Morrido in Scarborough

Fab Chinese the food is great and really reasonable pricing. I have been a few times now and it is consistently good. Wait times are usually around 20-30 mins which is fine.

The food is good but the wait for it is TOO LONG! We walked in on a Saturday evening (yes the busy time) and ordered a meal for two and I then waited just over an hour in the takeaway shop for the food to come out! No warning that it would take this long when I first ordered, and no apology for the wait when they handed me the food! No takeaway on the planet is worth waiting this long for! Meanwhile I saw others coming in and ordering and he gladly took their order without any warning on waiting times. I’m sorry, but totally unacceptable and I won’t be back as a result

Glad to find this take away in Scarborough. Food tasty and so reasonably priced. We will definitely be ordering from here again next time we are in Scarborough.

Excellent starters, we find we could make a meal just from those. Not too keen on the aniseedy five-spice flavouring on the chop suey. Good incentive freebies depending how much you spend. Our local, open seven days a week.

Phoned a order thru for collection on my way to a night shift. Pepperbox £8.50 is was massive large pizza box sized, packed full of well seasoned food. Highly recommended place staff were very polite and friendly

Can't fault this takeaway! Fast service and plenty of choice. Me and my partner order the special fried rice and only need to order one portion of rice as theres that much. Love love love. In fact I'm off to go get one now 😀

Ordered a special curry with chips, chips were ok but the curry, was not curry. It must of had half a tub of salt in it. Looked like a watery gravy and I didn’t even attempt the meat which was soggy and obv cooked from frozen. Managed to eat 2 chips before I binned the lot and ordered from another takeaway. Complete waste of money. Stay well clear

I honestly can’t fault this place. Had loads of meals from here and they have been AMAZING. Really pleasant guy who answers the phone/serves you and whoever cooks is great too - crack chips rule 4eva xxx

Great chinese. Never had a bad meal from here and use it regularly. Would definitely recommend you try it. Won't use anywhere else now 😀

Excellent service, very nice food, ample portions and extremely good value for money. Try the set meal for 2, 2 adults and 3 children share this and its still very filling. Keep up the good work guys A+

I recently went to morrido and was met by a very friendly member of staff, and ordered what turned out to be a very tasty and ample meal for both myself and my wife, and the price was, extremely affordable

They food here is always very tasty. Friendly staff and quick service. Never had a bad meal from here and I visit regularly. Recommend the chips.

The food on the menu looke very nice,and i usually have something with sweet and sour sauce, i tried the chicken in batter with sweet and sour sauce and chips, the sauce had a very strange tase compared with what i have had before these are new owners,not as nice as the previous ones food, not been since

before this takeaway changed hands and was called royal china you got chips or rice with the meal like you do at any other takeaway. now you dont and have to buy them. to top that off the foods awful, never seems to be anyone in here. i don't blame them

We ordered special fried rice, chips, curry sauce and prawn toast and we didn't enjoy at all which was very disappointing. Shame and i wont go there again.
