Tasty food, large portions, friendly staff. We recommend it!

Didn’t eat in there, got an ice cream and my mum asked to use their toilet, the man said yes and showed her where to go upstairs. We then heard her screaming for help as there was no lights outside bathroom and she fell down the stairs, hitting the wall at the bottom. The man did nothing to help, no apology etc. he just said “no light” and he didn’t even say goodbye when leaving. She has bruised her back, wrist, knee and cracked a rib. She asked for a drink of water which he got but I’m sure he charged us for at the end. Disgusting service and would not go back again!

We arrived around 10 p.m., despite the late hour, they received us with a smile! Impeccable service, we really loved it. Excellent pizza! Great discovery in Oban! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😃

I had such a bad experience here. I asked the boy there if i could taste the ice cream as i was confused what to order and he said only one tester per group and we were a group of 5. Extremely bad and rude service

Dry , dry , bland kebab, says its New German doner! Meat was dried out which resembled beef jerry, the bread was oily , just no care ....

The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was some of the best we've had in a long time. Their pizzas, in particular, are outstanding and should not be missed. If you're in the area, definitely check it out—you won't be disappointed!

We had ice cream made by the famous Equis of Hamilton. I had vanilla, partner had mango and butterscotch. Vanilla good, mango too sweet and butterscotch ok. The place was quiet when we went but it was late. Seemed oriented to take away but lots of seating. At 3.75 for two small scoops of ice cream not cheap.

Food was tip top. Great quality and great portion. Pizza very good indeed. Recommended. A bit slow but friendly service.

This place looks great from the outside but we've just had two Chicken meals we couldn't finish. The fried chicken drumsticks and piri piri strips were really poor. No flavour in the batter at all, relatively small portions, we had to wait 20 mins for our food, which we were only made aware of after we had paid. The staff were friendly and the food was hot, i give very honest reviews so hopefully some changes could be made to the fried chicken because you can't advertise as a fried chicken shop and produce such poor quality.

1 hour and a quarter for two burgers and some fried chicken. Exhausting wait in a kitsch location saturated with the smell of fried food which made the air unbreathable.

I should have listened to the other reviews. I ordered two pizzas and waited in as they said it would be fifteen minutes. After half an hour, a member of staff said it would be 3-4 mins. After another ten, they said there had been a problem and it would be longer. I ended up waiting in the shop for 45 minutes. It wasn't busy, except for a few people coming in for ice creams from the counter, and there weren't orders coming in and out for delivery drivers, so it was unclear what the issue was. Both orders were wrong, but they did at least remember to do one vegetarian and one vegan, after initial confusion over a request for no cheese. Pizzas were fine, what I was expecting as far as takeaway pizzas in a small place go, but service was really bad.

I'd like to firstly say that I used to like this place, however after tonight's experience, I will not be returning, ordered food for my child and I, which was a basic small order, chicken drumstick meal, pizza, side of nuggets, about 35 mins later, the waiter comes up to me and tells me it will be 4 mins max, another eternity goes by, waiter then comes up and asks me if we would like some food now and the rest would come later, which I obviously said no to as we ordered 3 things, and it would be nice to eat together, the food finally arrived, was it worth the long wait, No, no it was not, the chicken was as dry as a worn out sandle which had travelled through the dessert, my really spicy sauce which I asked for which was part of the meal, turned out to be garlic sauce. Couldn't complain to the waiter as he was busier than Basil Faulty during dinner service at faulty towers.

Best food I have ever tasted. Well worth the hour and a bit wait inside the restaurant. All the better washed down with a nice can of Coca Cola. I wanted water but the hostess made me take a Coca Cola and I didn’t regret it one bit.

Very tasty food Chicken wrap (Hot) Half chicken (Hot) Great ambience, very vlean and modern. Prices reasonable Halal!! Staff especially Faraz is very courteous and nice!

We ordered wraps and chicken and food was quite tasty.

We were supposed to go to a different place but decided to try this place for the first time. Excellent decision. Staff was really courteous especially Faraz who took good care of us. Delicious food. Would definitely come here again. Highly recommended it.

The waiter didn't know the prices. First asked to pay 50 pounds, after asking to recalculate, received 40 pounds. The food is dry, tasteless, only the pizza was better.

Went late to Oban on business and found this place, very clean and a decent cheese burger and bottle of juice. Professional and kind staff and managed to take requests in regards to food likes and dislikes. Good value for money and a pleasant experience the place also looks very professional with a clean set up will definitely visit next time on my visits. This establishment also have a very diverse menu which I would be surprised if it didn't cater for everyone. Serving Pizzas, currys, kebabs, burgers and a wide variety of desserts and lots more also so something for everyone.

Worst piri-piri ever. Piri peri doesn't taste like piri piri at all. Got some shredded chicken instead of a proper chicken breast. Asked for tomato, didn't get any. Asked for a pot of garlic sauce, didn't get any but they charged me for it. Gave me a warm drink with my food (on a hot summer day). Chips are dead as well. Avoid... but also avoid most takeaways in Oban... someone needs to give them some strong competition smh

Food was actually quite tasty, but we had waited almost an hour for it so anything would've tasted good at that point. We also had some food missing from our order which would have been okay if the food had arrived in the time scale they said it would be. We also didn't get our drinks until our food came and couldn't get them ourselves as there were no staff in the building to enquire too. The toilets were disgusting, barely usuable and reflects the establishment in honesty.

Really loved the soft peri peri chicken. So good that I came back twice for them! Also managed to leave space for this brownie and ice cream, which was beautifully presented. Great friendly service and quick. On that, the criticism of delays in service and delivery for here and other independent restuarants is unfair. These are not drive thru chains. And from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Oban, lots of the service industry are struggling for staff. Let's be a bit more patient and kinder folks please.

Not very good food. Not good service. Do not recommend. My wife and I went here for take-away. The girl helping us was not nice and was irritated anytime we asked a question from the menu. Mind you, this was the first (and will be the last) time we have ever been here, so you would think she could be patient and would want us back! The food was awful. The rice with the chicken was dry and hard. Gross actually. The chicken was DRY and bland. The sauce was average at best. Pizza ordered also NOT good. Frozen pizza is a LOT better and cheaper. Don't waste your time going here.

Genuinely THE worst pizza I've had in my life. We bought it to take back after many beverages, and even intoxicated and starving, it was inedible. It was undercooked and covered in parmesan!? Despite there being no mention of parmesan on the item description. It smelt and tasted like mushy feet... We even waited 20 minutes for it to be made and the guy told us "if this isn't the best pizza of your life, i'll give you your money back", however the place didn't open til 3pm the next day; by which point we'd left Oban! Chicken wings were nice though.

Absolutely stunning, food is 5 stars, all fresh and cooked to perfection, we cannot fault the restaurant one bit, it's immaculate inside and the staff are amazing very polite, we are from Glasgow and would drive the 3 hours just to eat here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recommend this place as I have being back loads of times the perfect chicken drumsticks live up to there name and the kebabs next door are amazing friendly staff what more do you need when you want a nice meal or takeaway highly recommended

The service was a bit slow but well worth the wait. There were 11 of us and every meal was beautiful.

Easy hassle free way to get some food in Oban. And definitely tasty! Waitress and Chef came checking on us if everything was alright, overall a good experience!

Pizza was extremely dry and tasteless and the chicken even worse I asked for the mango and lime seasoning but it didn't taste at all like anything except for a strange taste. Will never go back again

Takeaway pizza was good, the 50 minute wait was not.

Our pizza arrived an hour and a half late and although it wasn’t burnt “to a crisp” it was still really dark tough, it was overdone. It was cold and very tough too. Phoned you and they said another one would be up by 6 (approx 30 mins) guy in phone said to keep the previous pizza. The new pizza arrived at 6.40 and was darker than the first one but at least it wasn’t cold. The driver then asked for the first pizza back? I asked if he was sure but he said the chef told him to get it. I gave it to him but seemed pretty strange given covid etc….I asked him to take the new pizza back too but he declined. Delivery driver was so nice and kind and so was the front of house staff, but delivery driver also said the pizzas looked pretty burned but the chef said it was the “type of cheese”. We order quite a lot but won’t order from them again, will stick to chilli grillz. First and second pizza below

We took take away - tomato margarita pizza which my daughter liked alot and spicy chicken with 4 other toppings and it was very yummy . I will definitely recommend Mondo's pizza.it was freshly made and hot when I collected it after 20 mins.

Never left a bad review before but I feel this needs to be said: The food was an hour late, I called them 1 hour and twenty minutes after ordering to ask them where the order was and they said I would receive a call when they figure out where the delivery was but there was no call back. So we phoned them another 20 minutes later and spoke to two different people, I can only describe the manner in which I was spoken to as cheeky and as if I was being an inconvenience. The food arrived five minutes after that phone call and we were quite surprised by how small the portions were. I also have to mention the food was just overall a let down, the onion rings and wedges were very clearly reheated and not fresh. As it’s a Friday, we understand they will be busy and it’s not the delivery drivers fault for the timing but this is not a good reason for the severe lack of respectful customer service. Therefore I do not think we will be ordering from here again.

This place is very modern with a succesful restaurant chain feel, but more up market. Wouldn't look out of place in Central London or other city. Vegetarian Pizza was very nice and the crust was amazing, crispy but also a bit doughy. Also has a big selection of Parlour style Ice creams. I had chocolate orange and chocolate brownie. Was very good and stayed mostly frozen even after I had walked back to hotel and ate the pizza. Staff are very nice and polite.

Food was made quick and fresh, and tasted delicious! Will definitely be back again👌👌

Pizza is not authentic Italian, got my order wrong . Would not recommend and certainly not order from this place again.
