The best Breakfast/Brunch cafe Prestwich or Whitefield has to offer - Nothing not to not like about the food & whatever you order looks interesting in a good way. Brilliant coffee/iced coffee’s etc they will also do decaf iced coffee’s.

Small cafe where we held a meeting upstairs. Food quality and taste was very good, albeit a lot of items involved cheese. Instead I enjoyed harissa chickpea smash, hummus and beetroot sandwich which was not something I’d have chosen but it was good. Sweet treats looked divine with a bit of weakness from me for the chocolate chip cookie. Coffee very good. No site parking so rely on the local side streets.

Love the food here and have never had a bad brekkie. The service was great; the staff were friendly and attentive but not over the top. I highly recommend Moonbeam to anyone looking for a fab little brunch spot. Lovely little dog friendly spot. My only drawback is that certain coffees come served in glasses and it burns my hand, but it definitely wouldn’t and hasn’t put me off returning.

We have passed many times on the way to another breakfast favourite further up the road. Today we decided to stop at Moonbeam instead for a change. I am so glad we did. As frequent lazy Saturday Breakfast people, we were keen to see what was on offer. A very different sort of breakfast menu, with lots of variety. It is a little more expensive from your normal local cafes, but totally worth it. My husband had a full English and I decided to have the French toast with Apple compote and vanilla mascarpone. The English breakfast was declared the best he has had in a long time. My French toast was bloody wonderful. Apples perfectly cooked, not too sweet, not too tart. The vanilla cream, heavenly and the French toast perfect. The trio together was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable and we will be back.

From the outside Moonbeam looks unassuming and doesn’t quite give hint to just how good the food is on the inside! We visited here on a Saturday morning for brunch and a coffee before a long walk. I’m not really a brunch person but the alternative option's from the usual full English on the menu appealed to me and as big fans of their sister restaurant Campo Blanco we decided to give it a go. I opted for the Sausage Ragu and the hubby had the full English. My sausage Ragu was nothing short of phenomenal!! So so tasty. My husband said his full English was also fantastic - even complimenting how tasty the tomatoes were which as a bit of a tomato dodger is high praise indeed! Service was rapid and attentive. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. A fantastic addition for the local area, less so for my waistline. We will definitely be back

Good afternoon. I just wanted to drop a quick message to say thank you all for being so attentive, during my visit earlier today with my baby boy. I didn't manage to get names of your employees but they were fab! Thanks again, and I'm so pleased you now open on a Monday! 😊💯🫂

Absolutely love this cafe. Hands down the best in the area, I come here whenever I'm up this way for work (1hr 10 away, but worth it if I time my visit with Moonbeam opening hours). Coffee is delectable every single time, I've never been disappointed. Service is always friendly, and they've recently renovated to improve the already brilliant cafe into a cafe-bar. There's outdoor seating too, which I'm yet to try.

Live not far from here so have had brunch a few times now and gradually working our way through the menu. Every dish has been delicious with big portions and lots of taste. Recommend the Turkish Eggs, French Toast, Banana Bread and the Avocado on toast. Really happy that dogs are allowed in and they now have an alcohol licence. Staff are absolutely lovely as well. Hoping that they will be able to have some outdoor tables at some point too!

A quick visit before I go to work. We were served by a waitress and she asked if we both had any allergies. I am allergic to strawberries. I was then told that the chef would have to be made aware, which is completely understandable. She came back and told me that she wouldn’t be able to serve us as there were strawberries all over the kitchen. Despite me wanting a savoury meal. I did offer to sign a disclaimer. We were offered free drinks for the inconvenience, but after waiting for 15 minutes we decided to leave with no visit from the chef as advised. Word of wisdom do not visit if you have any food allergies as they can’t accommodate for yourselves.

We visited twice in two days. Food and drinks are great, the food menu is a little sparse. The service was a little rough around the edges, slow and forgetting drinks. Well worth the prices and a visit if the service was improved quite drastically. Such a shame! It feels like they have gotten busy and the standards have slipped. Dog friendly which is of course a plus!

This is such a gorgeous place. I came recently with my little boy and my husband. Children are so well catered for - special cutlery for toddlers, crusts cut off toast, a great choice of food, loads of toys to play with. I can tell that these things are specially thought out and as a parent they’re hugely appreciated. The food was amazing and the coffee (oat milk flat white) was great too. I love the quirky wallpaper upstairs and the decor and even heard a lovely story about how the name Moonbeam came about. There was a lovely calm atmosphere. Absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

What a little gem, the food here is different to most other coffee shops or brunch places in the area and is a must visit, I know we will definitely be going back. My husband had the Turkish Eggs with some additional black pudding and I had the Chorizo Hash with some additional halloumi (but we tried each other’s as well as we always do) which were both so delicious that my mouth is watering now as I’m writing this and thinking of them. We also tried a dirty chai to drink which we had never tried before, it’s an unusual taste but one I got used to and still thinking of, so think I may try it again. The only reason I didn’t give this place full marks was just that we were taken to a seat upstairs at the back of the building and it felt a little chilly (although it was a sunny day) maybe it was because we were the only ones in that room? the front seemed a lot more inviting as the sun was coming in through the windows there, so would have been a preferred option if we had been given the choice. Downstairs is really lovely too but sadly full when we went so not an option for us on that day but with food and service as good as this, we will be back again.

This is the 3rd time we have been to Bury market. But the first time we have been to this tea room it is well worth a visit. friendly staff, clean, the food was great to. I do not know why we did not go to this cafe before because it is near the bus/tram station. We will go again

Called in for drinks and snacks. We ordered tea and iced peach tea. The milk for the tea was curdled and the peach tea was tasteless. Both had to be replaced. The staff were very good abut it. The bagel and currant teacake were both very nice.

Have been coming here for years. No offence at all to the other chefs but they have a new young team and the food was unreal! Best food I’ve had there and maybe the best burger I’ve ever eaten. Steak and bacon and all three of us who had it were absolutely wowed. Perfectly cooked and excellent in terms of quality and quantity of meat. My Dad and my Uncle love coming here and we will be back.
