask for soup to be heated up and it was served with a large breakfast roll! Which she didn’t eat. (Crusty rolls available in store!) I got a plate of chips that looked like they were reheated from last week! Even the replacements were horrible and not eaten! Menu on the outside but none on the tables... staff weren’t happy when we asked for soup to be heated or sent the chips back! Not a fancy restaurant but should offer warm edible food! Have had to send food back before.... won’t be back!

Nice wee place for breakfast always busy but food cold and usually get orders mixed up. On last visit we got wrong food and roll was mouldy no more breakfasts here for me

Dropped in for a breakfast while out shopping and found menu prices and food good served by a pleasant natured staff. nothing was an effort to change on there breakfast menu if you dont likei.e mushrooms or tomatoes these can be replaced by other breakfast items at no extra cost. Tea and scone was braw to finish

Travelling soon so called into cafe for food. A clear menu lit well to see. We chose bacon sandwich and little scottish breakfast and hot chocolates. Under £10. Got our drinks from refillable machine. A good few seats. Tried puttong out order nuber on raised holder was tricky but did it. After 15 minutes staff brought food out and i enjoyed my first lityle scottish breakfast and bacon sandwich in a big roll. Both food hot and nice. We refilled hot chocolate.. overall average selection. Lots of drinks and cakes. Average cost. A good place for a hot drink, or breakfast, lunch or if needed dinner.

Oh my god just saw member of staff eating chips straight from were they are served hot she actually bit one in half and through it back on top when I approached her and complained she told me go away I would never be believed well BELIEVE THIS I'M NAMING AND SHAMING THIS RESTAURANT MORRISONS HAMILTON NEAR ACCIES PARK. PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T GO NEAR IT'S DISGUSTING

My wife and I decided to have a quick bite before shopping. We used their computer ordering system, I ordered poached eggs on toast and my wife scrambled eggs on toast + drinks. We paid for our meal, took the ticket and sat down having collected our drinks on the way. Shortly after sitting down a lady came fron the kitchen to say they had no poached eggs would I like fried or scrambled. When the meals arrived the toast was warm but still white and it was obvious that they used the cheapest bread they had in the store IT WAS DISGUSTING! My wife's scrambled eggs had been over cooked and was a solid dried out lump my fried eggs were the opposite and under cooked. I have read several "Morrisons" reviews about the Hamiltion and other branches and it would seem that I am not the first person unable to get poached eggs, so why are they on the menu when it would appear that their "cooks" are incapable fo making it. It would help if they used other than the cheapest ingerdiants they can find in the store to use in the kitchen. We have used it several times in the past for a quick coffee before shopping but we should have realised that it was not the place to eat judging by the amount of unfinished meals tha were in the units provided to place your trays on the way out.

We used the computer to order our breakfasts and it came out all wrong we told the server when she arrived and argued with us that this was what we had ordered so tough bananas, my husband then said he just wanted a refund she scrunched up the receipt and walked away so we didn’t even get the right refund... really really poor Morrison’s won’t be back

It started after a brilliant morning with my daughter to the cinema.Afterwards she wanted sausage and toast so immediately I thought of Morrison’s cafe(can’t go wrong)well......It started nearly waiting half an hour and my daughter asking how long is it going to be.it eventually came after two Luke warm coffees,so as we were digging in I went to eat my bacon.i could be 100% correct that this came straight from the fridge too my plate,so I initially complained about it they brought out more bacon.food for your soul.mean soul of your shoe,this was rotten chewey and about the same texture of my shoes.So I returned what I didn’t eat and have been advised that some one will inform me about this.im still waiting and have just left this cafe,this visit has really made me not too come back here.From the beginning of the year the food here has gone slowly down hill as with the service.This is my understanding maybe employ some chefs rather than level two food handlers and you will might get some half decent food and the quality will be cared about.Extremely disappointed with this visit and it’s going to take a lot for me too return here.

Morrisons store wasnt a normal choice for food but we needed some shopping so it was easy and convenient to eat there. The staff were very helpful. My fist choice as always....steak pie but they had run out so that must be really good. I had macaroni cheese and garlic bread. It came perfectly and simply plated with some grated cheese over the top. OMG ive never tasted mac n cheese as good as that ....ever. The staff even came round to check it was ok. I will be back another evening to trythe steak pie!

Went for an early dinner as we had the grandkids & to save cooking.The food looked good however it was tasteless &inedible all 4 of our meals were left half eaten .If we had not had the children with us we would have complained to management but by this time they were fed up so we just left.This has to rank as the worst food i have ever come across. Do yourself a favour and eat anywhere else but here,

Went in today around 15:00. Had to wait at least 10mins before anyone acknowledged me even when I stood at the till. There at least 3 members of staff walked past me and just a ignored me. When I did eventually get served the woman at the till was very peed off at either me being there or her having to work there.

Twenty minutes to get to the till, then told it would be twenty five minutes for soup. My thoughts.....take bowl, take ladle. Fill ladle, empty into bowl, take to customer. One minute, I guess. I was forty five minutes sitting at table waiting. Asked two staff members to come over, but they diverted elsewhere. My table number 17 will haunt me for ever. 65 minutes from start to finish and no soup. I had bought sandwiches, so survived. Forfeited my cash paid and walked away. Shambles from start to finish and I was not alone. Starving customer needing fed. Excuse was that football match had increased cafe numbers. That's nonsense. It was down to just out and out hopelessness. Pathetic organisation. My parsnip and apple soup is only a nice thought.

Over 30 minutes to wait for two bowls of soup! Staff unfriendly and obviously not enjoying serving to the paying public.

For a supermarket cafe this is one of the better one for a quick bit staff are friendly and food is good and not over priced

Good value for money breakfast, Plenty of choices, dull Scottish ticks many boxes. Good choice warm and cold drinks. Service was good. Will happily return

I won't go on too much about Morrisons restaurant, average food, average price and ok if your belly is rumbling, I'd probably pop in if I was REALLY hungry.

Have breakfast here one day a week, it is not too bad the scrambled eggs are lovely, The Egg benidictine is a little strong. But the toast is lovely.

Suitable for families while doing shopping. Open early for breakfasts right until 8p.m. Plenty choice and value for money

Tienda n comer compuesto de potable granos de café y salchichas panecillo y dos el año recién hechas. La única pega es la espera.

Acabo de volver de comer en Morrisons en Hamilton. No había pescado, patatas, etc. cuando llegamos a la factura. Esperamos una media hora y la gambas y patatas fritas eran simplemente horrible, se secó y una muy pequeña porción por £5.00 que tal vez era una bendición ya que estaba mucho menos para salir. No volveré!

Staff are rude and expect 45 minutes from you ordering to have your food served. I asked for fresh breakfast for my mother as hers was cold and I received a very cheeky reply. Not very competitive for a supermarket cafe either. Prices recently risen dramatically.

reasonable food at great prices, the all day breakfasts are good as are the fish and chips, love the sausages too.

The resteraunt was in need of a tidy up with many tables empty but still littered with dishes from previous diners. This is very off putting and suggests either poor management or lack of staff, either way not what customers want.

I have always liked this cafe but after today will not be back. Ordered the Christmas turkey sandwich (turkey in a sub roll, with stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and chips) Roll was dry, turkey was luke warm, stuffing balls rock hard, chips just warm and hard in the middle. Very dissapointing, waste of money. How anyone can think this is an ok way to serve food is beyond me. It has put me off going there for anything again.

the food is always bland and dried out and really only good if you are starving...that being said it seems to take ages for your meal as well

This place is alright 2 meals for £8.00 you cant go wrong you can upgrade if you wish something different and it may cost a little dearer, the restaurant is clean staff are ok dont look very happy although it is always friday about 5pm i am in so they may be tired i will be back for something to eat here

Ordered toast & egg, they had no egg, then went with baked potato, our order came out separate my baked potato was cold so sent it back . They always over charge for something so check your receipt . Don't think they have a qualified cook to be honest Tables are alwAys dirty .

Food is full of grease, chips were reheated , 9 times outa 10 they've always ran out of something. staff were quite cheeky & hot chocolate machine is constantly broke, theres tables needing cleared all the time but just left .

This in-store cafe serves good and cheap traditional food. A good place for a quick bite to eat or a quick stop for a coffee after shopping. The cooked Scottish breakfasts are always a favourite with my husband. Lunch times can be very busy though, so after 12.30pm will mean a wait of more than 1 mins for a cooked food order. Service is always friendly. Could improve its sandwich selection and puddings.

I feel that they are very slow, we waited up to ten minutes at the till point before the member of staff who clearly seen us shouted on someone to serve us - whilst she cleaned the tables. I think there staff need some manners pot into them and trained of how to work in a cafe, apart from a tall dark haired young boy say about 20's as he was very polite and apologetic for our wait, . Despite the slowness.. The food tastes great, nothing special fish n chips scampi n chips currys macaroni but it is good and good value for money.

This is a typical Morrisons restaurant, food generally ok and mid price. My big gripe about this one in particular is the service. When going for breakfast the 1st till is usually off, but there is no sign sayng this, it is left to guesswork. If there is nobody at the 2nd till, then prepare for a long wait, as they pop their head out just once every 5 minutes to check for customers, you can hear them in the back but cant see them. Please install a bell, so we can attract attention

This is the cafe / restaurant which is part of Morrisons Supermarket. It is self service. The premises are clean and tidy and offer the usual range of tea, coffee and snacks that would be expected. Ideal when you are in a hurry.
