It was best place to eat I was disappointed by today’s food Momo with barely kima in it Pork chilli looks like pork curry Choila was like sukuti Everything was different

One of my favourite little restaurants in Reading. I love the Aloo Nimki. Today's was a lot hotter than usual, and had me sweating up a storm, but I couldn't stop eating it. Always enjoy the Lamb and veg momos too, although all of them are delicious. The staff are always really friendly too. Go on, treat yourself to some dumplings.

If you want spicy food at a great price, this place is very good. The chicken was flavorful with a sharp spicy kick that lingers on the tongue. I tried their Momo as well. All of it was hand made, with each cooking method giving each Momo a different flavor profile: all of them delightful to eat. Shout outs to Prakash Acharya for his impeccable service.

A hidden gem of a place that is cosy and welcoming from the unassuming front. This is a family run restaurant/takeaway shop that sells a limited menu but does so very well. The food is homemade authentic Nepalese cuisine, which are tasty and affordable. Overall great experience and one that I would recommend to others. I would suggest the steamed pork momo, chicken chow mein.

Generous portions of good food and reasonable prices, the chicken and pork momos in particular were very good.

Very delicious handmade dumplings (momo) with fried rice, the price is reasonable and affordable. Clean and tidy Nepalese restaurant in central Reading. Like all Nepaleses, staff are SSSuper friendly and humble. Take a bit time to prepare the food but it tastes absolutely local Nepalese style. Highly recommended. ⭐️x10

An oasis of peace and flavour in Reading. It’s a tiny but elegant shop run by Nepalis, and they serve excellent food. My food was freshly cooked but also fast, well seasoned and fragrant, and served hot. Service is excellent. Authentic and casual Nepali atmosphere. Highly recommend! Large portion of pork momos and chicken chow mein was £15.

I ordered buff momo from Uber. They sent half cooked momo. Never making any order from this cheap place.

I ordered a Chicken Thupka from here and found a fly in my soup. Very dissapointing as I had ordered the soup since I wasn’t feeling well and eventually ended up starving.

I used to love their food but I am really disappointed this time . The sukuti chowmin noodle was hard and chewy. Also, They used to deliver jhol momo and sauce separately but this time momo and dumpling was mixed and the sauce was too thin and also smells.

Excellent taste and good quantity. Highly recommended.

I had veg noodles from here but that was really sticky and thick and taste like smoky and sauce were smelly No spicy at all

We got the fried and the kohl veg Minos. They were all quite good. We did prefer the fried mojos the sauce is incredible! The johl Momos were good as well. Would recommend getting a couple of different dishes not just the Momos cause although they’re good it does get a bit samesy if you get the same filling. The service was amazing ethyl we’re very kind the atmosphere was great!

The place was recommended by a friend and after trying the food I am absolutely in love with the taste. The hospitality of the staff adds on top of the delicious food. I would definitely recommend the place to my friends and to all food lovers out there.

The momo is so good at all kinds of cooking ways, 5 star delicious.

Nice place for authentic momos , I would like to recommend Chicken Jhol Momo which is lightly spiced along with tangy soup

WORSE MOMO EVER. First the delivery was late then when I tastes food. Momo was like 2/10 and achar was 0/10 . What was even that. And I don’t even wanna talk about jhol momo. HORRIBLE. It was they mix water with just 2 spoon of momo’s achar and made it jhol momo. How thin was it and no taste only taste of lemon. That’s it. Never ever ordering again.

Such a good cozy place to have decent Nepalese food. Alu nimki 10/10 🫶🏼 momo was Juicy and flavourful loved it. Will definitely go back again soon. If possible just increase the portion of alu nimki.

Found this place last night, i didnt even know what a momo was! Went for the mixed selection, all i can say is WOW! Possibly the best thing ive ever eaten

My first time trying Napolese food. Had the best service from Ray. Very cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly delicious food . Definitely will come again.

One of my favorite place to have momo, their momos are too delicious specially the chicken fried momo. We have tried jhol momo as well and that's tasty too. Overall I am happy with their food and service both.

Best place to get authentic taste of nepalese food in Reading.

It's definitely the best Nepalese food I've had in Reading. Simple menu and delicious food. We received extremely welcoming service and they were very helpful at helping describe the dishes. Highly recommended. The restaurant is very cosy with a small number of tables and bar so defo worth booking.

Simple and yet amazing homemade style Nepalese food! It was the first time my husband and I were trying Napalese food and the kind young man working there answered all our questions courteously and with a great smile. And the price was great too! We will definitely be back!

Cozy and relaxed ambience. It is cutest little spot with amazing food. The hosts - mother and son duo were very polite and friendly. The momos were awesome and worth every penny you spend. Definitely a go to restaurant for food lovers in Reading. I would like to come back here again and again.

Decent food. Nepalese cuisine. Unique dishes I've not had beofre and reasonably priced. I ordered to collect and decided to eat in when we got there, the staff were happy to plate up my order and serve us inside. Lots of character and live house plants made it a very enjoyable experience.

Had takeaway from here last night as a bit of a treat. We got pork chilli momos, sukuti chow mein and chicken choila. Can't fault any of it. One of the best takeaways I've had in 17 years of living in Reading The chicken choila in particular was excellent

It was a hassle ordering through the webpage so we ended up ringing. After an hour waiting we rang them up and the lady said “the driver has already left”. After 30 more minutes we rang again and she said the same thing. They forgot one of our main dishes. Giving them a 2 as the dumplings were very very nice but service could improve.

First time trying, I Had fried lamb momos very nice as was the dipping sauce. Also ordered mixed meat chow mein, the noodles where very undercooked and dry/hard and tiny quantity of small pieces of meat in there but may give it another try soon to see if that was a one off. Lovely friendly staff and calming traditional music playing.

This Place is amazing. I love the food my fav is Aloo nimki and the pork momo but steam. Is so tasty and with the sauce is most delicious. I love it.

Nice cosy place with very friendly people. Reminds you of back home if you are from Darjeeling, Nepal or any other Nepalese speaking parts.

Staff were very friendly. Ordered on phone and ready to pick up at my designated time. Ordered lamb momo. Very nice with the hot chutney. Look forward to trying the chow mein.

What a hidden gem, fantastic Momo's. I ordered all 3 types, streamed,fried and chilli. You can order chilli as per your taste, I would say mild if you can not handle hot, I ordered medium. Steamed Momo's were so fresh,mmm lovely. I would also recommend Nimki aloo, it is so refreshing chaat. I tried it second time and same quality. Lovely food 5 star momos.

Amazing Nepalese. Recently moved to the area and been twice in as many days. Had fried Momos with chicken and you get a whole box (or plate) for £6 - and so good!! Love the chili sauce. Vegetable one full of carrots, peas,. potatoes - quite healthy especially steamed. Friendly staff and quick for take aways. Highly recommended
