Monkey Leaf in Lambeth

We recently popped into Monkey Leaf for brunch, having been able to book a table last minute. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and in spite of the restaurant being busy we didn't wait for food. Staff were lovely and the team are welcoming. The music choice on the day was also really good.

We called ahead to check they could fit us in as we know this place is gets busy - luckily they had a table free that was big enough for our group. Everything on the menu sounded amazing so it was hard to choose but we ended up ordering chorizo poached eggs, breakfast burrito, veggie breakfast and eggy crumpets. It was all delicious! And the waitresses were friendly and efficient too. Would definitely come back here for brekkie again.

Great breakfast and great varied menu, I went for the California which was delicious and very affordably priced. Coffee was great and a refreshingly good size compared to most these days. Great service and relaxing interior. Will definitely return

Fantastic place for delicious meals. Service is attentive and food is exceptional. We were visiting from Australia and we were so impressed we went 3 times in a short space of time.Highly recommended.

Our daughter has recently moved to the area and we had brunch there yesterday. It was delicious, really excellent quality with lovely service. We will be back for sure!

We love this restaurant for both brunch and evening meals. Let's set the scene. The decor is inventive and very welcoming, both in the day as well as the evening. The drinks menu is fabulous and catered for everyone's taste including special non alcoholic drinks. The menu will give you lots of options so you will need to come back to taste over dishes. I love the staff, they are so welcoming and helpful. It also helps that they are dog friendly. Our dog absolutely loves them! You can sit out in the summer but as it is such a light and airy space, eating in is also great. It is helping put Streatham back on the map for great food. Love them!

Honestly it’s the best restaurant in SW16. The atmosphere is great, the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. We’ve been so many times and the quality and service never wavers!

Was meeting a friend in the area and found this place by chance. So happy we got table cause the place was busy. Saturday brunch time is the thing. We both really enjoyed breakfast - poached eggs with salmon and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Exceptionally good food. Friendly and fast service. Couldn’t be better. We definitely coming back! Delicious Brunch at the Monkey leaf cafe. We had the California, poached eggs with hummus smashed avocado and sweet chilli, just divine!! And fantastic warm and welcoming staff!! We will back!!

Food is delicious and the team are so accommodating. Would highly recommend going here for breakfast lunch and dinner! The chicken club sandwich is a particular fav of mine.

We have visited this cozy place few times for brunch and dinner, it was only the best experience so far ! Prices are very reasonable, stuff is very kind and food is delicious!

Really a hidden gem in this part of London. Tasty sandwiches and rich coffee but also check out their signature cocktails. Autumnal GinTonic could give established cocktail houses a run for its money. All in all - comes recommended.

You won’t be disappointed if you visit Monkey Leaf. Freshly prepared and generous portions. They catered for 80 at my local tennis club Christmas party and the food was outstanding and loads of it!

There is such a warm welcome here, the staff couldn't be friendlier and more eager to please. The cocktails are great and the food is well cooked and presented. Portion sizes are definitely generous!

Stumbled upon Monkey Leaf Cafe by accident this evening. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing (didn't know broccoli could taste so good!). This will definately become my go to place on Streatham High Road. Excellent first impression.
