Large pizza delivered in bag too small all topping slid to one side brilliant pizza just need a bigger delivery bag

Very expensive for what you get. Pizzas weren’t warm and dough balls tasteless. Very disappointed and won’t order from here again.

First time ordering! It was nice but not worth the price!

Delivery time getting longer and longer food was stone cold by the it arrived, also no flavour to the mac n cheese had to add salt n pepper myself for there to be any taste, the cheese on the pizza just fell off & had to reheat all 3 meals the only good thing… was the apple tizer and dough balls.. will not go again

My girlfriend took me out for my birthday and we had Marta as our server. She came across as someone who genuinely enjoys her job and happy to serve. She didn’t have a facade, she was straightforward and happy. She was a joy to have as our server

We regularly like to come to Pizza Express (about once a month) and enjoy our visits. The rewards app is fantastic! All the staff are wonderful and friendly when we visit. Amazing service from Marta, friendly and kind, fast service, constantly checking in on our meal, drinks topped up, table water brought without being asked. Really good service specifically from Marta, we definitely got out in the right section today. Will definitely return and hope Marta is there again.

Our server was Courtney and she welcomed us soon as we got in, very friendly and smiley. Took our order perfectly, and asked if we wanted more time to order. The restaurant was quiet and had a great atmosphere, the food was amazing too. We had American hot and an American classic. The desserts were amazing too! Very fast service!

Love this restaurant, the staff are always on point (especially Courtney!) and they never bat an eyelid to fussy orders 🤣 the food always comes out perfect and in good time (props to the pizza makers!), and with plenty of offers on all year round you can definitely get your value for money here. Visit frequently and will continue to do so 😌

Muy decepcionado . no hay patatas fritas en el menú, lo que significa que mis nietos estaban muy molestos también por los adultos. tamaño de la pizza pequeña . lasaña era agradable, pero simplemente básico sin pan de ajo o ensalada, etc. El personal era muy amable y servicial, pero no voy a volver y definitivamente no recomendaría a nadie

Had a birthday celebration here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The down side was no chips on the menu so we were disappointed especially the children so sadly won't be going again. If I had read the menu before hand I wouldn't have booked

Pathetic dining experience. They served the order after fifty minutes even when they were not busy. Dont recommend at all. Th staff was rude and really unprofessional

We have been coming on a weekly basis as a family now for several months and we can not recommend enough. The staff are all fantastic- helpful, nothing too much trouble, happy and always welcome us with a smile! All of the staff are amazing but particular mention to the manager who is always on hand to help and Marta who has an infectious smile and brightens up the room! Amazing staff and amazing food- well done Pizza Express Doncaster!

Nos conocimos y nos atendieron por Jeanette que era una absoluta delicia, sin duda se podía ver que Jeanette era súper experimentado y su experiencia de cliente fue un 10 / 10. La comida y el servicio era fantástico como siempre, el Castleford Pizza Express está en realidad más cerca de donde vivimos, sin embargo, siempre vamos cada mes al Doncaster, ya que el servicio siempre es mucho mejor. Bien hecho Jeanette y el equipo para un maravilloso restaurante, comida y un servicio excelente.

Didn’t arrive with any dips for the dough balls. Just had dry dough balls

Pizza cut / lined in to the weird sizes one massive slice one tiny, not cut all the way through and also seemed very light on the topping when you order on a deal

Next to salad in the box and laid extra for chicken and there was not any at all.

We eat here every week. The food is always top notch. The staff are also a delight to deal with and they are all very friendly, especially the lovely Marta, always smiling always happy, she is a credit to pizza express.

The kitchen staff were horrible! Making remarks towards customers and other kitchen staff members. Also food was shocking!!!

Food was meant to be here for 7:20, arrived for 8:46 when it arrived the pizza was freezing cold and wasn’t even cut, the pasta was barely warm. Side dish sauce was fully hardened, I’m quite disappointed really

Pizza was cold and not had been cut into slices. for the cost, you would at least expect them to cut them into slices.

Delivery time kept getting pushed back. it changed more than 5 times. Driver was very polite, but struggled to find house. Pizza was cold, Dough balls in blankets were so cold that the fat/butter had congealed in the box. Brownie was soggy from sitting in the chocolate sauce for too long

I was very impressed by the quality of food and its great taste. I asked for a hot American pizza and that's exactly what I got with lots of delicious topping and a crispy base. Service by Jeanette was equally good. She was polite, helpful with the menu choices and rapid with no fuss which added to my enjoyment of the meal. The place was warm, clean and welcoming. I recommend this place and will return. It's a great start before a cinema experience at Vue which is just a few yards away.

little disappointed the food was nice but the boxes it came in was warmer than the food. food was cold but still tasted nice.

Learn your stuff how to slice pizza. Pizza is always not sliced properly.

Marta was amazing, she really helped us with the menu, and the app, she was happy to talk about the desserts and knew everything in the menu. Quick service, nice food, a great way to start before the cinema next door.

He did not deliver the food and said it was delivered ..he never called me. i lost £32 and no one to call . I need my money back .. horrible service

Went for a pre movie dinner. Staff and service were amazing. However, my gluten free pizza from the festive menu was stodgy, spongy. The dough base was horrible and I would question cooking time as it had a line of darker undercooked dough through the middle. I know what you’re going to say ‘gluten free’ however I’ve had many gluten free pizza bases in different places and not had such and unpleasant experience. Shame. Add to this the app - out with work colleagues and discover the price advertised is only such if you download the app … 30 minutes of messing about for it not to work …

everything was cold and had to be re-heated, my drink was missing. I gave them 1 star for at least not cutting the pizza and risking cross contamination. delivery driver was pleasant enough.

This pizza express offers good food, service and have a safe atmosphere. Not much to complain about and I would recommend the classic doughballs.

Very good food and attentive friendly service from the team. One lady whose name I didn't establish but possibly Italian (apologies if she isn't) is always very nice when we visit, and nothing is too much trouble.

It was a spare of the moment visit before going to see a comedian at the Dome across from Pizza Express. Dealt with quickly as soon as we entered the restaurant and seen to our table. Our waitress was so approachable and genuine.

Sorry but not been here for a good few months thought it give it a try for something different but what a shame £197 4 of us with no difference to a fast food place, staff were good and trying to upsell as most do but everything has got smaller, the pizza was smaller than before, the layout wasn’t like before as massively cut costs to the point it’s what’s quick and cheap. The experience i thought they can’t be bothered any longer ether Sorry but at that price it’s a weeks shopping for nothing more then having a take away as something extra, this place just didn’t work no wonder people don’t go back Yes I am in business myself but work out the costs pizza and drinks around £25 person, that’s with profit at £100 but almost £200 for similar to McDonald is just greed We won’t be back again sorry it’s just not worth it, better to have a party at home As a level 8 guide in Google this is one place for a night out I wouldn’t recommend

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Three items Ordered, one was missing. Called and got the whole " sorry, it's been so manic, I've hardly any staff " story. You had to count to three.....

Didn’t have big expectations but the place exceeded them. Calamari was fresh and tasty, pizzas were delicious and Mac and cheese were also very tasty was nicely surprised by it all. Tiramisu was okay a little dry, however the honeycomb cheesecake was really lovely.Will definitely come back:) the 3course offer is definitely worth it.

Pizza was nice enough, wings were nice as well, no complaints there. HOWEVER. They list drinks as "requiring a bottle opener" and a price of £3.30 suggested it was a large glass bottle. What I received was a normal can of coca cola. for £3.30 which is an absolute rip off. I've never known a company mislead customers so much, it's disgusting.

Excellent quality, hot and fresh pizza. The Padana is always delicious and never greasy. With the bundle deal, I can get a calamari and a pizza which gives me, basically three meals for 15 quid.

Garlic bread tasted like a donut with cheese, mushroom dish was inedible, and carbonara was tasteless overall I’d never order from here again complete waste of money and left hungry as unable to get food provided

Just had a lovely meal at the Doncaster branch at the dome, food was great. And even tho their were only 3 staff on, with the restaurant bursting at the seams they managed to keep calm and get the food out hot and very tasty. The 2 ladies and the chef deserve a medal. If not a pay rise.
