Try it, you won't regret it. Great food, service and cocktails. I had chilli infused, garlic and lemon prawns with small flat bread to start, that I literally have been telling everyone about. Followed by chicken fajitas, washed down with half priced frozen Strawberry daiquiris. We had a table of 12 served by Amy, Thank you for a memorable culinary night!!

Decided on a family meal here based on 5 star reviews. A terrible experience, nothing authentic about the place (not even Latin music etc.). Our meal was ruined by the only other party in the upstairs (X4) who made so much noise, not even the staff could hear us when ordering. Although the staff were nice and friendly, for this not to be managed, shows an unacceptable level of service - even the kitchen staff looked frustrated... Furthermore, the food was lacking quality/ flavour and not the vibrant, authentic flavours we were looking for. Very disappointed that my family and I were made to feel so uncomfortable we couldn't wait to leave... The free dessert was a nice gesture, but unfortunately the damage had already been done.

Attended for our son's 21st. Attentive staff, even though they were very busy. Food was amazing, the cocktails lovely. We will definitely be back!

Got food delivered, ordered through uber eats - took 2 hours to arrive maybe because the restaurant deal with the deliveries internally rather than using uber. It was cold, chorizo was extremely chewy and the burrito tasted like washing up liquid! Cheese was basically a block of cheap cheese in the bottom of the burrito as well. Not one to write reviews usually but that was absolutely shocking! Shame because the other reviews are great for this place, maybe it’s better if you dine in?

I have been a long time fan of Mexican food in Folkestone and there was always only one choice. Going to Morena has made me re-think this however. The staff were nice and friendly, very helpful with queries and always made sure we had drinks. Food came out very hot and very quick. Mexican food is the best when it is piping hot and this did not disappoint. The burrito was so full of good fillings it was hard to finish! Would recommend and will definitely be coming back for more.

Visited here after a recommendation from the owner of the hotel I was staying at. I had very high expectations but I was not prepared for how good it was. First and foremost the staff were very friendly and attentive, something that is sadly missing in a lot of restaurants these days. As soon as I sat down I was offered the drinks menu and that arrived very quickly. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas and they were so good! The price was very reasonable too. Would strongly recommend Morena!

This is by far the best experience I can remember. The owner and his team are the most friendly I have came across in a restaurant. This place was so busy that they hadn't planned for and sent staff home earlier that evening they were so busy and never stopped all night but still had time for us 3 and evening gave my mother a hug at the end. She is a vegan and very hard to please but well she had eaten everything as did my father and me. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We're from northern Ireland and staying at a friend's on holiday if you read this please go you won't regret it. Massive thank you to all the staff who was working on Saturday night 26th

Oh my, what can I say, first time ordering, delivery was early which was great. Food was piping hot, I even had too let it cool down, we ordered too much, portions we bigger than expected, we even had cheese cake-birthday treat. The whole meal was truly amazing, best takeaway we have ever had, only fault, couldn't eat it all, eyes bigger than belly.. We will be ordering again, but not as much.. Well done too chef and delivery driver, outstanding.

10 of us descended on this restaurant last Friday evening and proceeded to drink fabulous margaritas and tequilas and eat delicious food all night while being served by the generous spirited, patient and friendly staff. Wonderful place, good value, will be returning.

We had a fantastic evening here on a Friday night. We were a party of 10. We received a very warm welcome from all of the staff. The food was fantastic: fresh, great quality and delicious. The margaritas were wonderful too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We got takeaway and it was fine. The kids chicken burrito, nachos, stuffed pepper, and empanadas were good. The beef burrito and tacos were a bit average. Tender, but fairly frequent chunks of fat as well as being a tiny bit lacking in flavour. I wouldn't order again.

We attended the R&B bottomless brunch here for a Hen Doo and it was absolutely incredible! The music was great, the food was absolutely fantastic, so yummy and brilliant portion sizes and the cocktails were made from scratch and really good quality and kept coming. Highly recommend for a hen doo, birthday or just a girls get together!

I arranged a birthday dinner for a friend at Morena, it was excellent. Great communication by messenger, we had the sole use of the room downstairs, we requested drinks to be paid for as we went. Dietary requirements always well catered for. The food was amazing (as usual), definitely some new customers will return. We had a fabulous time thank you very much the Morena team

Booked our work meal here for 14 people and we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and a charming atmosphere that invites you in. Food wait was minimal and it all came out at the same time so no one was left watching others eat. 100% would recommend and for me personally is the greatest Mexican food establishment that Folkestone has ever had.

Average Mexican. Beer nachos ok but ribs and wings not much flavour and lacked sauce. Burrito was quite dry and all in all ok food but nothing to write home about.

Dropped by with my wife only because it looked busy-had some really great food and cocktails that were the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely go back again-best place in Folkestone.

What a meal! We ventured in and have to say that the service was fantastic, especially with our autistic son. Some people are perfect in the service industry and it's a pity more in the UK don't understand that it's all part of the experience! Anyway, the food was so tasty and rich with flavours, that it was a delight to savour each mouthful. We had whitebait, tacos and empanadas for starters, followed by Chicken & Pulled Pork Burritos and a Salteados. All was absolutely delicious and we left nothing on the plates. The presentation of the food was also pretty damn good and that just sets you up for the experience of savouring the taste of everything. Most definitely a place to return to, especially with friends.

The food was fantastic my burrito was gorgeous and the meat was delicious along with the rice in it, I also got the BBQ chicken wings they were succulent and tender, fall off the bone my only criticism was they were a little weak on the flavour. The empanadas I had the chilli beef with cheese were sublime crunchy shell but cheesey beef on the inside and with the BBQ sauce and sour cream it's perfect bite each time. The guacamole is homemade and you can tell it's spot on, the sour cream and the BBQ sauce, the Pico is lovely but my only criticism here is portion size is small for the cost of it, if they were double the size they would be perfect and if you had refried beans it would be heaven. My dad said the rice was very tasty and better than normal rice, but the chips were overcooked my mum said, they both loved there enchiladas tho my mum was glad to see other veg than the normal peppers, onions and mushrooms in hers and my dad said the chilli beef was gorgeous. Spot on delivery time very quick and hot next is to come in and try it out.

Tried this last week & it was amazing. This week the meat was chewier and hard to get off the bone - if I'd had this the first time I wouldn't have ordered it again. Delivery was fine, earlier than expected and the driver called as he couldn't find me.

Upon multiple revisits to Morena the food has always been spectacular. This will be my go to restaurant on any occasion. You must try Morena. Quality!!!

This was honestly the BEST takeaway I’ve ever had. It was so well packaged and absolutely delicious, such high quality ingredients and flavour. Plus the delivery service was amazing!

Having ordered takeaway meals from here before, my partner and I dined in and we were both impressed with the quality and flavour of our meals. Ingredients and meals can be seen to be freshly prepared and cooked in the open kitchen that is seen when entering the establishment, which makes for a nice experience to 'meet' the chefs. Staff are polite, friendly, clean and tidy. If you're a fan of Mexican food I encourage you to try Morena's
