terrible service , delivery time stated , 40 mins late i call and apparently is in car , 30mins later , still in car apparently as driver went cornard first , then another 20 mins call up and they say now cooking in the kitchen !!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

The food here is amazing. It's my go to take away. Great choice, price and always delivered on time.

Food ordered through just eat, arrived at about the right time. Within a few minutes we realised an item was missing. On the phone we were told it would be 10 minutes.After 30 minutes we rang again, we asked for a refund as it would now be too late to eat. Not able to talk to anyone about a refund, they wanted us to accept the food- in 10/15/20 minutes. We apparently need to ring back later to talk to someone else. I think I may be waiting a long time to get a refund.

This place gets a lot of bad rap but the two curries I’ve had from moonlight within the last 6 months have been great. We used to frequent Kohinoor but after a few bad meals (it’s so oily) we decided to try somewhere new - and we weren’t disappointed! Ordered a king prawn sag, rice, Bombay potatoes, and a few other sides on a Saturday night and it was delicious. The king prawn sag was well flavoured and not greasy at all, although perhaps for the price it could have done with a few more king prawns! The potatoes were fluffy, and the tarka dhal thick and creamy. We love the green sauce that comes with the poppadoms. It was also ready to collect in just 25 minutes. Recommend this place!

My wife ordered through Just Eat, given a arrival time of 6.20pm. The food arrived at 7pm after we rang and chased. When it did arrive we were missing mint sauce, my tandoori mixed grill was small and terrible quality. The lamb (if it was lamb) was so tough I could not cut it and after chewing the first piece for about 5 minutes I didn’t bother with the second. Then we got to the naan and keema naan, which were so burnt when you ate them all you could taste was burnt. I rang to complain and was told as we ordered through Just Eat they won’t help. Just Eat should not trade with them and I advise nobody eats from here. Awful food and awful service.

Really yummy last minute food. 8 months or so I had a delicious meal collected after a late evening at work. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks, ordered for myself and my dad and was so disappointed. However, I persevered and the last 2 meals I've had have been incredibly tasty. Flavoursome curries, crispy onion bhajis and fluffy bread!

Had a meal and the food is very very nice indeed...the fish masala starter tasted amazing...the staff are all very polite and Mia is very well mannered...excellent restaurant and comfortable surroundings.. D.gray

Ordered from here on sat eve, food was delivered on time , tasted ok , but just far to expensive for a takeaway. £26.00 for two people , just a main meal , no starters ,no desert. Paid the same ordering a takeaway from a restaurant where you’d expect to pay over the odds.

I Have had takeaway deliveries from moonlight before and were always good but now they are under new ownership the dishes are authentic, the peshwari dish is amazing & veg rice really tasty. The keema naan bread was delicious hard to beat so definitely the best Indian in Sudbury

I ordered a chicken vindaloo and got lamb. I phoned to let them know but the guy on the other end just shouted "it is on its way.!" then the phone went dead. There was rice and naan missing and the lamb was full of grease. We chucked it in the bin. The delivery driver was on time and friendly.

Used this takeaway in the past and portions have always been genorous though quality was variable. Can't comment on delivery as always collect. Now changed hands and has improved greatly. Probably the best takeaway Indian food in Sudbury.

Firstly, order not ready on time, had to wait an extra 15 minutes. Moonlight special curry was only fit to give to the cats who normally wouldn't touch a curry with a barge pole but this tasted more like an Irish stew. Bland and flavourless.

Week in week out, never fails to impress.......quality meals, generous portions, great, great taste and value for money.

Not the best or cleanest Indian around just put it that way,,, didn't like the curry and it didn't taste like, chick.

When we ordered the food, the person on the phone said the delivery would be 45 minutes, we had to wait almost 2 hours! When the food did arrive, it was cold and had to reheat it. My curry was very salty and the rice was definitely not fresh. The poppadom was like eating cardboard and overall it was a waste of time and money and will definitely not be using moonlight again!

Tenía llevar este viernes y era, sosa, insípido y falta de color. Realmente mala comida por el precio, más de lo que fuimos en la papelera. Fuimos a recoger ni siquiera estuvo listo pagado por la comida en el momento de la llegada, cuando la comida eventualmente llegar dejé tienda sólo para ser persiguieron por la carretera a tachar de no oaying!!! No sirven a Guy tienen una idea de lo que mi pedido aún. !! La última vez que usar la luna.

Very tasty food worth the wait

This was not a good takeaway or any where near the normal standard we have come to expect. The poppadums had a strange taste and were all broken upon delivery. We ordered prawn dhansak main course and got chicken. Ordered peshwari naan and got plain naan which was so heavy and doughy it was inedible.

Phoned up when it was 40 minutes late to be told they hadn't even left the restaurant with our order yet so ended up arriving an hour late. Food was nearly cold and quite bland. Shall not be ordering again

Ordered on a Saturday night so you kind of expect it to be busy, that wasn't the issue it was delivered 40 mins after estimated time when I contacted them to find out where it was I was addressed by a rude lady he informed me driver was on way then hung up, once we finally recived our dinner not one pompadom was whole near was the food particularly hot taste was bland will not be ordering from moonlight again

Food was good as always. However the food arrived late and the order was incomplete. After calling the restaurant the lady had a bit of an attitude and claimed that the order was complete. After this they quickly resolved the issue and delivered the rest of the food as quick as they could.

And the sauce tasted like a unseasoned cheaper version of bisto. And just how do you make a kema nann tast like the drip tray from a kabab house on a busy night.? Only good thing I can say is it turned up warm.. and the funky green sauce.

Nice food, good size portions and delivery on time

My food was nice but my girlfriend got a mild bout of food poisoning from her curry causing her to be sick. Hasn't happened when we ordered before so may have been a one off but will try elsewhere next time.

Mi marido y yo decidimos probar la luna por primera vez después de conseguir un folleto a través de la puerta. Tuvimos nuestra comida entregado y cuando abrimos la bolsa nos quedamos impactados al descubrir nuestra comida parecía asquerosa, incluso los salsas para poppadum parecía luminoso verde y probado saturado, debería haber estado con una advertencia: bio de peligro. El resto se agravó por lo que llamamos para protestar. La señora en el teléfono era extremadamente grosero y no habría que su comida era mala. Sostuvo conmigo por lo menos 10 minutos antes de colgar en mí! Nunca me pide de nuevo fue la peor comida que he probado en mi vida.

El día 14 febrero de 2015 de San Valentín, mi pareja y yo pedí un pollo Korma 7.50, naan Peshwari y arroz de llevar de luna, Sudbury. Cuando regresamos a casa, nos dieron una 1 Tikka seca de pollo con unas cebollas y sencillo naan....

Quantity great quality very very poor. Tikka masala was just a sugary sauce with no taste of curry or spice at all. Pilau rice more like plain boiled rice. Lids not put on properly and everything covered in oil. Would never ever recommend or order ever again. Better quality in tesco chiller section!!!

Vaya aquí con regularidad, buena comida, buen menú. A un precio razonable. ajo chili cordero con cilantro mi favorito. Llevar sólo.

Tasty food, hot, with free popadom. Unfortunately it was an hour later than they said it would be and the driver got lost. Although it is a first order I will give them the benefit of the doubt as it was tasty and it was a Friday night and the World Cup was on so assume they were busy. I will try again and hope delivery will be quicker, thanks

Pedí el pollo Tikka massala y era casi incomible. Ninguno de el picante sabor de curry esperaba de comida india. Lo único bueno era la velocidad a 10 minutos de llamada a recoger.

The deliveries we have from Moonlight are always delicious and still hot when it arrives at our door considering we live 20 mins away, the prices are good our family of 5 can have a nice meal for around £45 also they do a lovely mild peshwari dish only downside is I would like more variety of vegetables in the accompanying vegetable curry dish of the biryani.
