Moorends Fish & Chips in Doncaster

Called in today (12/5/25) Ordered 3 medium Cod, " cooked to order"chip's, peas and curry sauce. The quality and quantity were faultless.. We throughly enjoyed them . If anything the curry sauce was maybe a little runny, but tasted fine. Will use again.

Nice battered sausage and chips

Ordered large Cod and Chip, fish was broken in two pieces and probably the smallest fish I've ever seen! Definitely not LARGE and was very thin like 1 inch!!!!!, I weighed it on digital kitchen scale 6 ounces!!!!!!!! Total rip off. Never again for me, would advise everyone to order somewhere else. Also was stone cold.

As a truck driver good to find good food and now know will deliver to where I park, great for the winter nights.

What can I say, order placed at 18:51 with a time given of 19:40 for delivery. Chased a couple of times to say it was on its way, but on the 2nd call was told then it was with other orders. Food arrived 20:10 and opened to find chips soggy and cold. Called to complain but manager was not in. Was told it was busy and only one driver. Why accept so many orders if you can’t handle them, why could you not call customers to advise if things are running late due to being understaffed with delivery drivers? Sometimes things do go wrong and things can sometimes be out of our control, but it doesn’t stop communication if you have someone’s contact details?

Always a great fish and chips from here. Online ordering is great and the staff serving are helpful. Great work!

The staff are really friendly and the food we have had has been excellent

Well impressed, tried these guys today and ordered large fish and chips, small curry sauce and scraps, the fish was white, thick and juicy/ tender, the batter was excellent, light and golden crispy, chips where good and plenty of them. Great value guys and you obviously take pride in what you serve, great friendly service, really enjoyed these, will definitely be coming again, thank you.

Medium cod and chips regular curry and peas and can of Diet Coke. Prompt deliver using justeat arrived before time stated on the app. Will return if in the area.

My son ordered takeaway at 7.30 for delivery ...was told b delivered around half hr. Rang them back n was told delivery around 20 past 8 as they were busy FINALLY turned up at 10 2 9... Warm.... No apology from the driver about it being late... This Use to b a brill chippy..

Best fish and chips around town food is good but all online orders i have made have all turned up with something missing either drinks or a meal after ringing back they sent it out promptly

Been twice now friendly staff portions r huge a regular chips for £1.90 could feed 3-4 people only downside a lrg sausage costs the same but really didn't matter that was the dogs dinner and she really enjoyed it lol,but no seriously very good ,will definitely b bck .

Very good quality food at great prices, never had anything bad, although salad portions need to be bigger with the kebabs.

Usually really good and friendly, but tonight absolutely shocking service and even worse customer service! After our order was over an hour late and being unable to get hold of anyone on the phone , I drove up to see if they were even open, was met with very abrupt and frankly disgusting attitude from the staff, will not be returning any time soon

First time using, I work in their delivery area. Just had the best fish & chips I've had in a very long time, in fact I've never had better. Even the delivery guy was polite.

Well this is my local chippy but last night was not good, it arrived looking like a normal size fish when I ordered large and then is was so greasy it dripped fat all over the table. Won't be buying again

We have not used this chippy for a lot of years but happened to call in on the way past a few weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised how nice the food is. We go there at least once a week now.

No complaints here. Food all cooked from fresh and very friendly staff. Boss takes pride in his food and training of staff. Cleanliness is 5*

Great kebabs but cheap rubbish burgers do not waste your money on them better with rustlers microwave 1ns they have more flavour

Good portion sizes. The fishcake I had was home-made and I really enjoyed it with my chips and curry sauce. The small fish was larger than expected but hubby enjoyed it all

ordered last night chips not delivered phoned up got appology will send chips right away still not there 20 minutes later phoned back was told sending now so i said forget it meal ruinrd will never order again minus 3 stars + chips n fries were re-heated

Used to be nice food with good value for money. Now half of time the chips are raw and portion size has become a joke! Large bag if chips wouldnt fefeed my 2 kids and they are only 3 and 5

The best mushy peas around! And they don't give you a tiny amount in a little pot. Fish is also good.
