Moretown Belle in Tower Hamlets

Our table wasn’t cleaned, not even after sitting down. The waiter gave us an extra flat cider that she took 10 minutes to pour and the food delivered was overcooked and un-palatable. Poor experience.

Booked a table for the 6 Nations Rugby plus Sunday Roast Dinner as we had the mother-in-law in tow as it was Mothers Day. Live Premiership Football was on but still had a fabulous table to view in a separate area but the crowning glory is the roast beef dinner. Lots of fresh vegetables, great Yorkshire pudding plus extra gravy. What’s not to like. Oh…and the staff are amazing. See you for Super Saturday 6 Nations next week.

16 of us came in for breakfast. Food was really good and staff are lovely. A little work to do on allergen menu for breakfast, but generally very impressed

Very disappointed. Prices have changed without notification. A small breakfast and tea was£11.45!!! Previously was£6.95 also haven’t bothered to update their prices on their website!

I was in the area and felt like a hearty breakfast. I received a warm and friendly welcome and seated at a booth. I ordered the 'Good Girl' breakfast and a latte. Which was served to my table still piping hot. The breakfast and latte did not disappoint and was even offered a complimentary refill of the latte. Lovely breakfast and lovely service to brighten the day!

My wife and I went here to have lunch and watch a Formula 1 race during our visit to London. Food was great, especially the Sunday Roast and service was outstanding. We had a great time and a nice chat with the owner on our way out. Would definitely come here again to watch sports and have a bite and a pint or two.

Wish I could give less than that. Dirty place I saw a rat as my food was being brought to my table and food looked disgusting as I attempted to leave after complaining I was call the N word that just wanted a free meal.

Wow this place has more TV screens showing different channels than Currys. We only stopped for coffee one afternoon but found the staff friendly and the service was good. If you like your sports this is the place to go. Nice experience.

You can't fault the sports coverage or size of screens in this cracking sports bar. As the afternoon progressed we ordered food which was a bit of a shambles with half of it missing and then arriving much later. Beer is pricey too but the main reason for visiting is the sports coverage which can't be faulted.

As an F1 fan I’ve been to a number of the races. And as a foodie, I’ve eaten in all sorts of places, from chip shops to Michelin star. So, F1 on a massive screen with surround sound and a massive Sunday roast, what better combination? Just around the corner from the Tower of London, it’s a wonderful and history filled walk to The Moretown Belle. Unlike other pubs, you’re greeted at the door by a host, with a warm smile as soon as you arrive. There’s plenty of seating , from booths, high tables and singles to groups. I went with my sister and we both decided to have the chicken for our roast. What surprised me was the variety and amount of vegetables. Fantastic - peas, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I’m pretty sure we had a whole chicken between us. The plate was topped off with roast potatoes and an enormous Yorkshire pudding. We were true heroes and managed to eat a lot of it , but had to admit defeat. You definitely will not leave this place hungry after that roast. Service was slick and professional. I like the smart uniforms and how nothing was too much trouble. More gravy? A proper gravy boat arrived promptly. More drinks? Table service in a blink of an eye. For a part of London you’d expect to be a tourist trap, this is not. Locals, regulars, sports fans who find it online and book with their mates, families, and now me! It’s lovely to find an independent non - chain pub that really cares about just being brilliant. We will be back!

Great place to watch soccer and American NFL football on Sundays. The decor is so fun! The food mainly ribs and wings are delicious. I would make a reservation as they are always busy. The staff is very attentive and they serve great drinks.

I reserved a table ahead of the game, and the staff did their best to be accommodating. The nachos were delicious (and appropriate game food) and though there were issues with the connection to NFL ticket, we appreciate the efforts made to get to our game.

Cracking sports bar in central London, can’t recommend this place highly enough. Staff were all friendly and so accommodating. Plenty of tele’s with a range of sports shown. Pool tables and dart boards and a fantastic range of beers as well! We spent all afternoon in there and can’t wait to visit again.

Professional from start to finish! Walked in off the street to catch the end of a Saturday football match. After a friendly greeting we were advised that the bar was fully booked for a fight event later that night and we would have to go by 8PM. We had no problem and would be gone long before. (But I appreciated the clarity and earnestness of the communication) We were seated immediately and orders were taken promptly. Food was above average. Special props for the onion rings - they were excellent! It is clear that the staff throughout the operation are well recruited, well trained and well managed. A trifecta of excellence in this sketchy post COVID hospitality world. (I can state this as a restaurant owner myself.) We already have a table booked for tomorrows MUN-LIV game! YNWA.
