Morano's Churreria y Chocolateria in Milton Keynes

This is a really great little place, the staff are friendly and attentive, the food is timely and of good quality and its reasonably priced. It's a nice place to go if you want a churro fix but don't want to pay through the nose for them like you do at some places. They've got different quantities etc so you can go for a light snack or a large one!). I would recommend the churro bowls, their ice cream is really good and natural tasting! This place managed to get my partner into churro's and now he can't get enough of them!

Went here as group of two families on Saturday late afternoon. Lovely churros and coffee. Hot chocolate great too. All the staff were really helpful and efficient. The churros chocolate dip is authentic Spanish - Some reviewers may have been expecting something more like sticky choc sauce you get with ice creams which is different. They also do take-away. Sockets for chargers at every table which is a useful touch. Hope to return some day.

Absolutely spot on, light and beautifully cinnamonly sugared! Chocolate sauce could be a tad thicker tho - however the dulce de leche soooooo good!

Forget the chains that surround this place. I’ve fast become a regular to take my two daughters with their nana and grandad for coffee, chocolate and churros. Excellent quality churros, always freshly made. I’d like the dipping chocolate to be a tad thicker but that’s just my preference. And always genuinely friendly service. They often provide additional free churros off the cuff and even gave me churros to take home to my wife as she couldn’t make it. You don’t forget this kind of gesture. Truly hope they can make it a success, it’s this type of place that CMK desperately needs.

Freshly made churros that can be had on their own or with an assortment of additional sweets, ice creams and fruit. We tried the simple 9 churros dusted with sugar and with chocolate sauce on the side. Arrived quickly and were piping hot. Great tasting churros at a fairly affordable price. The restaurant is bright and clean, service is welcoming and quick.

Lovely café, convenient location, friendly staff. Very quiet. Coffee was fine but very small. Churros were delicious, crispy and sugary with cinnamon. The chocolate sauce was expensive so I asked for a taster. Unfortunately the chocolate sauce was a gloopy texture with little chocolatey taste and was really disappointing. K did mention this and they said it was the real thing, imported from Spain. But certainly not to my recollection or taste.

Genuinely the best coffee I tried in the UK so far! Service is friendly and it's a lovely treat to have a dessert date here.

Took my daughter for a early morning churros with chocolate. Was really nice and fresh with a great service. chocolate was soooooooo smoooth!!!. Really wanted more but had to hold back, for next time...

After a busy morning of shopping with my wife and daughter, we happened to pass Morano’s and thought – a coffee and some Churro’s would be just perfect. We were greeted by a lovely young man called William, shown to our seats and presented with a mouth watering menu, - we chose some Churro's and Coffee, nice and simple, within minutes our order was fulfilled, what came out was freshly prepared Churro’s and Coffee that was just out of this world. The building was light and clean, service was attentive without being overbearing, I will absolutely be returning and I would be happy to recommend Morano’s to anyone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation of a very decent cup of coffee.

Impressive new cafe directly opposite John Lewis in CMK. My first introduction to Spanish churros - and I'm now a firm fan!! Smart decor - looks like a established group but understand they are an aspiring independent - and they clearly have passion for their concept and how it is delivered. A delicious treat matched by top class coffee. Super clean, friendly staff and decent value for top quality. We will be back!

Came here for a cake and coffee. Coffee was excellent, churros delicious and fresh. Most important place was immaculate. Unlike other coffee establishments locally. Amazing gluten free cake ootiins. In short we won't be going anywhere else in MK.

Meant to visit for a while and finally made it today! Lovely staff, yummy churros and deserts. We had the kids churros for my daughter and a choux-type dessert with praline flavour. Both were really delicious. The coffee was good quality too! Definitely going again very soon!

Breakdown of visit: Service: Lady that served us was very friendly and polite Drinks: Ordered 3 hot drinks, no spoons were received with these (normally expected as standard). Asked for some teaspoons to be given 1 for us to share Coffee: The size of the coffee was fine and as expected however a very bitter taste and left an awful taste in my mouth, no amount of sugar made it any better Hot Chocolate: went down well with those who ordered however was more of an espresso size and expected a bit more. Food: Asked for 12 Churros to share and have half cinnamon and half sugar. I assumed 6 would be sugar and 6 cinnamon. However we got all 12 with half sugar and half cinnamon. Not overly bothered by this but the flavours seemed to blend and couldn't differentiate between the 2. The chocolate that comes with the churros is rather bland considering it is chocolate. It seemed to be watered down. Also as we were a group sharing 12 churros we would have thought that some side plates would have been given but nothing was given. Overall I can say I have tried this and I for one will not go back there. A very disappointing visit.

Visited for my daughter's birthday. Waitress was friendly enough but the hot chocolate although delicious was tiny. Coffee wasn't very nice. We weren't even given tea spoons to stir our drinks, had to ask even then we only given 1 to share. Dessert wasn't bad...

I’d come here again 10 times over. Churros were gorgeous as was the authentic chocolate both dippable and dunkable! Service great, staff lovely, but for the prominent location I fear they need to expand the menu....

I have never had good churros in the UK apart from here. Very simple menu meaning they are concentrating very hard on making excellent churros. My Spanish friends have them the seal of approval too. Please add porras to the menu!
